Theres a reason for the 644 mostly positive reviews. They have a good selection and more importantly - stuff is in stock! Our experience was great and couch delivered three days later, on time. Plus, our salesperson Jesse was patient and knew his stuff. There was also an office manager / supervisor who was also helpful (cant remember her name). Highly recommended.
The purchase experience was great. God forbid you need repair service on an electric recliner 3 months after the purchase. After service is absolutely your worse nightmare. We are aware of parts shortages we were waiting patiently for 3 months. Not a single call from anyone with an update in that time.We finally got someone on the phone and he explained that they will take a part off a floor model and come to install it. Great! We scheduled time for someone to come and install the part and a week later the guy showed up. Come to find out they are taking the whole couch back to the store.?I have a home full of people and a big empty spot in my family room, no where did my family to sit.We called to reach the manager of this store just to be told “he will not call u back”.We went to the store and there is NO SERVICE MANAGER or MANAGER at this store and u have to try and fight your battles out with a customer service guy that was trying his best💯. After a long heated discussion they offered us a loaner. Great they will deliver it in 4 days and call us the day before. We received the loaner and we were told the repairs couch should be ready in a week. We will receive a call. Short story - they showed up a week later .. no call. I’m in my pajamas on a work conference call. The 2 guys that does not speak a word of English. The couch was delivered and the guy wanted to leave before plugging it in and testing it.This was the worst customer service and repair service I’ve ever experienced.You guys should be ASHAMED of yourself.
Awesome experience. We were greeted and asked if we had questions and when we said we were just looking they werent pushy and let us shop in peace. We found a dresser we liked at a very reasonable price and also a matress which we werent even looking for but it was on super sale and insanely comfy. When we were ready to buy the rep was right there and answered all of our questions and made us feel confident we made the right choice. Delivered next day and everything was in showroom condition and was exactly what we purchased. After a disastrous experience with Ashley furniture I was so thankful that this place was so on point. We got a solid wood six drawer dresser for under $500 and a 14 memory foam mattress for under $400. All in with $129 delivery fee we were just over $1k and could not be happier.
After a lot of furniture shopping nightmares, I gave it one more try. I went to American furniture Galleries in the Rocklin location. From the first phone call, to getting my delivery, (Tammy😁) displayed the best customer service Ive seen in quite some time. That old school customer service, that you rarely see anymore. It seemed as if it was her goal in life, for me to leave extremely happy and never forget my visit. Shes very attentive! Knowledgeable, just there for you! She made it easy, never came across like sales person. She kept up with me, through phone calls, texts, pics of my things if needed, doing more than she really had to, without any hesitation. Her kindness went along way. THANK. YOU VERY MUCH. TAMMY!! for making my headache go away!
We came in looking for a recliner and were greeted by Thomas. He was friendly and pointed us in the right direction. Best of all he let us wander around and take our time without following us or giving us some pitch. Glad he was there to help
American Furniture had many choices for a Cal King bed than anyone else. Showed up at 930 when they said 9to1 and set my bed up for me. They were very clean and professional. I highly recommend!
Had a very pleasant experience at American Furniture Galleries in Rocklin! Amazing staff, process was smooth and was able to get all items purchased and scheduled for delivery together including touch up/ fixing 2 floor model pieces with the other new items. Delivery personal was quick, careful and friendly. Had a item missing from order but after a quick call to our sales rep we were able to locate it and have that piece delivered as soon as they could. Worked well to make things right even tho it was a bit disappointing but they worked together as a team to get the piece to us as soon as they could! Would use them again and even recommend them to others!
My husband and I went to several different furniture stores and found furniture we liked at each one. The reason we went with AFG is because we were told our items were in stock and could be scheduled for delivery that week. We were told on Monday they could deliver Wednesday which we initially scheduled and then we were called saying they couldn’t do Wednesday but they could do Thursday. We had taken time off work to be home when it was delivered and I had not heard from them the day of. Our delivery window was between 9-1. I called at 12 to check delivery status and was told I would be called back with status. I wasn’t called back until 12:30 and was told that somehow our order didn’t make it onto the truck. It was very inconvenient because we were leaving town the following day and were told nothing could be done that day because the trucks were gone from the warehouse and couldn’t go back to make it right that same day that we took off work for. They did credit us $200 to our account which was good, but I was very frustrated with the process to get to that point. They are supposed to be delivering today. We were told a note would be made on our file to try to be the first to get our delivery, but there was no guarantee. Guess we will see if they read the files or not.
I ordered my bedroom set and sofa table on 7/3/2021. I was told that it was in stock and would be delivered the following Saturday 7/10/21 between 9-1. I was called the Thursday prior to when the furniture was to be delivered with a change in the delivery time between 1-5. That was fine. On Saturday, they arrived at my home at 5:30 with a slip stating that the bedroom set was on back order and it could take months prior to delivery. I asked to speak with the supervisor and he told me the same thing but also offered taking someone else’s order and delivering it the following Saturday. I told him that this was unacceptable and how else could we correct this. He stated that this was all he could do. I asked for a refund and took my business elsewhere.
We bought a couch and a love seat that was supposed to be made of some sort of leather blend...I purchased the insurance just to be safe....however, when the leather started dissolving they wouldnt honor my Insurance. We are left with Couches that have to be covered less the Leather shreds go all over my Carpet and floor !!! Beware of this Furniture store !!! Terrible Customer Service!!

We recently bought a dining room set there. Our sales rep gave us plenty of space to look around, but was close enough to answer questions. Table had a small crack in it. When I called they asked me to text a picture of the crack. They delivered a new one the next day. We will definitely shop here again. Great service all the way through even when things didnt go perfect.
Jay was super amazing and super helpful! He was so willing to work with us, even ran back and forth for us to check items and availability! He was never pushy! But did have a great eye for style and matching! We walked into American Furnuture store just to browse and check out the inventory! Sarah was very helpful and answered all our questions! No pressure sale at all! We walked out with an entire CAL King bedroom set!
Thomas was great and helpful on the sales floor. Unfortunately our installers tried to cover up their error in not installing the feet/levelers on the cross bars of the bed frame and put our mattress back on before we could inspect the install. We didn’t discover it until later in the day when we noticed a 30 degree dip in the mattress. Upon lifting the mattress, we discovered the missing feet and that the exposed metal edge legs were placed directly into our brand new two day old carpet, leaving six damaged areas in the new carpet.We called the sales office but the warehouse and drivers were already done for the day, leaving us without a place to sleep overnight. It was discovered the next day that the levelers/feet were still on the truck and Thomas personally delivered them to us. I am pleased with Thomas’s service and the response from management but doubt I will ever use American Furniture again given my experience with the installers. There was a 30 degree plus angle of the cross bar legs that they had to know was not right and they tried yo cover it up. It caused extra effort on everyone’s part due to their negligence and that’s not acceptable.
If you are looking for quality furniture and great customer service, don’t come here. I purchased a sectional a few years back and was pleased with it so I bought a dining set. I picked it up at their warehouse and the edges of the table top was chipped. They did replace that so I was pleased. Then there was an issue with the new table, the top started to blister after less than two weeks. I called the store and said a manager would text me. I sent pics of the damaged table and the said it’s water or heat damage. I know we had never spilled and left water standing on the table and never set any hot cookware on it. We have granite countertops for that. They said they sent the information to the manufacturer. Then that’s the last I heard from them. I texted asking for a status update after nine days and received no reply. It’s been almost a week again and still no reply. They use their text system to avoid having to speak to their customers. They have lost me as a customer and I had steered my friends away from them as well.
At first glance, its a welcoming experience with decent customer service. The nightmare really starts with the sales/products/manager Tom. I just moved from out of state and all I had was a mattress on the floor. I ended up getting a lot of furniture. Once the delivery men showed up, they communicated the best they could to show me that they didnt bring everything I had ordered (Which ended up being a blessing in disguise). They brought a wooden entertainment center, a wooden coffee table, and a couple pieces of a couch. I told them that they could leave the couch pieces here, but they refused to bring it in cause it wasnt the full set (again, this being a blessing in disguise). While they were putting the entertainment center together, I pointed out that its been damaged. Well, like batman this guy pulled out his handy dandy black sharpie and began to fill in any chipped surfaces. He was very quick, like hes done this plenty of times. The main issue is when they left and I shut my door. I went around picking up some of the mess the movers left behind and smelled this strong aroma coming from the wooden furniture. It had this strong chemical smell, like gasoline. I immediately opened my door and all my windows thinking it would air out, but the smell still lingered in my apartment, and I began to get light headed.I called the furniture store the next day cause my eyes and cheeks had swollen and out of fear for my health I told Tom that I needed to return these pieces, that it was affecting my health. Tom acted like I was lying and told me that he would set up a time to pick it up next week. This was extremely alarming. A customer tells you that their face has become swollen cause of the chemicals they soak their wood in and you dont think it a priority to send people faster than a week? Tom could not be bothered with my worries, and offered me only store credit or an exchange. Well after realizing that something was wrong with the way they treat their wood, I couldnt imagine getting anything else from their store, cause I would be getting the same sharpie/chemical experience that they pride themselves on. So I told Tom that I just wanted my money back, cause I dont know what Id spend almost $3000 on if I wasnt going to get any wood furniture from them. Tom eagerly tells me that if I want them to take it back that I would have to pay them 25% of the furniture cost that I have in my home. Great. So now not only is my health being affected, my face is visibly swollen, and now I have to pay over $700 or else I just have to let my health suffer. After trying to reason with Tom for an hour, I reluctantly agreed to his slimy offer. A week goes by and the drivers were a no show. I called Tom, feeling helpless at this point, and he tells me that their only delivery truck that they had got stuck in mud. I asked him how long does it take to get a truck out of mud? Was it stuck there for 8 hours? Tom could not be bothered with such questions. The drivers will reschedule you for next week. Are you sure you dont want the furniture? :)At this point I think they were playing games with me. How could things go this south? A week had gone by and Im legit sleeping with my front door and all windows open in the cold month of January. I would be shivering at night, just so I could avoid just a little bit of the chemical smell that somehow still lingered the entire time.Finally after two long weeks, they finally take the furniture. Tom calls me and tells me that I must return to the store, thats almost an hour away, if I want my money. I asked Tom if we could just do it over the phone, but Tom never budges an inch in any situation. Once I get there he tells me that his furniture store is not responsible if I get cancer, that it says at the front of the store that theyre not liable. Not once did I ever say anything about cancer, but good to know that Toms furniture causes cancer! Thanks for maybe giving me cancer and stealing $700 from me, Tom!Easily the worst business experience Ive ever had.Stay away from this store.
I went into the store to look for a new sectional since my wife and I where looking for a new one. I was early for a party at a restaurant in the same parking lot and did not have wife with me. I found one I really liked and the when I told the stocker sales lady I wanted to bring my wife back to look at it, she asked me who the man of the house is? Very rude

A lady named Agnes helped us. What a genuine sweetheart. Very helpful, knowledgeable, kind to the kids and not pushy. Perfect furniture shopping experience. I highly recommend this place!

Went into this furniture store on I believe 03/14/2021 and Ray greeted me, asked me one question and when I let him know that I was just looking, he let me know to reach him when I needed help. 15 mins later, I found the sectional that I wanted and Ray helped me buy it with ease. The staff are amazing and the furniture is beautiful with affordable prices. I had to update my review not because the staff isnt great because they are, but because the sectional couch is not good quality. Ive only had the couch since March 2021(today is 05/23/2021) and the cushions are already sinking in, the seam on one of the cushions is very visible and the one arm on the sectional is squeeking. The couch is not good quality. I know that Ill have to purchase another couch within 6 months.

We purchased a dresser and two side tables. We were told that only one side table was in the warehouse so we were able to also take the floor model.Our Saturday delivery day arrived and only the dresser and one side table were delivered. We called the store to ask where the other side table was.We were informed today that our side table was delivered to the wrong customer and we can either exchange our items or do backorder for the missing side table. So the wrong customer just keeps our purchased furniture? Crazy!We unfortunately have to do backorder and will be without a side table for 2-3 weeks.What a waste of time and money.We will not be purchasing from this store again!
The shopping in the store is great, but the experience after the sales is a huge problem. Since we ordered our furniture over three months ago we have not received all of it and instead had the store attempt to deliver more furniture to our house that we did not order on four different occasions, including today. I have called the store but have had little information and little responses to follow up phone calls. We are still waiting for the remainder of our furniture which is now going to be delivered sometime between now and never as the delivery date is continually pushed back with no real end in sight. The showroom is nice but my wife and I will never buy furniture here again after the random deliveries of furniture we did not order and the simple fact that proper communication is horrible and non existent.

Around 2013 we bought a living room set including a couch and loveseat from American Furniture Galleries because the price was right and we liked the style. For awhile they were great, but then recently the couch broke. When I took it apart to see if I could fix it, I was appalled to see the main support beams were made from garbage wood that had huge knots in the center, which is exactly where they broke. Its like they intended for this couch to fail. Unless you want throw-away furniture, I wouldnt recommend buying from American Furniture Galleries.
Found the sectional that we want and got a good deal. The staff is so kind enough to even consider and adjust the delivery date that’s more convenient for us. Can’t complain!
We were given a window of 10 am to 2 PM, they did not arrive until 3:30, fortunately we didnt have any plans, but it would have been helpful if they would have notified us that they were running late. Also, they took several screws out that were attached to the furniture for shipping purposes, I think they were in a hurry because they left them in the driveway, could have damaged our tires if we hadnt seen them after they left. We are happy with the furniture though.

We had a great experience here. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Nice very big store with a great selection of furniture. We bought exactly what we were looking for and a great price. Delivery was fast and they set up so quickly. Definitely would recommend American Furiture in Roseville to all my friends.
Delivery is the problem, we have been waiting a month now for our table. First we get a call saying they cant find all the chairs. So thay move the Delivery back. Then the day of the delivery we get a call saying the 1 and only delivery truck they have is broke down and now are delivery is moved back again. Now we just get a call saying they need to move it back again due to covid. They need to work on their logistics .
I wish i could rate in different areas than overall because in terms of the store itself it was 5/5 - most pleasant experience Ive had furniture shopping.Overall its a great store, friendly people who dont crowd you or force you to buy anything. Theyre very helpful in terms of helping you pair different pieces and willing to work with you in terms of price. Delivery men were very nice and the delivery came quick. Unfortunately in terms of attention to detail I had to rate 3 stars. Im now currently waiting on the 3rd delivery. The first time they forgot a bench that goes along with the dining room table, and there was a chip on the table, Neither of the were really that big of a deal - I wasnt upset and understood they would need to make another delivery. Unfortunately on the second delivery they remembered the bench but forgot the table, and then proceeded to tell me I never annotated or asked for a replacement, when I sent pictures to the help desk showing the chip. It took a few days but they finally sorted it out. I think overall it was a very enjoyable experience, however having to miss work for two days (their delivery windows are either 10-2 or 1-5 on weekdays), and then now again is a little annoying however theyre very understanding and accommodating. Customer Service 4.5/5 with quality of delivery 3/5 stars. Will buy from here again most likely just will make sure I express how important it is to pay attention to detail on their delivery for the next one.

We bought our couch in the middle of July with a delivery date a week later. The day before it was delivered they called and pushed it back a MONTH!Once they showed up to deliver the couch they told us the ottoman was back ordered. The delivery guy couldn’t give us a date. So when we called they said it would be until the END of September.We are certain that they knew it wasn’t going to be in. But the lady selling us worked on commission and didn’t want to loose the sale.
Thomas was great! We purchased our bed set with a delivery in 2 days. They were very easy to work with. Today we are receiving our bedroom furniture and I hope for the same experience with their delivery personnel. Also received a slamming deal!

The staff (jasmine) was professional, friendly, helpful, and not pushy or “sales-y”. The prices and selection were awesome. The delivery turn around time was the only thing that could have been slightly quicker, but even then it only took 2-3 weeks which I didn’t mind. Overall very happy. I bought a love seat and will be going back soon to buy another piece.

Labor day sales weekend & we shopped around before visiting this store. Every store we went into it felt like the sales people were gathered like hungry sharks waiting for a meal. Right of the bat this place felt different. Sales person (Jesse) greeted us, pointed us in the right direction and left us alone to browse comfortably. He was readily available for any questions but there was 0 pressure or sales tactics. By far the least stressful buying experience Ive had, we were in and out in no time. Love the option to pickup ourselves from the warehouse (saved us $99) and we had our sofas on the same day we purchased. Best part of the story: one of the recliners was defective. I made 1 phone call and the store arranged for a replacement to be delivered the very next day. Excellent customer service. Buy with confidence because if there is any issue the store is eager to remedy it and makes the process a breeze!

I really enjoyed shopping at American Furniture Galleries. Johnny K was very nice and very informative. The store is very nice and clean.I do recommend that any buyers thoroughly go over the workings of any buys that are going to be made. I was misled on where the battery pack is supposed to go, where it hooks into the chair, and I did not receive the transformer which is supposed to come with the furniture. The cords and the battery pack are a problem unless you use the chair next to a wall, which I dont want to do. Also, the chair is really to big for my living room. Buyers need to know how big they want to go.The store and the salesman were excellent and I will shop there again in the future.

Right when we walked into the store, we were helped right away by a very nice lady named Agnes. Agnes took care of us from start to finish, and we were there for less than an hour! We gave her our budget, and she was able to find us deals, and we can tell that she was not just after our money but what we liked and were comfortable with. We will definitely be coming back in the future to see Agnes!
We recently saw a dining set in your ad that we liked so we went to the store to check it out. It was even nicer in person! The set is beautiful and very heavy duty. We couldnt believe how heavy all the pieces were. It was delivered today & looks wonderful.

Agnes and Tom were excellent in helping us at the Roseville store. However, it was a horrible experience picking up our furniture at the warehouse in Sacramento. We were told they are closed for lunch between 1 PM and 2 PM, and I arrived at exactly 12:35 PM. I wasn’t contacted immediately but shortly a lady named Li obtained my information and helped me. For the next 15 minutes she tried to track down our item. When she finally did, she couldn’t find any one of the half dozen or more employees to go get the item. It was about 12:50 and everyone was getting ready for lunch. She asked several employees to go get it but they were too involved in getting ready for lunch. A Man named Jose came in the office area and sat down. She asked him to go get the item but he said he was on lunch. I asked him if he could go get the item for me and he said, “it’s 1 o’clock and I’m on lunch“. I said, “really? You won’t help me out?“ After that, he just ignored me. He absolutely just ignored me! Li again asked him but he ignored her! She told Jose that I had been waiting for my item at least 20 to 25 minutes, to no avail. She finally went outside of the office area and asked a group of guys sitting at the table eating lunch for someone to help me. Finally, one man name Thomas, reluctantly helped me and got my item. Li even explained to the group of men that I had been waiting at least 25 minutes before their lunch hour for the item. What a crazy, horrible experience with a bunch of inept, incompetent employees, except for Li. Thank goodness she was there and took care of me.So, If you buy from American furniture, try not to go there after noon or before 3 PM. Or just have them deliver the furniture to you. Jose was absolutely rude and just ignored me when I asked for his help. I even told him that he is horrible with customer relations. He didn’t seem to mind that at all.I just I am encouraged that Tom may straighten that place out down there and give Li a promotion!Anyone in management can contact me anytime about this.
Mark greeted me as I walked in the door and asked if he could help me. He showed me several pieces of furniture that were in the realm of what I was looking for, and then he left me to browse further on my own. I appreciated that he was helpful, but did not hover. When I had a question and then wanted to buy, he was immediately available.I like the range of choices available in the store and the prices (I was there on 40% off day) were great.

The experience at American Furniture has been excellent so far. They were selling a dining set for a killer deal for which only the same table was available at Scandinavian Furniture right opposite to them.On top of that Leonid was super nice and accommodating. Amazing service and delivery people were very professional also.Would highly recommend them based on the experience so far!!

The in-store experience was fabulous. I found what I wanted quickly and the price was comparable to the competition. Leo was available to help me promptly and he was efficient in completing the transaction. I was delighted when I left the store, but not as happy with the product delivery and exchange process. 3 of the 5 pieces I ordered were not in pristine condition (nicked/scratched), but Tom worked with me to quickly order replacement pieces. 1 of the pieces is still pending another replacement; the 2nd one they brought was also damaged, but Tom assured me, We want to make it right, so I think they are concerned about maintaining a positive image.
This is our second purchase from American Furniture Galleries. Always such a helpful and friendly staff. Im so happy with the prices too! I went in to get a home office desk and since the prices were so good, we decided to buy a set of love seat sofas to go with the new desk in my office! Yay!
We were very pleased with our experience at American furniture. The sales people were there but not on top of us like has happened at other chains. We got an amazing deal on a living room set. Delivery was quick too in less than 2 days. We will definitely be back when we need to purchase anything for our home.
Wonderful service in the showroom and during delivery! Very friendly and professional service all around. Our salesman helped us through choosing the best couch for us during their mega sale and helped us get set up for a proper delivery. Our couch was set up in minutes and their delivery service comes with a 1 year warranty!! Win win

This store and its employees are exceptional. We had a wonderful experience purchasing Furniture there recently. Agness was attentive but not pushy, she gave us our space and didnt make us feel pressured. We got a great deal and delivered a week before original delivery date! We will definitely be back soon!!
Incredibly rude service, my wife and I were turned away today after being told w had to wear a mask to come in. My wife has a medical condition and cant wear a mask, even has a written note form her doctor and the lady said you need to go home. I was going to spend thousands of dollads there today and the place was empty and I could see why. Placer County lifted restrictions a month ago and none of their competitors including RC Willey are requiring masks, I was just there twice last week. Very disappointed as my family has went here for years, she said it was the owners rules but its just discrimination. They have lost our business permanently!
This place was pretty sweet! My roommates and I needed a couch. One of my buddies got his bed here. Said it was cheap even with delivery. We got this big brown couch for like $100 under our budget. The manager said he would get it delivered that weekend. We saved money and got a great couch. They have low prices and chill staff. 10/10 would recommend
Purchase process was easy. Jessy was great and answered all our questions. Furniture is being delivered today. I will update review once we receive furniture. So far so good.

I was shopping for a living room set consisting of sofa and a love seat with the console in the center, the sales person named Terry approached me as I entered the store. He took me around and helped me find what was suitable for me, I actually did not purchase on my first visit but I did have an invoice with the details of what I had chosen. My second visit was just in the same week, luckily Terry was there that day and helped me again There was another set that I really like, my husband and I tried it, and that was it, delivery was done the next day very punctual the delivery guys set the furniture up, it is now in my living room, nice and comfortable.
