Sierra Soapstone is the best! I would highly recommend them! My countertops turned out beautiful, exactly what I wanted! I Love them!! Rosemary, Ben and Nick were all wonderful to work with and they met the timeline we scheduled, to the day! They were very clear with everything I needed to do before the template and install and allowed me to make several changes before signing the contract. There were no hidden fees or unexpected cost. The price was the price! They made it all really easy.I only gave 4 stars for this reason:The day of the install I made sure (per the instructions I was given) that I had all the sink parts necessary, so they could make sure everything fit properly. I asked several times, while the installers were there, if they wanted to look at the sink parts (faucet, dishwasher air gap, drain flange), but each time they said no. The next, day my handyman came to install the sink parts only to discover the drain hole that the installers cut out was too small for the flange. I immediately called Sierra Soapstone to let them know the problem and was told no one could come that day to fix it, but I could sand the whole bigger myself, for an immediate fix, because thats what they would do. So thats what my handyman did, for an hour, that I had to pay him for, when I had already paid for the sink to be built properly. Needless to say, I was a little annoyed. The situation could have been avoided had they made sure all the parts fit before they left, like I offered.In the end, everything was put back together properly and I would still highly recommend them, but I would insist they make sure everything fits properly before they leave.

We had a wonderful experience working with Sierra Soapstone. Rosemary was fantastic. Her personality and energy made it a real pleasure to work with the company. She was great in helping us pick out our slab and was right there with us every step of the way. The measuring and installation went smoothly. The finished counter tops look amazing. On top of their great selection and outstanding service, Sierra Soapstone was also much cheaper than other places we looked at. I cant recommend them highly enough.

I grew up with soapstone in our kitchen on the East Coast. Over 14 years ago we put it in our kitchen (and a farmhouse sink) before most people even knew what it was. Its fantastic. Looks beautiful. We are building our outdoor pizza oven, smoker, BBQ area and soapstone was the go to for our counter. We went to Sierra and the customer service we received was amazing. Rosemary and Kendra were so great to work with, I cant say enough great things about them, the company, the product.

I needed to replace my laminate counter tops that had strips peeling up but Im sure that Im selling my house in three years and moving out of the area. I received a bid from another company but was then referred to Sierra Soapstone. Rosemary was fantastic. The skilled workers were fantastic. They came one day, tore out my old counter tops, made a template of my space, then they came back a couple of weeks later to install the new counter tops. When I was searching for the right slab, Rosemary directed me to a specific section of Arizona tile where I could buy discounted single slabs since my kitchen was small. I found a slab that I liked but it was too small. Rosemary called them and they found the same material slab in a bigger piece for only pennies more. Everyone was very helpful, very courteous, highly skilled--now Im not sure that I want to move in three years. My kitchen is beautiful. I enthusiastically recommend Sierra Soapstone without any hesitation at all.

I must say I have not encountered an interaction like this in many years. Serra Soapstone went above and beyond in all aspects of the remodel of my large kitchen. They held my hand throughout the entire process. Rod the owner was the best, and Rosemary REALLY gave me the royal treatment which I have not experienced in a long time. There was no pressure to buy or hurry and decide what slab I liked. The whole experience was painless. Their product is beautiful, with quite a range to choose from. The best part is that it looks so very beautiful installed. I am one happy customer. Thanks to all involved.

Though our kitchen experience wasnt perfect, we would highly recommend Rod and his team for any project. He has the heart of a teacher, and wants the best for his team and his clients. He went above and beyond and gave us window sills and a backsplash for free because he already had the extra material on the slab. He even came back two weeks later to make a few adjustments and ensure that my wife and I were happy with the finished product. We love our new counters and would happily call on Sierra Soapstone for projects in the future!

I told my husband I think I need to write two reviews instead of one so I can give them the 10 stars they deserve. From start to finish everything has been flawless. Let me preface this by saying originally I was going to use a different company that was recommended and it was nothing but a headache. My project kept getting pushed out. Last Wednesday I was told by them it I be an additional week to start so I got frustrated as my whole kitchen remodel would be held up and I was really getting tired of fast food. I went on Yelp that day and found Sierra Soapstone and the best decision I made was calling them. I went in and spoke to Rosemary ... who is by the way absolutely amazing. Explained my situation to her and she worked miracles. She gave me a more than reasonable quote to fabricate my quartzite slab and had Rod ... also great to work with there that day (yes Rod we talked to our neighbors and they thought you were hilarious too) to measure everything. All this on a Wednesday. Our slab delivered that Friday and an appointment was scheduled for the following Friday to install. She contacted me yesterday to say they had finished early and had time on todays schedule ...if that worked for us... ABSOLUTELY YES.. I came home today to the beautiful kitchen I envisioned when we started this project over a month ago. I cannot say enough good things about them. Definitely would use them again. Have already given my first referral that will be calling within the next year. Thanks again Rosemary and every one of the guys that made this happen

At a time when customer service is very much declining, these people at Sierra Soapstone make up for all of it. From the time I first visited Rosemary, she spent time to help me with my decision of soapstone or granite. She has great knowledge about the products. I knew whatever we chose for our house this company would be the ones to complete the job.I love my counters! Soapstone won the choice! It is beautiful and more than I expected. Rod was wonderful with suggestions for how to complete the job for my kitchen space. He has an artistic side to him about how the counters and bar should flow together what backsplash will compliment the counters. I chose the rough edge for the bar. It is beautiful and dramatic.The installers were also a wonder. They worked tirelessly putting in the counters. They took the bar piece back to the shop because they wanted a change to make it flow better! They brought back a third person with them to have him check things out.I cannot say enough about how well this business is run. I recommend them very highly.Janice Dreyer

I just had a soapstone countertop and window sill installed in my new kitchen yesterday and I am so thrilled with them. (I was literally jumping up and down after they were installed and oiled.) Cant wait until everything else is in place and I can use them every day!All of the people I have met at Sierra Soapstone have been amazing. From my phone call, to walking into their Rocklin office and meeting the receptionist, then April and Rod, and finally Mike and Anthony, who did the install. They are just good people and were a pleasure to deal with throughout the experience.If you are in doubt about getting soapstone, just throw that doubt out the window and call them, go over to their office/showroom and see for yourself. Soapstone is amazing - it is beautiful, durable, heat proof, stain proof, great for rolling out pastries, and did I mention beautiful?! If you must scrimp and save on other things to afford it (like I did), do it - you will not regret it. And Im sure it will only get better with age and patina from all the pastries I will be making on it. ❤️❤️❤️
