Bottom line - great project results! The patio cover product is well designed, well-installed and adds a tremendous amount of aesthetic appeal and added comfort to our home. We are very happy! From Kevins initial engagement through to the installation - everything went very smooth. This included the interactions with our Homeowners Association and their stringent guidelines. When we started this venture, we planned on a simple latticed, open patio cover as we had never considered the option of a completely covered patio cover. We were worried about cost and light inside the house. Kevin initiated the idea and assuaged any concerns and did a very good job of selling us on the idea. We are very happy we went with the full covered patio as we will get far more use out of our backyard and the investment. Due to the height, the color of the structure and our position, we did not lose any inside view or light and the cost was not that much more. The install crew were very polite and clean. We definitely recommend Petkus Brothers!

Such a great experience from start to finish!! Petkus Brothers replaced 2 old wood patio covers with a beautiful large structure that wraps around the corner of the house. They diligently communicated every detail of the project with us and made sure we completely understood that what we were purchasing was exactly what we had envisioned. They seamlessly walked through the permit/inspection process with the city. Every interaction with their staff was pleasant and professional.We are thrilled with the finished product and would not hesitate to recommend Petkus Brothers to anyone looking for a contractor to complete a project at their home that will look beautiful for many years.

This is my worst experience doing business with Petkus Brothers. My final inspection didnt pass, and I tried to call the office more than seven times to request to call me back to solve the issue. Unfortunately, the owners, Dan and Kevin, and Ursa, the contractor inspection coordinator, had never returned my call for the reinspection arrangement last week. Instead, they cashed my final payment three weeks ago. This morning Ursa finally called back for scheduling reinspection this Friday; if we need reinspection again, there will be a fee to pay for the city. Why do I have to pay the additional fee? They must communicate with the city planning/building department to clear up the discrepancy to avoid the extra fee. This contractor is unresponsible and nonresponsive. I am frustrated with Petkus Brothers!

Poor followup, Kevin the owner seemed knowledgeable and respectful but no follow up and no estimate received despite my reminder emails and calls.

Petkus Brothers did a great job! I had a cement slab and patio cover replaced. Scott came and provided the estimate. I appreciate his honesty in providing and recommending the best route for what I was trying to accomplish. The workers from Thomas’s Concrete are craftsmen. Pouring concrete is laborious job and it was nice to see that they took pride in their work. The cement is beautiful! James, the patio installer was wonderful. His attention to detail and desire to do things right and with quality was much appreciated. My one negative would be the lack of communication when you are in the “waiting for your turn” mode. Delays are inevitable but I would have appreciated some kind of an idea of an install dates without having to call and ask. Overall is was a good experience and I would recommend and use Petkus Brothers again.

Petkus Brothers (PB) earned their five star rating for the design and build our patio cover. Our process began with PB listening to what we were looking for and providing knowledgeable feedback to create our design. From Buzzy’s initial design to the final contracted design PB was open and responsive to the design changes that evolved with other aspects of our whole project. The construction crew was professional, knowledgable and took great care to protect all areas of previous construction. Kevin oversaw the project and worked directly with us to ensure the patio cover was completed as agreed and expected. Success!! I would definitely use PB again.

We had a beautiful patio cover designed and built by Petkus Brothers several years ago. It is massive and extremely well built and we just love it. This pas summer we had an issue with wildlife chewing through some wiring on top of the patio cover. We call Petkus Brothers and they sent someone out to take a look. In the end they worked with us to resolve the issue even though it has been 8 years since it was install. Thank you Petkus Brothers!!5 Stars!!

The bid process was quick and efficient. Price was very fair. I checked it with my contractor brother and he fully agreed. When same brother saw the structure in person, he was very impressed with the workmanship and the quality of the materials. It took a little longer than expected to get it scheduled, but once started, they worked very quickly and efficiently, andwere very tolerant of my multitude of questions. The job was finished in about two days. I couldnt be happier with the outcome. All my friends are so impressed with my new backyard. I have a totally functional, gorgeous outdoor entertaining space now. Wish I had done this years ago.

I would not give them any star. I just had a patio project with them. I am not happy the way they did the work. First of all, they took 3 months to do the work. while they do the work in your patio they leave all their tools, machines, ladders etc.. in a unsafe manner. If you have kids be ware when they work. They had promised to paint my patio pillar same as my house color, but at the end they did not know what color was it and they paint some different color. They had promised to put a light in my patio in a separate switch, but when they did they connected to a switch in my house that I do not want to do. Overall I had very bad experience. Be careful with them and write-down everything what you need. They might have done very good work for others, I read some of their good reviews and decided to hire them. But what I found out that they are not good at all. I do not recommend them and suggest to be very careful when hiring them

We have extended our usable home space by adding this awesome patio cover. We are outside everyday. Without the cover I’m sure we would be inside a lot more. The product quality, installation and craftsmanship is spot on. We added two electrical outlets that they installed with no problems. We just should have added one more. :)We went with the solid roof option as a safety option because we are in a two story and if needed.They installed our fan which is perfect and color matched everything.Stone work was meticulously done and they matched the puller tips with our pool decking. Great crew and quick install! I would definitely recommend them. Family own business that’s been around for years! 👍🏻👍🏻

The Petkus Brothers installed a 300 sqft hybrid four season sunroom for us about a year ago. In general, the workmanship is first rated. They were flexible and willing to accommodate our requests. There were some touch up work/fixes that needed to be done, and the customer department has been responsive. There was some water leak but Kevin Petkus took care of us before the raining season hit. He helped arrange exterior fixes during a time he was experiencing a shortage of manpower because of COVID. Sitting under the rain right now and knowing that the leak has been fixed I cant help but write an honest review to thank the man, Kevin Petkus, that stands by his promise. Also a shout out to Buzzy for all the help before, during, and after the construction of the sunroom!

Petkus Brothers was able to successfully navigate the challenges of staying in compliance with our Home Owners Association. From day one, Kevin (owner) was attentive, available, and creative. I really love the sunroom that Petkus Brothers put in for me. It is very high quality and they were great about keeping the work area clean. I keep the house open to the sunroom most days unless it is above 90 degrees. It makes the house more airy and light and the windows do a good job of keeping the heat out. Im really glad I had Petkus Brothers do my sunroom. I would do it again 😃

We had an awning installed above our deck. Everyone that came to our home (Mark, Todd and James) were professional and experienced. Weve had siding, interior remodeling, a patio cover, a brick porch front and sun room done by Petkus Brothers high end professional staff. They stand behind their work and we have zero complaints.Last fall, we had a carport installed onto our garage to match our existing front porch. It turned out so well we were thrilled. Everything Petkus has done for us is quality work.Keith, Dan, and Kevin are sincere, honest people, interested in your satisfaction with the work they do for you.We cant recommend this amazing company highly enough. Would never do business or recommend Petkus to anyone! Had a terrible experience with a kitchen remodel. After contract signed, customer service is non-existent. A job that was planned for 3 weeks took 3 months & everything had to be redone because of all sub par work. Turns out some electrical was not up to code. Kevin the owner NEVER calls you back or keeps you apprised of status. Still waiting for them to resolve issue 3 months after contacting them.

Please read prior negative reviews before signing with Petkus Bros. We had a great experience with them doing our patio about 9 years ago. Recently we decided to get a pool and wanted to upgrade the patio. After signing, we experienced bad communication with them. They were not returning phone calls as well as not communicating with our pool contracters. We ended up having to have our pool contracters do most of the work we had signed for Petkus Bros to do. Eventually, several missed calls lead and bad communication led to my columns being painted the wrong color and u hate them. When this was expressed to them i got nothing with more calls unreturned. Today, they have yet to get me what i need. I even asked to just get the color and id paint it myself, but still no return call. This is a warning to everyone considering Petkus Bos. Be careful.

Petkus brothers installed a patio cover for us. The building inspector required some changes. Multiple phone calls and requests to have the work done according to the building inspector have gone unanswered.Phone calls are met with I’ll take care of it and then we never hear again. The owners have contacted me and are following up on the corrections. They were fully concerned about the lack of communication regarding this issue.

Our original sunroom was built by Petkus Bros. in the late 1990s.Over time, the seals on the overhead windows deteriorated to a point that they could not be repaired. Petkus Bros. proposed a new, solid roof with gutters and downspouts. The room is now updated and looks fantastic.Couldnt be happier on our choice of contractor and style.

In the fall of 2017 I had a patio cover installed by Petkus Brothers. To say that I am pleased with it is an understatement! I had considered this project for several years but I didnt feel confident with the other contractors I considered. When Kevin Petkus came to do an estimate, I was instantly convinced that he knew what he was doing and that I could trust him with my business. Kevin was a pleasure to work with and addressed all my concerns. The installer did a terrific job. I wish I had done it sooner.

Our patio cover was just finished this week. Slight delay because of the weather & permit process took 4 weeks, but its the best check I ever wrote. The bid was very fair and the materials and installer were stellar! The only draw back was the wiring for the fan. The salesman didnt notice our crawl space was inaccessible for the installer. Had to be done differently than quoted. James, our installer, was amazing. He thinks things through and made excellent suggestions.

They were very patient and always professional. The small changes we asked for were easily accommodated. They worked around our schedules at every step. I had two awnings out up in my back patio. Kevin Petkus came out gave me a quote, with in a week the crew of four came out and within 5 hours my awnings were up. To all, the dura wood framing is the way to go. It looks like real wood but it is aluminum. It will last my lifetime. Im so pleased with this addition, I should have done it long ago.Im very pleased. We met Buzzy in the Petkus Brothers booth at the Sacramento Home Improvement Show at CalExpo this past January 2019. I told him we were looking to replace our wood patio with a modern, aluminum version. I liked that they are a well and long-established business with an excellent reputation. He and his staff are very professional and friendly. They eventually visited our patio and took measurements. We ordered a snow white aluminum patio with the fully insulated roof and added two large fans with LED lights. It turned out excellent..a true stunner. We get compliments all the time. With the insulated roof, one can instantly feel noticeably cooler air under the patio roof on sunny days. Despite the heavy downpour of rain we had today (May 19, 2019), the roof was water-tight/ leak-proof. We are very pleased and would buy from Petkus Brothers again. Thank you Buzzy and Petkus Brothers.

Very quick to respond to estimate resquest. We were told that we would have the estimate and design within a week. After two weeks we left a message with the company receptionist, as we had no response to our multiple calls to the estimator . Finally reached the estimator after three weeks, who then promised to get back to us. Still nothing. We are moving on.

Communication was not clear; at times not responsive which didnt help me feel confident about their overall profesionalism. More explicit communication with the paver and electrician wouldve helped too so that the electrical didnt end up protuding so far out from the pergola. The quote for the electrical was never mentioned until after the job was completed. Nevertheless the structure itself is beautiful and the guy who installed it was very thoughtful.

When we removed a tree that was growing into our pool equipment, we were left with little to no shade and a backyard that was unbearably hot in the summer months.Kevin from Petkus Brothers came out for a free consultation and designed a patio cover that would give us some shade but not block our view. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and was not pushy like some sales people can be. We scheduled an installation with him and within weeks we had a new patio cover.The installer, James, was also friendly and knowledgeable and made Kevins design a reality in only one day. To our surprise, our patio cover not only provided us the shade we were looking for-- but it formalized our patio into a beautiful backyard living area. We now spend much more time outside. Petkus did an awesome job in building my sunroom but this firm has many flaws. I actually wanted to give 1 Star but then cannot discredit the workmanship of people that put it together.1. Salesmanship is awesome and Mark did an awesome job. He is very detailed which was missing from all the other companies. One thing everyone should note to put everything Mark says in the contract. Petkus is yet to follow thru in his promises.2. Horrendous customer service. They finished my room in March and till date after 7 PHONE CALLS they have not followed up in cleaning up their mess (cleaning my yard with the materials, broken cement, broken sprinkler heads and sunroom door issues to name the few)If u are taking a loan then DO NOT pay them in advance. Kevin PetKus, one of the owner might sweet talk into it but please do no fall for his explanation. I did and that is why they are now IGNORING ME TO FINISH UP my work.

Keith Petkus came out to our house for a estimate on a sunroom, however we had a failure in communication and we didnt get the follow through we expected. He did call and has been very willing to work with us.
