This is the best jewelry store Ive ever been to. My now husband and I started our engagement ring journey at Santillan, where we met Marty. He was informational but never came off as a know-it-all, helped me narrow down what I wanted in a ring, and encouraged us to look at other shops because he genuinely wanted me to have an engagement ring that I loved, even if it meant it wasnt from him.We went to at least five other Sacramento-area stores in the next month, mostly other small businesses, and nothing compared to the rings that I found at Santillan. We went back and had a custom ring designed based off of the ring I loved most, as that thin ring was more decorative and didnt look like it would hold up to 50+ years of daily wear. Marty was helpful with all his suggestions and made sure the ring was thick enough to withstand daily wear while making it even more beautiful than the original.The ring was inexpensive compared to other stores, but it was higher quality and far more unique than any other we had seen. We had numerous consultations to make sure the ring was exactly right before getting a wax mold (see photo) I could try on to make sure it looked good. It did. :)My husband then got his wedding band custom designed at Santillan after finding a ring he liked online, and Marty ordered the gems in advance and had us pick out the ones we liked best to go into the ring. He offered helpful advice in creating the ring to make sure that it would last a lifetime and could be resized easily (if needed in the future) due to the design.You simply cannot get this level of service anywhere else. Ive sent all my soon-to-be-engaged friends to Santillan. We plan on coming back for more custom pieces if/when the occasion rises. Santillan Jewelers is truly a gem.

First of all the quality of work is amazing. I have brought several of my rings for repair. Recently, I needed an antique diamond ring sized up. It had been sized a few times in its existence, which I didnt know mattered. When I came to pick up the ring he said he had to replace the entire shank, which is considerably more money then just sizing up. He wouldnt hear of me trying to pay for the extra labor and material. He stayed with the original quote and just said he wanted to keep my business. I will be referring all my friends. That kind of service is hard to find.

They did work on a ring that was very old. Very good job and friendly service. I recommend them if you need to buy jewelry or need work on your jewlery. No better place in the region.

Marty was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and kind. I was nervous to take my wedding ring anywhere to get it resized, but they did an excellent job. I dropped it off on a Friday and was really surprised and ecstatic that it was ready the next day! It looks great and I’m very happy with the service.

With being somewhat new to the area, I didnt know where to go to have a set of diamond earrings made from my mothers wedding rings. I went online to search for a jeweler and found Santillan Jewelers with great reviews and liked the fact it was a family owned business. On our first visit, my husband and I immediately liked Marty who was very helpful and comfortable to talk with and we knew we found the right jeweler. The earrings turned out beautiful and I was very pleased.I then worked with him to design a grandmother pendant with my grandchildrens birthstones and together, with his expert advice, created the ideal setting that I love and will treasure forever. He was very understanding when I returned a couple of days later after picking up the pendant to say that I had made a mistake on the order I wanted the stones to be placed in the setting and very graciously told me not to worry and had a couple of the stones reset at no cost to me...now that is what a call good customer service!In the near future, we will be working again to design a ring with the remaining diamonds from my mothers wedding rings and I am confidant that whatever setting I choose will be awesome. Fantastic job on my ring repair. I lost the center stone from my ring because the prongs were worn. Santillan Jewelers was able to not only replace my stone, but replaced the center setting with a new one. It was beautifully cleaned when I returned to pick it up. Thank you so much!

We brought a marquise diamond to Marty that we wanted set in an engagement ring. He knew the exact setting that would enhance the stone and after looking at several other settings I eventually decided on the original setting he picked out. He has impeccable taste and we were impressed by his professionalism and knowledge, as well as his kindness. He also listened to what we wanted and did not try to sell us on anything that we were not interested in. The engagement ring turned out beautifully. Awesome customer service!!! Marty is amazing! The amount of time he took to make sure we had the ring we wanted without pressuring us to buy anything is incredible. He was so accommodating. My husband ended up ordering a customized wedding ring from him. Then a couple years later when we moved to Indiana, he lost his wedding band that he absolutely loved. But Marty had the original ring order on record and made it a cinch to order a replacement by phone. We always have such a good experience with Santillan Jewelers...even when were not local!

Thank You! I lost one of my diamonds we took my ring to Marty and he helped us determine that after 25 years it was time for a new setting he helped us choose and design a new ring. He never pressured us or try to update he listened to what we were saying and guided us to the right setting. We were hoping to have it before Christmas but it wasn’t guaranteed. I recently got a ring sized at Santillan Jewelers. Other jewelers had told me they didnt want to take on the job or that I shouldnt really resize it. I went to Santillan because of the great reviews they had received and felt at ease right away. They were very professional and came across as trustworthy and knowledgeable. I was looking for fresh water pearl earrings to match a necklace I have had for many years. My Boyfriend and I had gone to all the jewelry stores on the mall without any luck. We had stopped earlier at Santillans and they did not have any that matched my necklace but offered to go through his catalogs and order some for me. We went back to Santillan Jewelers and we went through all his catalogs with pearls and found a close match and ordered them. I will definitely be going back for any future needs. Such service is hard to find these days...

I went to Santillan Jewelers to have an item repaired. The estimated time needed for the repair was 2 weeks, but it was finished in just under a week. The price was also very reasonable.
