Had a brief stay here while looking for the right car, did not have much correspondences. . However I would like to appreciate the sales representative Elijah-ha? I believe is his name? For his professional and personable service to us. He did not rush me, but took the time to listen to me and what I was looking for, and then offered a car to test drive based on the info I shared.I’m only giving 4 stars because I was only here a brief time. I was on a time constraint (not by them). But Elijah-ha’s method is the right kind of method. Calm, clear feedback, smiled and laughed a few times, and he even gave us a warning to be careful of certain types of cars with the turbo 1.6L because they no longer make these in 2019 because they have a kick back or something. His advice was helpful, and his honesty was refreshing.Earl (another person) later came and begged (slightly pressured me) that I would come back to test drive other cars, but overall experience was good. My wife and I just leased a new Sonata. I’m very happy with the deal we received and the ease of getting this lease. Allen Palmer is one of the best car salesman because He let us move at our pace and explained everything perfectly. This is the second car I’ve purchased/leased from Allen. The service department is top notch and very accommodating with fair prices. All in all a five star experience.

I had the best car buying experience I have ever had at Prime Hyundai! I had been shopping around at a few other dealerships- both Hyundai and other brands- and Louis at Prime Hyundai was more helpful than anywhere else and was not, in any way, one of those pressuring sales people that I have encountered elsewhere. I have had my new Tuscon for just over a week now and am in love! Thank you to Louis and Prime Hyundai! I will absolutely be back for future purchases and any service needed on my Tuscon.

When I bought my Hyundai from Volvo, both Volvo and Hyundai helped. The sales man Cecil was very personable and great. Him and the finance manager helped me get a car at a price I could afford, had it ready on time and they both have helped along the way. We had a snag that keeps me from rating 100% but all parties cooperated and I can say for my 3rd car, this is my favorite. They sell good cars and are very flexible, at least for me.

The service team here is beyond helpful and super nice. @Chris the service Manager was very understanding and patient hearing me out with all my concerns and really took his time explaining the process of how they were going to diagnose and repair my vehicle. Top notch service with Chris over at Prime. He & @McHenry handled my repairs and I appreciate them dealing with me so kindly when I was overly anxious about leaving the vehicle and helping make sure I had all my needs addressed. Hello, I like the approach you guys adopted not bothering the customers when looking at cars . We feel free too look into each of the cars outside, the timing to purchase was too long but I guess there were too many people so it’s understandable. Salesman was pleasant but a little unprepared . I’m still waiting for the spare of keys and that’s something he should have ready for me .

Went in to look at the new Hyundai Santa Fe for my wife. We have had 2 Santa Fes in the past and have had a great experience with both. This time my Wife felt it was time to upgrade to something higher in name.She allowed me to take her to see the 2019 Santa Fe before going to look at the Infinity she had her eye on. At Prime Hyundai in Rockland we were met at the door by Tom. He couldnt have been nicer to deal with. To be honest, a pushy salesman probably would have sealed the deal for us going to Infinity, but Tom was totally the right salesman for us. He listened to what we had to say and didnt try to give us the hard sell. After the test drive we sat down and talked with Tom, again he was great. Another salesman came over and tried the hard sell, which is when we left.After looking at the Infinity and test driving it my wife admitted that she did like the Santa Fe. We went back and Tom once again did an amazing job with us, no high pressure tactics that would have sent us away. We have the car now going on 3 weeks and couldnt be happier!Thanks Tom!

I recently had new brakes and a 3,000 mile checkup. As usual, the service was completed while I waited and I was well informed about the status of the work.this service dept has always been terrific and the quality of work to notch. I am very sorry to see this location is closing. I have 2 Hyundai autos and have taken them here for over 7 years. I will miss them and wish everyone the best in the future.

Ive been in the market for a new car for a while and had taken time to visit 10 or so dealerships on the south shore a couple months ago. Of them all, Prime Hyundai South was the only one I looked back upon recently as a pleasant experience. So when I finally sorted through my car options and chose the Hyundai, I knew where to go.Fred Hollis helped me from start to finish. Truly everyone I interacted with there was nice and straight forward. I really feel like they wanted me to get the car and financing which I felt comfortable with and was within my budget. Instead of continually requiring me to say no to this, and no to that like many dealerships do. They asked questions, tried to understand my needs, and then provided me with facts to make informed decisions.Greg Howle, the manager, checked in with me a couple times while waiting on different steps to be completed to make sure everything was going smoothly. He made sure the price I was quoted online earlier in the week was honored. Also they beat the financing APR my bank offered, giving me a very reasonable rate. At the end of the day, I drove out with a new car satisfied with the car and financing plan. Im not sure what else you could ask for.

Ive been doing business with them for 4 years now and every time I have questions or want to find a great deal I know they have my back. The sales representative, Allan Palmer is by far one of the better sales person in the industry, treated me fairly and a very down to earth guy. There was an issue with my insurance company to finalize the deal, and Jason and the team worked hard (over 3 hours) to get it right with them. I appreciate their efforts. I researched the vehicle I wanted through multiple dealer sites. Once I contacted Prime all of my questions were answered quickly without being bothered with several annoying follow-up calls. Every other dealer did...and still does weeks after telling them I bought a car. I texted with Lynn for a few days on different loan/lease options for a few different vehicles. She was very informative and prompt. Once I came into Prime Jordan assisted me. He was very personable and helpful. Between him and Primes finance guy, I believe his new was Emmet, theyquickly got me the deal I was looking for. They were able to get me more options at a better price than I thought was possible. The entire visit lasted only about 2 hours and that included a test drive, my most effective and efficient car transaction ever! A few days later I picked up the car, a 2017 Sonata Sport. Jordan greeted me at the door and proceed to explain all of details about the vehicle. He then brought me over to the service center and got an appointment setup for my first oil change and service, which is free! I drove away for the experience impressed and fully satisfied with the deal and all of the people I interacted with at Prime. Jordan Dias at Prime Hyundai South is a godsend. I went in with what Im sure felt like a million questions (that I must have repeated several times), and he graciously answered each one with detail, professionalism, and patience. I was unsure of what I wanted when I entered the dealership and looked to Jordans expertise for guidance, and Im very thankful that I did. I couldnt possibly be happier with my purchase. I now have a car that Im totally in love with, thats a thousand times better than what I expected to get, while still remaining in my price range. Not only was Jordan informative and incredibly helpful, but he was also refreshingly accommodating. From his hospitality and kindness, to actually going out of his way to take an extra car ride for document details I needed, but couldnt provide while at the dealership. Instead of asking me to leave and come back with these documents - which would have thrown a wrench right in the middle of the purchase - Jordan put the sale through, gave me my new car, and later took the ride for me after his shift was over to finalize the paperwork. Prime Hyundai South is the place that I always visit whenever my car needs to be maintained. This time, I went this place again to replace the engine oil, and they cared my car very well as usual. One thing I was impressed at this time is they cleaned up all snow/ice on my car. My car was very clean like a brand new one, and I think it is one of many things they do for their customers.

So I contacted the service manager yesterday with no luck in actually explaining what my issue was which is funny because his response online he seemed concerned on assisting me but he did not. my car was at the dealer two weeks ago the service advisor was Mike (he was great) I originally brought my car in for a burning smell near the back passenger side and a oil change. this is where the issue comes in the mechanic clearly was not good and maybe did not want to work that day. I was advised of only my battery needing to be changed and that everything else was in working order that the car was great shape including my brakes. fast forward two days later and the burning smell was the back passenger brakes there was nothing left so the metal smell was metal shafting together. I dont think I will be returning to this dealer customers life is not important clearly they are only concerned with their money.

I went to 4 dealerships before I came to Prime on the prowl for a specific color of a car in the right price range. I saw online that Prime had 2 in my desired color. The buying experience was so much better than any other dealership. I didnt feel pressured to sign anything. Andrew made the process pleasant and enjoyable and I feel like he treated my husband and I like we were real people and not just customers. The bargaining process was not long and drawn out like it is at other dealerships. I feel like Andrew tried to speak with me and keep me in the loop throughout the entire process. Additionally, Prime was the only dealership that offered me what I felt was a fair trade in value for my car. I would definitely buy a car from them again.

Other things needed attention and even though they had the car for a month they tell me on the phone the day I am suppose to pick up the vehicle which could have went different and handled better

Prime HYUNDAI was convenient, clean and state of the art. I didn’t purchase my vehicle from Prime but wanted to find a dealership closer to home where I could service my Santa Fe. My vehicle wasn’t running smoothly and the battery died on a Saturday and needed a jump start. I was able to schedule a service appointment for Monday morning. They quickly and efficiently diagnosed a problem with the rear differential and the battery failed it’s test. They had to order parts for repair so they got me in a rental and on my way shortly there after. Took about one week for the repair, 30K mile tuneup and battery replacement. The service department was curteous, friendly and honest. Great first impression. Will return here for service in the future.

I leased a 2018 Hyundai Sonata. Unfortunately, my first 2016 Sonata was totaled in an accident. The salesman who helped me both times is Allen. He was not scheduled to work today, but met me at the dealership so I could get a car right away. He was not pushy and gave me all the information about the car and Hyundai certification program. He also helped me with setting up Hyundai blue link. He made sure everything went well. Terrible customer service! Lied to me, deceived me, and then sold a truck out from underneath me. I talked to Luis and test drove the truck, but heard a whining noise that I didnt like in an otherwise great truck. I asked Luis to look into it and call me back. He did not. So I followed up with him to schedule a follow up test drive. He stated the mechanic couldnt hear it. Opened up the hood...revved the engine...and there it was. It was the aftermarket intake, which they didnt tell me about. So I felt good about the truck and try to put a deposit down. Luis says theyve scheduled a test drive with someone else. I say, I have a deposit. He wouldnt take it, but said hed get back to me. Then he avoids me, and when I call him back he says he doesnt know and hell get back to me. I talk to a different employee later that night and he says, Its been sold for days, I dont know what you want me to do about it. Meanwhile Im still getting SPAM updates asking if i want to test drive the truck. Great. Thanks Prime Hyundai.

Single handedly the best customer service I have ever received. I worked with Greg, Marcus and Earl and was greeted with a warm welcome and such hospitality. I had many questions which were all fully answered and they were extremely accommodating of all of my requests and needs. I showed up at 1:30PM on a Sunday and left 2 hours later in my brand new vehicle which was extremely impressive. Ive never received better service and will certainly be a repeat customer. I am extremely unsatisfied with the service that I received at Prime Hyundai South.When I called to make the appointment for service- oil change, tire rotation, multipoint inspection and splash guard installation- the first question I asked is if I could drop my car on Saturday for service and pick it up on Sunday, since I had family visiting from out of town. The receptionist told me this would be perfectly fine, no issues.When I arrived, I was told by a service advisor that this was not accurate and that I would need to pick my car up same day, which was a huge inconvenience to me. I explained to him that this was an inconvenience and had I been given accurate information, I would have scheduled this for another time. He told me that all they could do was get my service complete within several hours and no later than 1pm, which they did not. I had to call by 1:30pm and could pick my car up by 2:00pm- so as my family sat around I had to wait for my car even longer than the time they had given me that morning for pickup.The paperwork does not seem organized, the breakdown of services and costs do not make sense- and the receptionist could not answer my questions. I told her how inconvenient this already was for me so I did not have time to wait in line to speak with the service advisor again.In my paperwork, my multi-point inspection did indicate that all areas were checked and OK at this time, including abnormal wear pattern of tires for all tires, LR, RF, LR, RR.I was told the my oil change extended package would also come with a quick car wash and vacuum-- which apparently is standard for Prime Hyundai South with any and every service-- When I got to my car, it was not even quickly rinsed, nor vacuumed- another disappointment to add to the pile!While driving my car home, I noticed a wobbling noise and feeling. I did not have time to address this, since this whole day had already been an inconvenience.I was able to take my car back in by Tuesday morning and go into work late- another HUGE inconvenience.After 45 minutes, the assessment of the car was that the tires were scalloped and that since the tires were rotated(on Saturday), this explains the wobbling. So he explained that they put all the tires back where they started- no refund for the cost of my tire rotation!The service advisor printed a new multi-point inspection form, this time indicating under abnormal wear and pattern of tires all four tires requires immediate attention.When I asked him why the service technician did not indicate this on my inspection report from Saturday, he said the technician on Saturday is not well versed in recognizing this. ---So instead of indicating that he cannot assess the level of wear pattern of my tires, he chose to mark that they were all Checked and OK.During my whole experience of several visits to the dealership and several phone calls, NOT once did anyone even validate how inconvenient this was for me, let alone apologize! They actually made it as if they were doing me a favor.I will not be going back.. in fact, I dont think I will buy from Hyundai in the future.

Had an excellent car buying experience here. I have been working with Earl for three years now, he is the most professional car dealer I have come across. As long as he is at Prime Hyundai I will continue to be a customer. He was honest, straight forward, and you feel like he really cares about his clients. My experience with Prime Hyundai South was a good one. When my local Hyundai dealer did not have any of the models with features that I wanted, I went on the Internet to get a quote from other nearby Hyundai dealers. Prime Hyundai South had an internet price that was amongst the lowest. Unlike other dealers who responded they actually had 3 or 4 of the model that I wanted on hand.My dealings with Brian were pleasant and without pressure. On the day I picked up the car, they brought someone in to put on the plates, got me a sticker and I was out of there in about 30 minutes.I would definitely recommend Prime Hyundai South to a friend.good job
