This is another excellent Green Acres nursery. There are several more in the area. We like the extensive selection of plants, pots, and garden supplies. Our daughter likes to purchase vegetables and flowering plants in early spring for our summer garden. The staff is friendly, helpful, and most importantly -- knowledgeable.

If you need anything for your garden, this is the place! Barbeques to topiaries, and everything in between. Fun or sophisticated, the options available in plant material, accessories or hard scape are in this one stop. The variety of soil amendments and top mulch allow you to take on your garden project start to finish. Convenient location, plenty of parking. And if all that wasnt enough, the staff is like the cherry on the parfait; friendly, knowledgeable and available.

This whole store is so aesthetically pleasing. The employees clearly work hard to keep all of the plants well cared for, and all of the supplies neatly organized. And everyone is so friendly!I also have to say I was surprised by the prices. Pretty much everything I saw was priced as expected or lower. I feel like so often Ill go into similar stores and get sticker shock from the silliest things. All of the pricing was very reasonable, which meant I was able to get not only the things I needed, but also what I actually WANTED while still staying well under my budget. Definitely my new go to store!

Uuugggh. I am so frustrated by the indoor plant cultivation with this company. I have purchased many plants over the years, and about 15% of them turn out to have some kind of fungal or bacterial infection, which usually kills the plant in a matter of weeks, or severely stunts the growth during treatment & recovery. PLEASE carefully inspect the plant, leaves, stems, and roots before you bring them out onto the selling floor. If youre a customer, dont get star struck by a cute plant - check it over and look for signs of pests, mildew, overly saturated soil, rotted roots, or unrooted cuttings.On the other hand, I have happily had success with a great number of landscape trees & shrubs, as well as fruit trees & vegetable starts, so I do HIGHLY RECOMMEND their outdoor offerings. This is also a good place for soils, fertilizers, pest control, and irrigation supplies.

Today we made a trip from Paradise to Green Acres. We knew we were going to purchase a few Azaleas as ours were burned in the fire. Our first encounter was not very positive with an employee that was abrupt and condescending. We felt like leaving but I wasnt going to let that person ruin my trip! Then this older employee which saved our day was wonderful. As we had never been here before, he showed us the layout and was so sweet. We purchase $400 dollars worth of azaleas and were so pleased with the quality! Finished off on a very positive note thanks to this gentleman!

I like how big and clean the store is. It’s never crowded when I go which is very nice. They usually have what I am looking for but the last two times I went my hibiscus plants came back with whiteflies and mealyworms. Lucky I caught them early enough to not infect my other plants, but I wish I would have seen them while I was there. A few weeks back I saw the whiteflies on the Hibiscus and told someone and they said they would remove all of them and treat them. I went back the next day to get more soil and the plants where still out there. I love green acres but I don’t think I’ll be buying plants from this one for a while.

Very friendly, very helpful, large selection of plants and gardening supplies. Prices are not cheap but not expensive either. The pottery is colorful but I prefer more earth tones.

Love the helpful staff!!! Hug selection of veggies and soil prep. Fast courteous checkout staff as well. Outdoor staff were uber helpful and had answers to all of my insane questions on trees. Needed a replacement to grow over the chicken coop. And signage with info and pricing.

Easy access to this location. Super friendly and helpful staff. Unlike some bigger chain stores, you can expect staff to approach and ask if you need assistance.Currently, the entrance is through the garden gate and exit is through the front of the store. I expect this is due to the pandemic.Prices might be a bit higher, but the store is always well stocked and most products are high quality.

I love this store and the variety of all things related to plants that they carry.... But I was kind of disappointed in the quality and prices of the plants they offer. I know this store buys plants from several different suppliers so prices can vary, but for the more expensive ones Id like to see them in a little bit better condition. $50 for a pothos in a 6 inch pot is already pretty expensive, but some of these looked to be in pretty poor condition. A lot of yellowing/browning, a lot of scarring, rips, curled and sagging leaves... I did find some much happier plants in another GA location that were in excellent condition for a fraction of the price.. I gave this location only 4 stars due to the condition of the plants.

I have been dealing with Green Acres if Rocklin for some years and find them to be very helpful courteous and patient. Highly recommend this business.

Extremely unkind phone demeanor. Also, I drove over four hours to purchase a particular plant that was supposedly set aside for me to find out that it never was (despite confirming that it was and still would be the night before). Thankfully there was still one out on the sales floor. I would not recommend visiting this particular location.

Bought some landscaping lights here recently. Very good quality at about 20% less than the manufacturers suggested retail.

This is honestly my favorite gardening store. They have a little bit of everything! From plants, to decorative rocks, to soil additives and fertalizers!Ontop of all the goodies they hold, they can get a line as long as a train through in 2 minutes. (One of the few stores that actually use all their checkout stands)Would highly recommend for anybody who is looking for gardening supplies or a nursery to come check out this store if you havent already!

Green acres nursery has great quality of plants. Their helpful and knowledge staff can assist you in choosimg your plants based on where they are going n your home. The Roseville location is larger so you can purchase large trees from there.The Rocklin location has a more indoor furniture and plants but also a lot of outdoor plants for your general gardening needs.

Not knowing a Iot about plants (gardening, in general) I went to GA looking for greenery to plant on a hillside. With so many varieties to choose from, I was overwhelmed. A very knowledgeable staff member was there to help me select the appropriate plants. I look foward to planting them and seeing the results in the months to come.

This is my 4th and final time visiting Rocklin Green acres. 1st time, went in to purchase 6k patio set. Nobody would help me! Went to cashier for help and she told me to go to the end of the line! I walked out and called manager! She apologized and said she would have a talk with employees! 2 weeks later went in for some patio plants and palm trees! Again, I asked employee, who knew nothing and was pretty rude! I walked out! 3rd time I helped myself because customer service was to busy chatting with each other and just Stared at me!4th time, today my wife walked in and asked for help! Employee answered one question and then walked away! So sick of these people and their laziness! They have lost a total of about $9,000 dollars from me! My advice is to read up and research before you go in, because customer service really is bad here!

Worst experience at a garden store... The woman at the check out area was obscene and threw a fit because we grabbed an item without a price and she had to find the code for the item. Everything is also weirdly overpriced and it wasnt a good experience going in.

Ive bought multiple African daisies, and several of them have died, no matter what I do. Ive also spent a few grand on landscaping items for my home. I feel this is unacceptable, especially with the price you are charging for the African daisies. Id like to have them replaced for free.Elliott B.

We have frequented the green acres in Sacramento, Elk Grove,Galleria, Folsom and this one, in Rocklin. Of all the Green Acres stores this one, in Rocklin, consistently provides the BEST customer care and service from Tony in yard service, ( who remembers us from a year ago!) to cashier manager, Debbie, asst mgr Marshall, general store manager, Brian and furniture sales, Annabel and company. This ROCKlin Green Acres ROCKS!!!

Id give this place zero stars if possible. Bought a pot of calla lillies last week. Within two days the lillies were wilting and rotting at the base. I emptied the pot to rescue the bulbs, but they were rotten to mushy pulp. Also, the woman at the checkout couldnt tell me whether they should be kept in the shade or full sun. Terrible experience... Not shopping here again.

Both the Roseville and Rocklin locations provide some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. My husband and I love the atmosphere and expertise the staff create at these stores. Our questions are always answered thoroughly. We have purchased a little bit of everything from this location, great products and return policy!

Refused to let me buy a plant Ive been looking for for 5 years now. Its a special indoor braided plant. Noticed the new growth has aphids on it, so asked if they did anything for that. Apparently once you point that out, they refuse to sell! Are you kidding me!?!?! WORST SERVICE on top of that! Not the store it used to be. Wouldnt recomend giving them their business. Go to a mom and pop nursery!Reypling to green acres response. They put it back on the shelf the next day, still had aphids on it. The excuse of I dont sell unhealthy plants was incorrect. Only to someone who may notice it. I almost went back to the indoor garden to bring up some of the dead ones out there no one was caring for. At least 20 were dead or fried. Think that was why it upset me most. Wish I had pictures. Youd be disappointed too.

The Rocklin store has friendly and very helpful personnel, its selection is amazing. While prices are not the lowest, quality is definitely the highest. All their plants are beautiful and they last.

Ive been to both Green Acres in Rocklin and Roseville- Both are great but this review is specifically directed at the indoor/house plant selection at the Rocklin store- It. Is. Awesome. They get plants that are very unique and hard to find other places. They get new plants in weekly, and I am always impressed. Theyve had pilea/Chinese money plants, silver dollar plants, huge variety of snake plants, different ferns, multiple varieties/colors of pothos and way more. Im always excited to see what theyve added to their inventory.

They have everything, almost.
