Believe me, you will not find a better audiologist in this area! I have had a genetic hearing loss since the age of 8, and I have worked with several different audiologists. Tracy is awesome! She is extremely patient and kind and truly wants to help and make sure that you are getting the best assistance you need for your hearing loss. She will work with you as long as you need to make sure you are comfortable and that you can hear the best you can. What I also appreciate about her is that she never tries to sell you on anything but is willing to work with you. I already had an older pair of hearing aids when I first came to this center, and instead of trying to sell me or convince me I needed new ones, she was willing to work with what I had to help me hear the best I could, which was MUCH cheaper than buying a new pair of hearing aids. If you are looking for some help with your hearing loss, I strongly recommend this place! You wont regret it!

Gold Country Hearing has all of the newest technology and fitted me with some state of the art hearing aids. Tracy also explained all of my options in detail. When programming my aids for the first time she knew just the right volume and other settings for optimal hearing without making it too loud, which is very important. I highly recommend Gold Country Hearing!!

There are a lot of audiologist’s in our area, and I chose Gold Country Hearing after a lot of research. Specifically, I dealt with Dr. Tracy Volkman.I’m enthusiastic about this firm. They spent a lot of time determining exactly what I needed, and they really extended themselves to be sure I was absolutely satisfied with the hearing aids I ended up having. The level of concern and customer service was beyond anything I expected. This is a rare company, and it certainly deserves your consideration.There are good reasons to use an audiologist.I’ve bought two sets of hearing aids. The first was a set of Phonaks from Costco, the last was a set of Phonaks from Gold Country.“You get what you pay for” applies here. You pay more when you go to an audiologist, and you get more in return.With an audiologist, you get more personalized service from a more experienced hearing professional using more sophisticated examination equipment for a longer length of time. If you buy from Costco, you’ll save money but the service deteriorates if you don’t remain a Costco member.I can only guess about the hearing aid itself. I do know that large chains like Walmart can have items custom made for them that they sell for less than a competitor does. The same brand and model of coffee maker, for example, will sell for less than it does elsewhere because it has different quality components.I don’t know if this applies to Costco hearing aids, but I’m more confident about the product when I buy from an audiologist.

This is my third year of association with Gold Country/Rocklin. Service has always been top notch. If a hearing aid stops working, they always find time to see me quickly. Very acomodating and nice people to deal with.

Dr. Tracy Volkman conducted an extensive hearing test. She explained the pros and cons of different types hearing aides. She spent time explaining how to operate the hearing aides, the apps for the phone and making sure the programming was correct. I am happy with the whole experience.

Sutter recommended Dr. Volkman. I went to see her with my test results. We discussed my options. I chose the in the ear hearing aids.I called United Health Care and am waiting anxiously waiting to hear from them and pay and get the aidsMy appointment with Dr. was 11/06, it is now 11/14. Evidently I must pay first which I was ready to do but have to wait for United Health to contact me. So far no phone calls from United Health Care.Im ready!!!

My experience with Gold Country Hearing at their Rocklin location was excellent. Dr. Tracy was amazing and her knowledge was top notch! She explained everything thoroughly as we went through the process. After the hearing test, we went into her office and I was able to try on hearing aids that best fix my situation. I would give Dr. Volkman and her staff 6 stars if I could! My 93-year-old mother needed a hearing aid, and they let her test all kinds of high quality hearing aids until they found the perfect, custom solution for her. I cannot say enough great things about this place. My mother is super happy, because they had the kindness and patience to make sure she got the perfect solution for her. Thank you!

My daughter, who is 16, feels so comfortable and well taken care of at Gold Country Hearing. I met with Dr. Tracy Volkman today and have been going to Gold Country Hearing for more than one-year now. Every single visit is amazing. Ive been experiencing rapid hearing loss in my right ear, which is due to heredity. She did a hearing test today which reveals more loss. She graciously spent quality time checking and updating my hearing aids. And the test and spent time to discuss options. Appointments are not rushed, she is genuinely interested in helping people! This is a rare trait these days, I feel. I especially enjoy speaking with Ceil in the office, as well. It is always a very pleasurable experience & I would highly recommend them. My experience with Dr Volkman and her assistant, Cecile, has been marked by competence, professionalism and courtesy. I am using the Phonac Virto B-Titanium hearing aid and have only a free hearing aid from the Veterans Hospital to compare it with. The expense of Phonak technology has been worthwhile in spite of the financial challenge to my retirement income.

I was recently seen by Dr. Volkman for hearing aids. She was kind, patient, professional, and knowledgeable. When she moved her practice to Gold Country Hearing in Rocklin, I did not hesitate to follow her to the new location in order to continue being her patient. We have been clients of Tracy Volkman for several years. My husband has profound hearing loss. She has done an excellent job testing his hearing and fine tuning his aids so that he can be functional at work and enjoy life. Most hearing aid sellers are now hiring device technicians which may be ok for folks looking for a little more volume, but are insufficient for someone who struggles with speech recognition or hearing when there is background noise. (Note: other places dont test for these, but Gold Country does!) Tracy is audiologist and brings much more to the table in terms of skill and understanding. Also, the price we were quoted at Gold Country was about 20% less than their competitors.

I had dealt with the same audiologist and receptionist several years ago at a different location, so was pleasantly surprised when the VA referred me to their office, outside of the VA system, for a specialty hearing aid system. Their service is the highest quality and I highly recommend them.

I have to say this is by far the BEST experience ive had in all of my life!! Especially with my Hearing loss, i have been to Mc Donalds, bought 2 sets of Aids from them,only to be treated like i was a pain in the rear,all that after spending over $16k in 6 &1/2 years.Than i had an appt with Whisper only to be called the next day to be told they wouldnt make any ear molds for my used aids because i hadnt purchased them from Whisper.After going to appt and explaining my situation needing a repair and some molds made for some used aids i had and perhaps purchasing a new set from them,after the call from them informing me that they couldnt help me, i was again upset and frustrated and left with no help as my aids were broken.Than my sister finds Gold Country Hearing in Rocklin on a website and makes a call, gets me an appt .So i go, Wow let me tell you what Customer service is the Receptionist Ceil was awesome informed me of what she thought they could do and set me with another appt (perhaps they could repair my old ones and also give me a hearing test and make some adjustments) i was relieved someone actually listened to my needs and wants and was willing to have me come in for further information and to speak to Dr.Volkman (Tracey).Again i was greeted with a happy face and a smile from Ceil receptionist and i was late!! I couldnt believe it.I was expecting a snarl (everybody knows what i mean) when being late to the Dr. how your treated.So out comes Dr.Volkman and she is smiling im thinking to myself everybody is smiling, like they are happy to see you (nice) . So Tracey (Dr.Volkman) listens to my issues and my wants and needs and makes a few suggestions, she really cared about my past experiences from the other Hearing places, she made me comfortable and was quite knowledgeable with the used aids i had and was able to solve several of my problems and get a few of my aids back to working order just with her knowledge,and didnt even charge me!!.Now im going back for a hearing test so she can make some adjustments to my old aids and to make a couple of molds, This lady really knows her job and equipment she sells!!! Ive never been excited about a drs appt. But i am now and perhaps ordering a new set of aids at a fraction of what i paid before, and with a 3 year warranty and Customer service thats unheard of in this day and age.Trust me if you need anything in the Hearing aid dept. these 2 Ladies ROCK!!I looked up Customer service in the dictionary and there it was with a picture of these 2 wonderful caring People at Gold Country hearing in Rocklin Ca.
