I stopped in to buy a few items at the coin counter. The Young guy who assisted me was knowledgeable but at the same time didnt look to eager to help me. Instantly got a bad vibe from the guy & I did not feel very welcome. I felt a lot like a burden..... Maybe I asked him way too many questions? I have been selling coins to Jay and his team for about ten years and I have never had any issues. They are very knowledgeable and honest. I think most of the bad reviews posted are because of unrealistic expectations of the sellers and not understanding the values of their coins. People will see there coin in a retail value price guide and expect a dealer to pay them that for it. The dealer has to make a profit so he has to buy at a wholesale dealer to dealer price so anyone serious about selling coins should look a the Greysheet wholesale price guide.

In United States anyone can buy coins. Silver gold etc. Hoobiest to pro. Everyone sells at their choice of price . Bottom line no one gets their right price when it comes to sell. I look at this silver eagles. I buy and they sell me accordingly to year and price of silver some are low mint. But at the same time if I sell to them the same coin and same year they will not give me the money worthed for that low minted year. But instead only whats silver is worthed.Coins of the realm sells u by the year and silver market price. And they buy from u only whats the silver market price. (Doesnt matter if that silver eagle had 300.000 minted) u loose they win

This is probably my favorite coin shop in Maryland. The staff is very knowledgeable about coins, I would recommend asking for Jay. The coins are very fair priced and I couldnt ask for more.

The amount they offered was less than 3% of the total value that the coin is valued by NGC. This coin is certified by NGC and was valued more than 7000% higher. They say they are a authorized NGC dealer. I am serious this happened to me just today at the coin shop.
