I very seldom give a 5 star rating as anyone who reads my ratings on businesses knows. The Discount Auto Parts store in Rockport, TX was awesome. The clerk assistance was 2nd to none. The trailer harness on my pickup truck needed to be replaced. I knew that it clipped on & clipped off but I couldnt figure out to unclip it from my truck. The clerk didnt hesitate to craw under my pickup & unclip the wiring harness on my pickup for me. Anyone that has lived in Rockport, TX is fully aware the City police & the Aransas County police & the State Police & the TX Parks & Wildlife State police have offices & officers in Rockport, TX. These law enforcement officers take traffic stops to a much higher level than some of the surrounding towns. When you drive in Rockport, TX drive safe, drive the proper speed limits & make sure all of the signals & light are properly working. I was able to pick up a new wiring harness for my pickup the next morning. Thank you to the clerk/technician that helped me out.

Went to help a customer out. Bought a throttle body for $250. Installed it and it was defeated out of the box. Went back to get it under warranty and was laughed at. Told me I was dumb for installing it and that electrical parts have no warranty! How? Why!? They have cheap parts, no warranty, and the guy I spoke to was very unprofessional. If you travel and your part fails you are S. O. L. At least OReilly and AutoZone have NATION WIDE WARRANTIES!
