First off, its a beautiful store; a lot of merchandise, attractively displayed making it easy to find what I was looking for. I browsed around for several minutes happy to be among such a rich collection of tools, handy devices and materials. In front of the huge collection of hinges, I must have appeared lost. I heard a voice say, May I be of help? I responded yes and showed the person a broken version of what I needed. In a few moments my newest best friend said hed found the right hinge and also pointed out I would need a few additional small items to do the job right. When I got home I replaced the two hinges within a few minutes... and was very thankful for the added items I had been offered and took with me... a perfect fix for my cabinet. A great experience, this store was. Ill definitely be back!

1st time there, so interested in so many tools there. Greetings started just when entering. Great feeling to be greeted especially on 1st timer. Just hope I had more money to get me more stuffs. Great place.

I love this store. All the staff is super friendly and informative. The classes are great for beginners, and the instructors are pretty patient. They have some of the best equipment available for purchase and really try to keep a lot of sawstops and accessories in stock. Recently they’ve started to add some festool, but I wish there was a little more, woodcraft has a better selection, but they’re getting there! The wood options can be a little pricey, same with some of the hardware. But it’s a nice place to buy quality equipment or last minute speciality hardware. It’s fun just to walk around and look. The inventory tends to change a little every 6 months or so.

Im fairly new to woodworking, and after having 2 bad experiences out of 2 total at Woodcraft, I decided to visit Rockler for my latest need and so far so good. Better selection than woodcraft, they have a lot of things I havent seen anywhere else, and the employee I spoke to was friendly and helpful. Nice store.

I take the classes and they are super fun and COVID safe.

My rating is based on my only two visits to the Rockler store. The customer service is good with friendly staff. The stores overall selection is also very good. However on my most recent visit many items I wanted to purchase were out of stock. The staff informed me that the items were probably still in boxes in the back and said it would be hours before they could get to them. I drove over an hour each way to get to this store so from my perspective this was not what I wanted to hear. Again the overall number of items in this store is fantastic. The prices are crazy high on some things and decent on others. Right or wrong I always have my phone in hand to compare on-line prices for the same item from other sellers. Will I go back to Rockler? yes most likely but given the distance from Placerville CA to Rocklin CA only on rare occasions. Amazon (like it or not) and given my somewhat remote location is still my number on go to for most of my woodworking needs.

One of the many great things about shopping at Rockler is the extremely helpful staff. I was met at the door by a young man that walked me through the store making sure I found everything I needed. We talked about projects and techniques and things we had learned. I could have stayed all day but I was out of money.

I love Rockler! I have been a big fan of this store/brand/family for many years and this is why; I recently purchased a product online from amazon that was a Rockler brand item. When I assembled the item, I noticed a defective part. I called customer service and spoke with Gina. She was very kind and suggested calling the local store before going through the hassle of returning the item to Amazon. I called and spoke with Brad about my dilemma. He told me to come in to the store, and he would see what he could do. Long story short, Brad didnt have to fix the issue since the item wasnt purchased at his store, but he took care of me anyways. Rockler offers many application specific items you will not find at your local hardware store, or warehouse hardware store. They have a friendly knowledgeable staff and quality products at a fair price. Its hard for me to not leave without something each time I go.

Great inventory. My husbands new favorite store. They have hardwoods in stock along with unique finishing hardware items such as ornate knobs and pulls. This place has MANY items you cant find at the big box stores.

Love love love this store! I have shopped rockler online for years and was so excited to see a brick and mortar store near me. I was in the store for 2 plus hours asking a million questions. Rob was awesome and took the time to open packages on router bits and set them up to make sure I was getting exactly what I needed for my project. As a novice woodworker, im so excited to have a place I can go and actually ask questions and have a knowledgeable staff available to answer them. You wont find that in orange and blue. I witnessed people coming up with a variety of questions and a few returns for products that were done in a no hassle customer service oriented fashion. Very impressed, I will be back often.

6/11/18Just came back from the Rockler store in Rocklin with the intention of purchasing a new lathe, chuck and set of chisles. Was in the store for approximately fifteen minutes and finally walked out of the store empty handed. It seems that the staff was more interested in gabbing then making a sale.Sorry boys, Ill be taking my business elsewhere.
