We needed black out drapes for a bedroom, where it was so bright that every morning felt like waking up on the surface of the sun. Mill End is just great, from fabric selection to measuring to advising to installation - it was a wonderful experience. Friends who come over have walked up to the drapes - (everyone wants to feel the fabric) and said This is so beautiful. We first spoke to Lydia who came over to our home with lots of sample books based on what we talked about on the phone. She was great, really took her time to see what would work and what our style was. We really wanted to keep sheers we bought years ago in Europe and Lydia worked that out easily - she found a way to adapt them to fit American hardware and didnt try to push us to buy some new ones which was cool. Then Elliot came out to measure - he is phenomenal and really knows his stuff about all aspects of the business, as well as having an artistic eye. When everything was ready (it took some time, but that is understandable nowadays, and it was worth the wait). Darren came out to do the install which he amazingly did by himself, with double rods. Hes a lovely man, a real gentleman. We have one regret - that we didnt do this sooner - and now we sleep so much better! Mill End will be the only shop we use from now on, highly recommend.

Ive been a Mill End customer for many years. My most recent experience was having a favorite chair, 35 years old, reupholstered. Mill End picked up my chair, did beautiful work, and delivered it back to us in even better shape than when it was new. THANK YOU. Im looking forward to many more years of enjoying my new chair.

What a wonderful experience with Mill End Shops. Lydia was amazing to work with. She took such care. My husband is retired and physically challenged and he spend 85% of his day on the sofa. Lydia requested that the fabric be reinforced with a backing to give strength and longevity to the absolutely beautiful sofa. Our new drapes and Darren that hung them took such pride in his work. Mill End Shops is a fabulous company that reupholstered my very old sun damaged chairs. They have tons of gorgeous quality fabrics and Lorraine is a wonderful design expert who I worked with. My chairs were picked up from my home and delivered soon after looking brand new! Elliot and Mill End staff are great I will be back soon!!!

It is a lovely shop with many selections to choose from. I had such a pleasant experience with everyone from the sales person in the store to the upholster to delivery.  It was very easy and I am very happy with the final product.  They did an excellent job.  I had my dining room chairs done and they were a gift from my mother-in-law.  Even she approved and had her sofa done with Mill End Shops.  I would recommend them to anyone.

Elliot at Mill End Shops was so very kind and helpful and spent the time to ensure I had the proper knowledge to get my curtains perfect. He really went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. Even from the very beginning when I called to ask about the store hours, he was so nice. He asked my name and greeted me when I entered the store. You can tell he takes pride in his business and will make sure you are satisfied before you leave. Elliot was a pleasure to deal with and a gentleman; the work was very good and the installer was very good (Chris); however, the time frame to complete the project was a little to long in my opinion, but overall I would use them again as Mill End has done almost my entire home with custom made treatments.

I couldnt be more pleased! I inherited the chairs from my aunt who loved art and antiques and Mill End came up with a wonderful choice that suited the rooms decor and honored her spirit. They did an expert job with the upholstery and matched the pattern to the shape of the chairs perfectly. I am very very happy with their work and would use them again.
