I stopped by for seed beads. They carry Miyuki and the owner was friendly and helpful with ideas for my project. The selection was very good, especially considering the pandemic supply chain issues. Ill be going back for sure.

They repaired two bracelets for me. Did a good job.

An extensive selection of beads, but not very useful for my purposes. I mainly make beaded figurines with consistently sized bicone beads, which I could not find there. I am mostly impressed with their seed bead selection and would go there for seed beads. The lady who helped me was very nice and helped me find seed beads of a certain color. Note they do not accept credit cards for purchases less than $10. Also, they do not accept returns or exchanges.

The staff is knowledgeable and welcoming. They have a nice selection of beads, metals, gemstone and glass. You can also take classes, which are offered in a room off the main sales floor. I enjoyed shopping there so much, I returned for more a week later!

Very little left of the former fabulous bead store. 1/4th of the original space. Good for a few focus pieces or stone beads, but not worth the hour and a half trip from us.

If you havent been here in a while, like me, expect a shock upon entry. The bulk of the space is now divided off and dedicated to one of a kind glass bongs. The space is maybe 1/3 the size it once was. The pearl selection is equally diminished. But the walls are still covered in strings of semi-precious stones, and they have all the findings you could possibly want and when you plan to affix crystal beads to a dress, they know which needle you need.

Hard to find bead shop as it is upstairs next to a glass shop but excellent selection of pearls, gemstones, seed beads and findings. I enjoy the classes they offer and appreciate the longer hours the store is open making it possibly for those in VA to commute there on a weeknight. The trunk shows there are amazing and they have a great selection of seed beads.

Great collection of seed beads in size 11/0 if youre looking for this! Range of prices, but plenty of standard and in-between colours for less than the chain arts and crafts stores :)

This is a wonderful, comprehensive bead shop. The staff really are helpful and patient, and have experience with the products so they steer you in the right direction while not cramping your style. They offer many different classes and have a bring your own beads night where you can work on projects using the staff and equipment. Highly recommended if you want to embrace your creativity.

Staff was busy with another customer when we came in, but were very attentive and apologetic once they were free. They helped us dig through an enormous pile of loose crystal to help me find a single rare bead to match the one I had. They have also called me to let me know when other stuff I had wanted was back in stock.

They sell CBD! Ive been a long time patron of the now next-door Virtue Flameworks and Glass- since three shop locations ago- and as a CBD industry veteran I can proudly say that Accents on Beads has fully tested and compliant products that are tasty to boot. Make sure to give the new shop cats a pet or three for me when you stop in.

When mel owned the shop it was the bomb, you name it he had it to the point the store was expanded, no competition could match his shop......now most unique beads are history, much smaller selection, hate to see a dynast reduced to just another small bead store.

I visited this afternoon in hopes of purchasing beads, tools, and materials. A good friend of mine suggested I visit because they have crystal beads. Not only was I not greeted by the staff after I made eye contact and smiled, but no one bothered to ask if I needed any help, even after noticing I was having a hard time searching. Their loss. I was ready to spend a good amount on beads for my jewelery business.

This place is a shell of what it formally was. I hadnt been in a few months. Walked in to see that half of the building was now a smoke or vape shop. Still had a lot of seed beads though.

Agree with Connie. Used to be wonderful. Now boring - limited selection, high prices, even the staff is not helpful any longer. Asked for a specific item and was told it is not available. Found it while browsing. :-(

Not worth the trip! Not much there!I do not like online shopping but l may have to resort to that rather then take a trip only to find nothing!
