I scheduled a chip repair and it only took about 35 minutes from the moment the technician took my keys. Molly, one of the receptionist was very welcoming and so helpful. I felt taken care of and all three of the people that helped me from start to finish did such a great job with customer service.Now, all Im hoping for is that this chip repair helps prevent any further cracking.
I went in because my rear view mirror fell off my windshield and they quickly reglued it for me. The service was impressive and their customer interactions were courteous and professional. A well run shop!
I scheduled an appointment to replace my windshield, and they told me I needed to drop off my car around 9 am and to pick it up at 5 pm. It was around 3 pm when I received a text message telling me that they were going to start working on my car soon. I got concerned about the time my car was going to be done because I needed it to go to an appointment at 6 pm. It was 4:30 pm and I didnt hear anything from them so I decided to call them but nobody answered the phone. After, I tried several times without luck I decided to go to the shop. It was almost 5 pm when I arrived there and they told me that my car was going to be ready in about 15 minutes. At 5:20 pm I was told that the windshield they installed in my car wasnt the correct one and that they would need to order the correct one which may take a few days to arrive. I was like ... What? They kept my car all day long and they just realized the windshield they ordered for my car was not the right one? How unprofessional is this?? Finally, after arguing with them, I left to go to my appointment to which I arrived late.A few days later they called me to reschedule my appointment because they had gotten the correct windshield for my car. They didnt have any convenient time available for me to drop off my car so I decided to schedule a home appointment. The time frame for it was from 1 pm -5 pm. On the day of the appointment, the technician arrived at my house around 3:30 pm, and he told me my car was going to be ready to drive at least in a couple of hours. I had to cancel the appointment because I needed to be somewhere at 6 pm. Finally, I am still driving my car with the wrong windshield, and definitely wont use them again.
Scheduled for morning service. Received an email stating I was rescheduled to week after since they wouldnt have the glass in time.On the appointment day, no one showed up. No calls. Nothing. Called the contact number on email. No answer. Looked on website and nothing was schedule!! Had to reschedule myself. Called Safelite main number to try and find out what happened. Lady said they showed up and unable to contact anyone on the week before!? What? These people dont have a clue and an inconvenience. Not going to use them again.
I was only home for two days so when I called to get my windshield replaced, I was super happy to find out that Safelite had a next day appointment. I got there when they opened at 8AM and left around 9:30AM. Qarin worked on my windshield and was super fast, friendly, and a cutie! My windshield has never looked so beautiful! Everyone in the office was very friendly and communicative. :) I would highly recommend going to Safelite in Rocklin for any glassware damage, I am super happy.
I had a tiny chip in the center of my windshield. The only appointment was about 2 weeks out. So I reserved it.I went in. The lady at the desk told me that the chip would still be there. Fine. She said that if the chip was near an edge that it might cause it to spread. I asked her to look at my car. She did. She told me it was small and in the center so it should be no problem.After the repair, there were two 2-inch long cracks coming from the repair. The guy who did the repair said sometimes that happens and that I was warned about it.No. I was told that it was small, and in the center of the windshield, and that it would be easy.Instead of a repair, they broke my windshield. No offer of a refund. Nothing other than sorry dude. $#!+ happens.I will not use Safelite again. This was a scam. If you take someones money and say its easy to do the repair, that is on them for instead breaking the windshield.
I would never use Safelite again...they lied to me about when my car windshield will get replaced and made me wait way past it was promised by when it will be ready. Not only that, when I picked up the car, there was a scratch on my brand new Audi SQ8 vehicle. Horrible

Slow appointment schedule. Dropped my car off, sat there all day just to learn the incorrect window was ordered. Went straight to Tesla and saved $100 had it replaced the next day (in my garage).

My husband took my Ford Mustang 2012 in for windshield replacement. When he picked it up, the repair man advised that we replace the windshield wipers and suggested to buy them from the store. He simply declined & didnt think anymore of it. Now, a few weeks later, we take the car out in the rain & realize that one wiper is totally disfunctional (which worked fine before the windshield replacement!!). I am livid, making another claim against them and will take to small claims if I have to. So dishonest & negligent.

I can’t comment on the techs. They seemed nice. But the manager at this place is very rude, and does not care to put any effort at all. I asked for a different brand of aftermarket windshield because I have had the brand they put in before (at a different shop) and it broke within 3 months. Seems like they do everything cheap. I even said I would pay the difference, and he still wouldn’t order a different brand. He never called me back either, I had to call to find out anything after a few weeks. The tech I spoke with sounded nice though. Just the manager that was rude. So I won’t let anyone I know go here. Won’t get my business.

Had a windshield chip repaired 7-21-20. It didn’t look completely filled. A week later the crack was back and spreading. Don’t bother calling them, they don’t answer their phones and after a cutesy message to stay safe the disconnect you. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Hopefully my AAA will cover the next repair!

My husband and I have been using Safelite for years. The technicians are always nice. They come to you (work, home etc. ) replace the windshield and clean everything including washing your windshield. We will use them again if and when needed.
I went to have my windshield replaced, verified the week before what the vin number was. They ordered the windshield from the long place and after 6 hours it hadnt arrived. They lied to me 3 times telling me it had just arrived. I ended up leaving before they even touched my car. We drove 2 hours to get there so going home and coming back wasnt an option. I think 6 hours should have been plenty of time and the receptionist shouldnt have lied to me, repeatedly. I would not recommend Safelite to anyone.
Replaced my windshield yesterday, air leaks through the mold and it started rain today. Just great.
Waited 4 hours for someone to come to an appointment between 1PM and 5PM. I made the appointment 2 weeks ago. Called the 800 number at 4pm and waited on hold for an hour. Finally was hung up on at 5PM. Office closed. Got a text right after saying my appointment was now the next day between 8am and 5pm. I can not believe they consider this acceptable after listening to a recording by them for an hour of how wonderful they are .
I have used this store for service on my vehicles over the years. Last visit for a work van service was very poor. Driver could not find our location at the opposite end of a warehouse with only 3 suites. Once here was very confused at his job.Now need a windshield for F150, scheduled for a week out. Called and said would reschedule when windshield was in. That was on the 31st, now the 14th of September. Tried calling but phone on endless loop with no answer. They must not want to stay in business.....

I went here because I had a two inch crescent crack from a rock just above my defroster vents, which basically renders my defroster useless. I also had a chip that had started cracking dead center of the drivers front view.I had the pleasure of working with JUSTIN who needs to be mentioned because his work was AMAZING! He even swapped out my windshield wipers, for relatively cheap in comparison to online prices. When he came back in after completion we settled up for the wipers since my insurance covered the cost of repairs. I got my key back and hopped in to my jeep, because it was raining and couldnt see anything out side. To my surprise both issues were completely gone! Who doesnt love new wipers, in the rain, with a clear windshield! Very impressive! Thanks JUSTIN!

How do you show up to an appointment with the wrong windshield? Waited all day and this company comes out and says they have a different windshield and the next appointment is in 2 weeks! Do not use this company save your time and money. Also called the company to get a sooner appointment waited for 2 hours to talk to someone. Spread the word this company is a waste of time. My Fad drove his hot rod out for Hot August Nights. On their way to visit me in Citrus Heights, a rock hit their windshield. My Dad used this company to patch his windshield. The staff got him in the next day. They were fast & friendly. So far its holding.
Called their number, no one answers or calls back. Thought doing the online appointment would get someones attention over there. Nope! They didnt have my husbands 17 Ram window. But they easily took a claim out on my insurance to try & get paid out but never called us back & most importantly didnt do the work. Isnt that an illegal scheme? Talked to Progressive over a week ago & the claim is still on there from July. Use your better judgment after them not answering their own phone!
Ever since I can remember I’ve used Safelite to have my windshields repaired of replaced. It’s always been a quick easy experience wether they come to me with their mobile service or I go to them. This week was no exception when I had them replace the windshield on my F150. It too about an hour and looked great.

Took good care and watch of our car for a week before they actually worked on it. Did a great job of fixing our windshield and cleaning out all the excess glass in the interior. I would give it 5 starts but I thought the price was a little to steep. Otherwise, they did a detailed job and was worth it!

Spoke to a lady on the phone to make an appointment...was going to use insurance...i wanted a simple quote and boy was she annoying...my insurance recommended this place...i have a 2017 Toyota prius with a camera...First they said they needed to recalibrate my camera thats 300.00 and the glass was 495.00.. .a total of 895.00...Ok..so I decided to call around to other places. I called Tigris and Capital auto glass...Both quoted a price of 300.00...i was told that the camera DOES NOT NEED TO BE UNHOOKED...THEREFORE DOES NOT NEED TO BE RECALIBRATED...THE COMPANIES SAY THIS SO THEY CAN CHARGE AN EXTRA 300.00. WHAT THIEVES. I told the Lord everything that I found out. I said Lord...how many people have they cheated out of the 300.00 that never needed callibrated...Someone will certainly answer to my God...We ended up going with Tigris...we had a same day appointment...done in a little over an hour...plus a military discount...289.00 out the door.Even when the removed the camera...they took us back to prove the camera wires do not ever have to be disconnected...therefore the calibration did not have to take place...Do not use these people...they are very expensive and not honest with the customers...my God will pay them back for every person they cheat...Thank the Lord I asked for His help before ever making the first phone call...He certainly proved who was honest and who are cheating people..This company not one time...speaking with 2 different people...told us the camera may not need to be recalibrated...i was told it must be and the cost 300.00...liarsThank you Tigris and David at Capital Auto glass for actually being honest...may the Lord bless your business...and curse this one for lying to me...You never know who the Lord will send to your business...I have over 10 million views on Google...i will make it well known your business cheats people.
After driving for over a hour to take my vehicle in to replace a windshield, I was told they had to order the windshield directly from Honda and wanted to reschedule for a different date. That would have been perfectly fine if they had called to inform me the day before my appointment at the latest.

Ive always used safelite without issue, theyve always done a great job.But being a member of AAA and needing a chip repair I was scheduled two-weeks out verses same week calling as a non-member. It will take some time to get over this. Most of the blame goes to AAA, but Safelite should drop the connection and take care of all customers equally.
You work terrible!!!!! Their job was to change my shield window but they got my car ceiling dirty and broke a lot of parts of my car!

I used them last summer when my windshield was cracked. They came to my home and fixed it quickly and kept my car clean. I used them again this summer when I drove from CO to CA and my windshield was cracked again by a rock. This time the worker left black finger prints all over the headliner of my tan interior and the rubber he scraped from the removal of the broke one all over my dash board. The location manager made him come back out to clean it but it required me to cancel my plans for the day. Then discovered that the repair from the summer before was not done right because they did not tighten my windshield wiper arms back down completely, which was causing the rattling I heard on my 2 day drive.

Took them 1 hour 46 minutes to do my windshield when my car was the only car in the shop at the time of start. Was told it would take 45 minutes. I saw technician vacuuming inside the car but debris was all over the dash under gauge cluster. Guy who took my money said my exterior glass was cleaned as a courtesy but nope, they were way dirtier than when it went in due to dust I the shop. No one walked out to the car with me to make sure I was happy and that any of the things they said were done, were done. The 2 women at their computers behind the counter said nothing to me while I sat in lobby for the remaining hour. The hour I lost because it took so long. Not even a smile or which car are you here for, I can check on it for you?The guy initially at front desk when I came in offered me water or coffee. At least he had a clue about customer service....

The glass was fine. However in the process the technician scratched my driver front fender and tore a seal. We addressed the problem immediately with Safelite. Safelite agreed to fix the damage. Safelite said they would return my call to set an appointment to fix the issue, but still have not called two weeks later. We sent photos and all the information in order to schedule an appointment with our selected repair shop. Still waiting for a reply.The vehicle is near mint condition, as its a 2018. The damage due to neglect from the technician is very disappointing.
Third times the charm. For a while now, the technicians were saying my particular 2017 Prius had a rain sensor when in fact it did, but didnt actually use it. This fact is what caused them to second guess the VIN check and manufacturers part that was given to them. But this human error happened 4 times in total before a windshield was finally installed. I cant express how frustrating this has been. Finally, I said to the guy that it is probably the right part if Toyota is suggesting the tech is incompetent. Just install it, and they did. So Im happy.
Disorganized, no communication. Told could be sealed by the manager after she came out to look at the truck. set appointment, told the whole window needed to be replaced. 360$ from 60$ made appointment. Mobile came out had wrong Glass tinted insteed of Shaded. Same price but now have to find shaded and order it to shop but im down to visit and have to go back home in a week. So honestly guys because you dont have it together i think ill pass on the Service and Go through somebuddy else.

Terrible service, and quality. Would not give me a firm appointment, nor tell me when the car would be ready. I had previously had the windshield replaced under Safelites lifetime guarantee. This windshield cracked, and even though there was no evidence of a foreign object strike, they would not honor the warranty. And it is onerous to try to speak to a real live person. Not a good experience. And look at their response -- they want me to go online, make an appointment, and go back to the shop. In other words, its all on me to fix the problem.

My appointment to replace my windshield was set up through AAA and technician showed up on time and took some before pictures before starting his work.. After his work was done I noticed some scratches along the frame and I took some pictures of the scratch and asked him to send me the before pictures so I can compare. The Before pictures were not focused. I emailed a copy of my picture and asked them to try to send better pictures multiple time via emails and phone calls and have never heard back.I did not ask for any compensation or refund I just want a return phone call or email.
They came to my work and replaced my windshield in the parking lot. It was hassle free. The tech was very friendly and finished installing the windshield in an hour.

Great customer service not satisfied with repair.I recently was driving down the road when a small rock hit my windshield and left a small chip. Just one chip smaller than a dime which I was hoping to have fixed to appear non existant. Or at least close. I was a total pain and called them last minute due to being at work at the time of the appointment. The girl I talked to was extremely helpful and understanding and possibly answered my call after hours. However when I got home from work to see what had been done I was disappointed to see the crack was still there and seemed to only have sealed the crack. It was only 50 dollars spent but for it to look almost exactly the same and still show a visible crack in the windshield I would rather have kept my 50 dollars.

Never expect to receive any warranty work for a failed product. Even though its written on their customer display poster you see when you walk into their office. I gave the local Safelite store 2 opportunities to properly warrant a failed windshield, and they refused and told me I had a miracle rock hit the windshield in the 1 inch space between the windshield wipers hard enough to break the window without leaving a divot. Of note the tech tapped on the window with his pen while talking to me and then asked if I heard the sound. So what safelite is asserting is that an object less then HALF the size and weight of a BB WILL break my windshield at 5 miles per hour and I wouldnt hear it hit the windshield. Ha Ha, Dont ever believe that a faulty product will be repaired without a nasty fight. What actually broke the windshield was the warm defrost air on the cold glass. I was there when it happened to 2 of their installed products.
Got my car back and I have a missing piece of paneling down by the pedals and the person working in the car must have been huge because left my seat back loose and squeaky. Tried to call the shop and no one will speak to me.

I had mobile windshield repair scheduled through Geico they quoted Geico a price. When I called back 2 hrs later to make the appointment they raised the price $30. I took 1st appointment they had which was a 1 week wait. They sent me confirmation day before (I took day off work for this) and then they cancelled 2 hrs before the appointment. Told me I would have to bring it to their shop, 1st appointmen was another 7 day wait or take next mobile appointment which was 2 week wait. Terrible customer service!
I went there to fix small crack on my window. Then they said it might be a little bit bigger. However, they broke the window. I was on phone with my insurance company. Meanwhile a criminal guy showed up, he came to the store. When I went inside to ask for a report, and talking about the issue and why they did not explain that to me well, the criminal guy took me out side and said if you talk more I will punch your face, go back to your F. Country. I was about calling police, he said he is gonna back in 10 min and shoot me in face. At the end he said these guys at safelite called him and he is working with them. Also he said, if you bring your car again here, they will cantact him and he is going to stop by again.This is how they do bussines, if you are not happy with their service, they make you happy by criminal people.Be careful when you go there, you may end up with issues.

Had service done from the mobile shop. The next day the rubber side panel started to come off while on the highway. Scheduled an appointment for a replacement and they cancelled because nobody ordered the replacement part. Would not recommend. Poor quality and customer service!
My wifes windshield got a rock chip and set up an appointment with safelight for them to fix it. The safelight representative shows up and gives me the rundown, which included that the windshield was hot and there was a possibility that the chip would expand when they cleaned the windshield. She said that it barely ever happens but if it did that safelight would reimburse my insurance company. What she failed to say was that they would reimburse the $50 for the chip repair but we would pay for the windshield replacement. Of course within 10 seconds of her working on he chip it turned into a 16 scratch in the glass. i thought no big deal since they broke it they will have to pay for the windshield replacement since that is what she told me. She then explains to me that all they reimburse is the cost of the chip repair, which is obvious because she didnt actually repair the chip, she made it worse and that we would have to pay our $500 insurance deductible to get a new windshield. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??First of all, if I knew the windshield was that hot and needed to be cooled I would of done that before she came over. She then got very defensive and said that we got an email saying to keep the car in the shade. I took her word for it but it turns out all the email said was to keep the car in the shade if possible. Regardless it was about 65 degrees outside and the car had been outside for an hour. Secondly, she very clearly made it seem as if safelight would be paying for the windshield replacement if something went wrong, which turned out not to be the case. So basically, Safelight broke my windshield and now Im out $500 to get a new one.
