Consistently the WORST service department. 3+ hours for a simple oil change. You would think an 8:00 appointment would allow you speedy turnaround time, however it did not. At 10:00 I was told they just finished the oil change and provided a list of other services needed on my car. Apparently my brand new wipers needed replacing and my tire which has less than 4000 miles on it is in need of a replacement. Dont waste your time with these absolute clowns. I bought the car here and only ever get it serviced here and it is the most consistent bad experience. The guys at the desk are at least nice and understanding, however the service garage is the slowest I have ever seen. Stay away, they do not care about your time.

I had a wonderful experience purchasing my Mazda cx-30 from this dealership. Kelvin was our salesman and he was excellent! He helped us with all our questions and was super kind, patient, honest, and knowledgeable! When we arrived, the car was already fully washed and had a full gas tank waiting for us. He spent time showing us the car and walking us through the different features of the vehicle. I 100% recommend him if you are looking for a new car. Everyone was very friendly and would definitely go back to get our next car there.

Ourisman Mazda was efficient and speedy to work with when I was a potential customer interested in leasing a car, but now that I have a lease with the dealership, I have repeatedly found it impossible to get in touch with a person to get information on my protection plan or other information requested. The dealership sends you in a circle of voicemails or non-responses, which each person forwarding you to another contact who then does not reply to voicemails. Some of the worst customer service I have experienced in years.

Worst car buying experience I ever had. We drove 5 hrs to test drive a used car. We came early so we could take it to another dealership to have it inspected. It was known we were coming. We get there and the car is not ready. They said the car needed new tires so they were going to replace them. My thought was this should have been done before we got there. The wheels were off the car. We asked them to put them back on so we can get it in for inspection. They did and we got it inspected. There were a few issues. One of the issues was rather costly. We negotiated the repairs and cost of the vehicle. We were very satisfied with that part - reason for the 2 stars. We got through the finance and was being pressured into buying extras which we didnt want after explaining this numerous times. It appeared there was an attitude when we left. We traded our car in that had a balance. We noticed the bank was slow to remove the loan. We got calls from the bank asking for the payment. We reached them and was told the bank rejected the payment and we needed to sign some forms. We asked to see if we could do digital signatures. We were told yes. We never got the call or email to get this resolved. We called numerous times and no real actions. I finally reached the right person and we found it should have been with another department. We found it was received by the bank early in the week. We were lied to the entire time. This payment was over a month after we traded the car in. This should not have taken this long. I am enjoying the car but I would not recommend this dealership.

Purchase 2007 Jetta - drove home from dealership and interior began ripping. Return to dealership to have it fixed as promised and was told they could not fix it. New interior would cost me an out of pocket expense. Jordan/Salesman and Shane/Sales Manager were unprofessional and disrespectful.

My husband and my experience at Ourisman VW is 5-star. We went to look at a hard-to-find Arteon. The color they had was not what I wanted. Our salesman, Brian Vo, listened to my desire and went to work to try and get me what I wanted from another dealer. Working together with the Sales Manager, I got what I wanted! Brian even went a picked up the vehicle for us! Way beyond customer service. Brian, Matt (the Sales Manager), and Luke the finance Manager worked together to get the best car, at the best price, with the best interest rate. Cannot recommend this dealership enough. Brian made sure we understood our new vehicle and made sure we had everything we needed. Great job, Team Ourisman VW.

Bought a new mazda 3 turbo.Tried to charge me close to $400 for nitrogen filled tires.(despite Mazda TSB 00-001/21 recommending against it)Failed to send in my payoff check for vehicle I traded in.Failed to submit MVA paperwork.Cannot reach anyone at the dealership unless I hide my caller ID. I.E. Call several times with no answer, hide my ID, call again, they pick up on the first ring. Has happened multiple timesUpdate:Been about a month since Ive bought this car. Still no registration. Contacted Mazda corporate, dealership even refuses to call corporate back.Had gas door cover replaced under warranty, painted a noticable different color. Refused to correct it. Got corporate involved on this as well. Dealership offered to try again even though they claimed it would take a whole quarter panel respray to make it match. Nah bud.Second update: 8 months after purchase, still no tag transfer paperwork or new registration. General manager has stopped responding to emails/calls

Do NOT waste your time coming to this dealership. My husband and I came in on April 2020 and purchased a 2020 MAZDA3. The initial purchase wasn’t the best experience, due to us being promised a 0% interest rate. That was the special offer they had at the time, so we didn’t think of it twice and began the process. They later mentioned that we qualified for a 2.25 interest rate, which was not what we agreed on. The finance manager at the time made it seem like she was doing us a favor by getting us that rate. We were getting ready to leave and then magically they made the 0% available to us. After a couple a months or so, the car key was not being recognized inside the vehicle so we had to transport it to Mazda and they told us we’d have to wait to get it fixed. We requested a rental vehicle in the meantime since we had to leave the car for a few days. They said it’s not their responsibility, although I had just purchased the car… they ended up giving me a car after an hour discussing it. We were able to pay the car off on June of this year, but the financing company tried to tell us it made no sense doing so. All we wanted was to pay off the car, but they kept questioning it? We paid off the car and went in person and spoke to Dan Leithauser and he mentioned he would submit the paperwork for the refund of our GAP insurance. Today we find out it was NEVER submitted. This has been the worse dealership ever and I am so glad we do not have to deal with them anymore (HOPEFULLY ). Do not waste your time at this location.

We should’ve known we would continue to have issues post sale. During the sale, we were held up for 3 hours with their financing person who tried to build in their extended warranty without explicitly asking us first, directed us to ‘put a nail in our tires’ every year to get our money’s worth and would not answer our questions directly. Luckily we opted for our own financing which we believe to be part of the issues we are still experiencing today due to retaliation. We purchased the vehicle on 7/5, today is 9/4 and we still do not have an answer as to why our bank has not been added to the title as the lien holder. We also purchased the vehicle with the agreement the dealership would fix a broken part. We have been told after multiple attempts to email and call Sales and Managers that 1. They do not have our bank information to add them as the lien holder (we gave them this information during the sale and our bank sent them the check directly) 2. They haven’t received the clear title from the previous owner 3. They requested we send another picture of the damage that existed during the purchase because they ‘lost’ the information. We had to drive the hour back to the dealership today because we were notified yesterday that our tags came in and our temporary tags expire today. Still no answers on the title status nor the part to be fixed.

I had nothing but a pleasant experience buying from Mazda of Rockville. Initially, there was a back and forth negotiation via email for the best price for a CX-30 and we came to an agreement. I drove all the way to MD from VA to purchase my new car. Loc, the manager greeted us warmly and Ryan sat us down right away and we started to do the paperwork. They gave me the price that we discussed as promise and there was no added hidden fees or anything like that. The whole process was smooth as Ryan guided us through every step. I am very happy with my purchase and awesome customer service from Ryan and Loc. I got a great price and great service, thank you!

Do. Not. Go. Here. Just dont. Unless youre prepared to overpay or deal with the horrible attitude from the manager when they cant meet your terms, dont buy your car here.Last night I came here with my boyfriend and was pre-approved by capital one for a cx-5 touring for $30,350. The salesman was very nice and was very helpful with the models I test drove. When I decided to move forward to negotiations, they appraised my car before giving me an offer. The offer has several problems with it:1) the msrp listed was $31,700 and nobody could give me an answer whatsoever as to why they could not honor my capital one pre-approved offer.2) they appraised my car for $2,000 but then added a market-markup of $1995 to the total, canceling out the value of my trade in.3) the final price of their initial offer was almost $35,000 after trade in.I gave the salesman a firm, out the door price. The manager came back and said the best he could do was just shy of $2000 over my firm offer. I refused and asked for my keys back. It took over 20 minutes for my salesman to come back with another offer that was still $700 over my firm offer. At this point I again showed them my capital one offer and again got silence as a response, no explanation as to why they would not take it. They instead proceeded to ask how much I was putting down, and when I gave them that information they instantly agreed to my firm offer (I did not understand how that made a difference whatsoever but I went with it). About ten minutes later the manager came back again and tried to get me to split the $700 over my firm offer and I refused. It was at that point the manager gave me an absolutely horrible attitude. He slapped his hand on the table, no longer bothering to look me in the eye when he walked away and I asked him for my car keys back.

It is interesting to note that when I called the Phone number listed on the Volkswagen Service advertisement flyer that the first automated choice is for Mazda service press 1 Volkswagen customers relegated to choosing 2. Eventually I reached a person who turned out to be a receptionist, who then transferred me to the service department person who also turned out to be receptionist who assigned me to a service advisor. That person scheduled a service appointment for an oil change for the following afternoon at an appointed time (very good). I then learned that I could not wait for the oil change ( which takes about an hour) because the service does not take place at the appointed time (the inference that it would be done at a later date). When asked about a appointment time for an oil change while I wait, I was told I could get an appointment about 10 days later. I suspect there are serious management problems here.

Came to the service center with a car problem. The car was not fixed. Not only that, they diagnosed less of the problem than I did myself with a $20 OBDII dongle from Amazon. Charged me for the privilege, offered to charge me more to do more diagnostics, and didnt even wash my car like they promised.This was some months ago now, and I wouldnt have even bothered to come here and leave this review, but they also put me on a spam email list, sending me their ads only to remind me of the terrible service I received and prompt me to write this review.

Great place to do business, very people oriented. They are ready to work with you and understand your needs and limitations. I appreciated Ryans attentiveness to understand what I needed in a car as well as budget limitations. He was really determined to make it work and made his best efforts to meet and exceed my expectations in terms of the specific features I value in a car. He also communicated well with finance representative Tim to convey financial limitations and work on loan terms that were within reach and without hurting my pocket both in the short and long run. I experienced a seamless transition from sales representative Ryan to finance representative Tim, who was also great to work with. He was knowledgeable, patient, and thorough; actively contributing helpful insight to assist in the decision making process in order to avoid unexpected surprises in the future. A great experience overall. I arrived at 7:30 AM and the team was waiting for me - they opened the garage - I drove in and they confirmed why I was there and then they took my car and called me several hours later and voila! This is the worst possible place to get your volkswagen service done do not go there or they will scam you out of money the charged me 500 bucks just for an oil change. Told me my tires were old and i needed to change them then when i told them i dont want to change them yet they told me they are going to brust on the next pothole i hit my car after service had tire air pressure light on and when i had it checked at AAA they said the air pressure was higher about 10 psi on both my rear tires. In short dont go there

We have been following up on cancellation of the vehicle warranty for the past three months and the form hasn’t reached past the accounting department. I am 100% confident they ain’t getting anymore business from me and my friends/family.

I will never be back. I recently purchased a used VW and it needed a part installed. I asked the price for labor since I already knew the cost of the part. I checked online and saw that the labor timeframe was 3 hours. I was told that the labor time would be 4.5 hours and over 850 dollars for labor alone. When I asked why so long since online it said it needed 3 hours max and was told because there is a “cool down phase”? So I’m paying labor rates for my car to cool down? Something didn’t seem right so I called KING VW and was told labor time of 3.5 hours and total labor cost of 430 dollars. I will never be back and will only be going to king since they are not into highway robbery. You all are not heart surgeons. That’s not fair and since you all don’t have any integrity I will not be back again. Inflation at its finest!

I got a call from the dealership asking if I wanted to bring my Mazda 3 in to address an outstanding recall. I was able to get an appointment scheduled for the next week. When I pulled up to the service center they promptly checked me in and called me a few hours later saying the work was done and also mentioned some other issues they noticed. When I picked up the car they gave me a detailed checklist that outlined what had been done and the other items they recommend getting addressed. Overall a very satisfactory experience.

I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation two weeks ago for today (8/6). I had a scheduled appointment for 7 AM. When I made the appointment, the young lady was very helpful and I explained to her that I did not need a courtesy vehicle or a drop off as I was going to wait for my Passat because I needed to go to work directly following the appointment. I arrived this morning to be asked When do you need your car, I explained, that I would be waiting on it because again, I needed to go to work. The appointment was input as a drop off. This was correctly quickly and then we moved forward. I was told that it would take 2-2.5 hours to complete an oil change, tire rotation, and multipoint inspection. For starters, I am not sure as to why it would take 2-2.5 hours to complete such a service nor was that explained to me on the telephone. My local VW dealer takes an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes max to complete the exact same service (I know this because I just had it done 3 months ago). When I questioned why it took so long the service advisor continued to explain to me about the multipoint inspection. Clearly, anyone who works (which doesnt seem to be many people now a days) dont have the luxury to sit and wait for 2.5 hours when they need to go to work. I then proceeded to decline the services and asked to have my car brought back around. I had to ask repeatedly to have my car brought around while everyone looked at me as if I had three heads. This is not the first issue that I have had with this place. I will not return to Ourisman for anything, ever.

This is the dealership I can never recommend. It was by far the worst dealership. They provided me with the worst service. They kept changing words to earn extra thousands of dollars from me, despite finishing the contract. When I dealt to buy a vehicle with a sales manager, Tarique, he offered to help me with $2500 as a condition to trade my car. However, when they couldnt sell it in the market, they charged me $3200 and overturned all the deals a month later. They didn’t check with the loan financing company when I was signing my contract and used the balance amount of my leasing account instead of payoff amount on a trade-in paper. Informing me way too late for me to cancel the contract at all, I was forced to just sign the contract that I never agreed with and wanted, Tarique kept on repeating that he is trying to just help me and save me money. He almost threatened me and said I will not win even when I bring my lawyer with me. Tarique was talking in an aggressive tone and I had to just ask him to get his boss, Loc, who I was able to talk to and find a midpoint in this situation. Please be suspicious of them, when they say good things. I hope you are seriously considering whether to bring a lawyer with you when you go this dealership or save your time/trip and never go to this dealership.They stole my time and my money. I strongly recommend that you don’t go to this dealership. Just do test driving, just do checking market value in this dealership.

Ryan was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. He showed us everything there was to know about the car. Laura in Finance was very helpful and nice as well. A great place to buy a car! I’ve had my fair share of horror stories dealing with car dealerships, and let me say, Ourisman Mazda of Rockville did not disappoint. Literally everyone there is super nice to me even after buying my car. Patrick was a great salesman who was very knowledgeable, polite, and welcoming which is why I bought my car from them. I received a great deal for my Mazda 3 and I can honestly say that I don’t have any regrets. Habib and Rick were also great in the buying process. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Patrick Yuen was our sales contact and he was very genuine. I have had many experiences with different sales folks, and Patrick made me feel comfortable. It was easy to ask him questions, negotiating prices and assisting in the overall experience. We had the pleasure of working with Bill (Manager) as well. He was strict but polite and reasonable with his offer. Happy to say we were able to make a deal and walk out with a car that we love. I haven’t been to the Ourisman VW service since I had warranty service for my GLI, what deterred me from returning was the attitude that I was presented with the drop off and pickup after the service work was completed. I only returned for a mistake that I made that was a quick and easy fix. I dropped off my car in the service center and was directed to Cortley. Now grant you I still did get treat by other service advisors there like I was a child that didn’t comprehend anything. After addressing my concerns to Cortley he went over everything with me including the charge for the repair and wait time. I waited roughly 2 hours for everything to be taken care of, he called me once things were completed and went through the multi point inspection with me and had me on my way. Not only was he friendly and courteous through the whole process, he took care of the specifics that I wanted completed and I appreciate that. But again I won’t be returning just for the simple fact of the treatment others provide towards me. Hopefully things will change there but I’m not too sure if they will.

They gave me an estimate of when the car would be ready and called with an update. The service was finished on time and the car was washed and ready for me when I arrived. Also on completion he explained what needs to be done for the next service. Good overall improvement from the last time my previous vehicle was serviced at this dealership about 5 years ago.

I really had a great experience at oursiman Mazda of Rockville. I went to many dealerships and really felt they cared about my safety, budget, and what I was looking for in a car. Buying a car can be very stressful as it’s hard to find people to trust. Tom, the general manager, was great to work with. Ray, the sales consultant, was also great to work with. One thing I also liked was that he followed up but was not annoying like some other dealers I’ve gone to who call about 5-6 times a day while I’m at work. Overall, great experience and I would go back for future purchases.

I had my eyes set on a used Volkswagen car after months of research and searching far and wide, not just limited to my area in Philadelphia. TrueCar had helped whittle down the cars enabling me to see any nonsensical dealer fees before hand.Ourisman VW had a good price listed, a clean car record and a in good shape vehicle. I had come all the way out there in the sticks to see this car so you know it was more than a hunch dependent upon the staff/ pricing. The inspection/ test drive went well and the salesman was actually relatable and knowledgeable about Volkswagen as he himself owned two in his family. The business formality process also went well and not too long later, well maybe not short while later I had my keys to my Volkswagen a happy customer. I have to give a shoutout specifically to my guy Cortley Chu and his coworkers Ali Hatam and Haseeb in finance. These guys own or are actually in Volkswagens, European cars so they “get it”.

We went into the dealership and were met and greeted by Christian. Straight away we let him know that we were in the DC area for vacation and that we were not going to be purchasing our car there. We just wanted to do some research before making a purchase once back on the West Coast. He couldn’t have been nicer and generous with his time and the information he provided us. When we asked to do a quick test drive on a CX-5, he was happy to let us do that. If you’re shopping at this dealership I would highly recommend looking for Christian, as he is very well informed and he’s also a very nice person to speak to in general!

Nick and Georges were great. Very straightforward, knowledgeable and communicative. Got us the exact configuration we were looking for in an Atlas, even fetching it from a sister dealership within the hour. Pricing was very competitive and we have had no second thoughts on the package and financing. I’ve had my share of nightmare experiences at dealerships, this was a completely different story.

I’ve been looking for a new car since my old car was malfunctioning. I have got fed up with the darcars dealership because they ran my credit over 20 times so I decided to go to Ourisman because my boyfriend works there. I was looking for a car that had a sunroof so I looked at a Jetta SE. I had came in to do a deal for a Jetta SE and the manager Mo said he can get me a deal on that but will list the car down as a Jetta S so we get approved. I said OK that’s fine. I end up going through finance we tell the finance person that the car is a Jetta SE. my boyfriend was cosigning for me as well so I could get a new vehicle. once the deal was over when I came back the next day, I went to go sit in my new Jetta SE. The manager Mo came outside yelling at me telling me, “THIS ISN’T YOUR CAR!!!” repeatedly. I got out of the car and I started crying after he walked off. I went to go find my boyfriend because he was changing the tags and I was crying and telling him that the manager just yelled at me. I ended up speaking to the GM that was Todd at the time. he told me to stop crying because I’m making the dealership look bad. that also made me upset so I remain silent because at this point I’m mad. I had it up just taking the car because at this point I’m stuck with it and already dropped $1000 on it. so fast forward.. 2 to 3 weeks later my check engine light comes on. come to find out the cars fuel pump was malfunctioning and the sensor had went off because the hose was not opening. they replace the part after days coming there and leaving multiple times. Now it’s May.. and I’m about to drive out of town so I get a vacation check up and service so everything‘s OK when I’m driving far away. That same day I got my car back my car was making a lot of noise which was May 8th. so when my boyfriend had to get off and we went to Walmart we were curious about the noises. We decided to pop the hood and noticed a clicking noise. Also we know as well that newer jettas don’t come with the engine cover but I had one for some reason, but mine was missing. The next day I couldn’t bring my car in because it was a Sunday in service was closed. So that following Monday I went to service and I explained my concerns. One of the Asian looking servicemen said that it look like it had an engine cover But Gustavo the other service man went to go get a caucasian dude from the back. The guy was very rude and was forcing the fact that I did not have an engine cover. I got really upset and I walked off and I started crying because I’m going through so much with this dealership. Gustavo also admitted the car is making noises that is not supposed to be making. my whole trip out of town my car was making noises. so May 24th, I was driving with my boyfriend and we realize my car was making a extremely loud noise so I recorded it. further down the road we begin to smell a burning smell so we pulled over and pop the hood and the smell burnt. at this point I am entirely done with the dealership. i’ve also got my front bumper fixed because I was driving and my car went into a pothole and scraped up my front. The manager Moe they will fix it free of charge. I get my car back and my car is a shiny black paint. part of my bumper is dull from wherever they put on there paint wise. I had a lot of white stuff on my hood in on my bumper and I realized before I went out of town when I was waxing my car my fender looks sanded down. Why? I don’t know! I never had a scratch in that area and he told me it was overspray. at this point either I want a new car or to be compensated because I am tired of this and I don’t have to tolerate this because my boyfriend works here. My boyfriend is a good worker and I don’t want him to look bad so I hold my tongue but I’ve BEEN expressing my concerns with this unprofessional, rude DEALERSHIP!!! I need to speak to somebody higher up. UPDATE: the GSM Johnny slammed the phone down, hanging up on my after promising to take down my info so I can speak to the GM of the place because he doesn’t like my partner and I revealed he was my co-signer.

If I could, I’d give them no stars. Absolutely terrible service. From their sales representatives to their finance team to their manager. We purchased a vehicle and waited more than 3 hours to start signing our paperwork because our sales representative, Ryan, abandoned us. We were promised our second key would be shipped to us (express shipping) and that we would receive it within a couple of days. That was NOT the case! After multiple phone calls with the manager and after finally speaking with one of their lovely receptionist who called us to let us know she would mailing our license plate, did we finally get our second key (a month later). My husband and I have purchased a few cars in the past and we never dealt with such awful service like we did here. We do not recommend this dealership for your next vehicle purchase.

Bought 2 VW from them in the last 3 years. They swindled me in the extended warranty/maintenance that was NOT authorized by VW. They failed to send the registration to the MD DMV after I purchased a new Atlas which almost resulted in my license being suspended. They were unprepared and didn’t even have the right vehicle when I went to pick it up at purchase, and overall their sales management team are pompous and entitled. I routinely recommend to friends to never trust this dealership and inform VW on every survey.*** everyone please see their response below as an indicator of what to expect. I’ve edited this based on their response:- once again this is a perfect example of how condescending their management team is.- I bought two VW there based on price and availability, and trust that your issues would be corrected. I would certainly would have bought my 2nd car elsewhere and paid more.- I’ve spoken with several of you at length. Nick is a gem as he said he would return my calls and then never did, and your online sales woman lied to me and my family.- But apparently you sell unusable Fedelity warranties even though your finance person said “all scheduled maintenance would be covered”, advertise cars with swapped out OEM equipment, and fail to register new vehicles for customers SO OFTEN that you can’t even remember, and of course don’t care.The motive here is to inform the consumer. You could have managed this all properly, and your lack of ownership and deflection is exactly what I continue to expect.

We wanted to buy a VW Tiguan and Ourisman Mazda looks they deal both VW and Mazda.For the stock we did like, after the negotiations we settle at 26K with first sales guy we deal with and we are ready to buy it.Now the second guy comes and say, no you have to pay 27.7K or I will give for 26K but your have finance with 0 down payment.and then 3rd guy comes and says no it is 27.7K and your have finance with us.For the same stock, 3 guys talk 3 different ways, 2nd we deal with very arrogant.Will never go again to this dealer.

The administrative process was very smooth and Scott answered my questions very professionally. The work was carried out in a very timely manner and, I thought, at a reasonable price. It was a bad experience I had with them. They wanted me to pay fees that were supposed to be paid by my insurance. I tried for Two days to explain to them that that was my insurances responsibility to no avail. I even spoke to the manager who also maintained that I pay those fees out of my pocket. It was a bad wrap for me. Hopefully, in future, they try to work better with their customers.

The Team was quick to get my vehicle into service. I decided to wait. It was my first time using the waiting area. Seating was nicely spaced for Social Distancing. All seats were filled except for one with a side table. Everyone was wearing a mask.There are also 2 smaller waiting rooms. One with seating for about 7 to 8 more people and the second was a childrens play room. While waiting, someone came through and wiped all of the surfaces, door handles and seats. I was impressed with the attention to detail for each area.I decided to use the second waiting room since it had a counter top with access to power plugs and it was empty. Very convenient. It was also separated with a glass door and walls, so I was able to make calls and not disturb others. During these times when people are concerned about going into a business, this waiting area is very well planned to accommodate the comfort and concerns of their clients.

The dealership and especially the GM were horrendous. They did not recognize our maintenance package baught with the car and held our car until they got paid from the warranty company for a tire replacement. The gm was rude and arrogant acting like he was doing us a favor offering a Mazda for loan but only if I took down my post complaining about their holding my car hostage. I refused as they were still holding my car hostage. They then tried to force us to pay cash to get our car back. Their customer service stinks and we will never go back there and will share our experience with everyone we know.

Worst customer service. I reach out with 3 questions about a leased car. Thats it just 3, I was returned with one answer and it was not a full answer. I replied again asking for answer to my 3 questions. Still not given an answer. I finally said why does it take over 4 emails to receive an answer for 3 questions. They never replied. So I called HONDA and ask the same 3 questions, got my answer, went to the dealership and drove off the lot with a new car that same day. It could have been so easy for Madza. They act like they do not want a sale. If I cannot get an answer as simple as me asking how much is a lease for a certain car, what would me trying to make an appointment to get maintained done look like? Worst customer service? As I tell everyone about my Madza experiences they agree and say Madza has terrible customer service. The employees who would not properly answer me names were: Tarique Tunstall, Lizbeth Medina and Todd Tunnell. This was ont he email chain. I wont be going back to Madza. My family has 3 Hondas and I wanted to try the Madza brand. No thank you. Go to Honda, better customer service!

I have an appointment for 0815, they open at 7 but I’d show up 0750 my car was taken to the shop 0830 even though I was the first one, the service was for a factory software update, that was supposed to be an 1hr work, but with all preparations I thought it would be 2hrs tops, which they confirmed at check in, I left 1040, very disappointed, I don’t know why always a trip for service at dealerships takes so long, even with appointments and estimated time, they always take way to long to perform a job, they should be more respectful of people’s time, I was late for work even though I’d calculated extra time, is not enough to be courteous, they should be more upfront with customers and getting the job done timely, I would give them 3.5 but there’s no 1/2 stars, 4 would be too much. That’s one of the multiple reasons why i try to avoid dealerships, even for something as simple as an oil change.

Review update: After getting my first car loan statement in the mail I realize that Ourisman Mazda pulled a bait and switch on my finance options. I have excellent credit and asked for “special financing” (aka a 0%) interest rate. I put down more money to secure what I thought was 0% financing. Turns out I’m paying 6%. Now I have to refinance. My fault for signing and not catching a HORRIBLE interest rate for a new car. Don’t negotiate your payment with the sales team and get hosed by the back and forth telephone game of the salesman “seeing what he can do” for financing. Come with your own loan pre-approved.The staff, especially Marty, was so helpful answering my questions, test driving two vehicles, and working with me on my trade-in and financing options to get a new car. I love my new CX-5!!

Beware of predatory pricing. I called to get the price of having my head unit updated to the most recent software for my cx-5. Ourisman Mazda wanted to charge me $192 to simply plug in a thumb drive and press some buttons, a process which including the actual installation and update process takes about 40 minutes. I called heritage Mazda in catonsville which is equal distance to me as oursman Rockville and the price they gave me was $72.50. Guess who got my business.

What started as a rocky process really turned into a fantastic experience thanks to the Sales Manager. Mo was absolutely nothing short of amazing. He wasn’t pushy or too “salesy”- he was honest and straight forward. He answered all of our questions, went to bat to give us the best deal and ensured we were happy throughout. Horrible experience!!! They never explain what is everything on my bill. Every time I take it there when my car comes out of the shop some new light comes on that they just so happened didnt look into it and now I have to bring my car back again to pay hundreds of dollars for a new problem to start again! I bought this car in Jersey back in 2017 and even after moving down here, I would still take my car to Jersey to get serviced because the one in Rockville is the worse! The service advisers or reps dont even care about truly helping you, they just want a good review after to get paid. Service center has yet to properly explain my bill and charges way too much. Dont recommend anyone come to this Volkswagen dealership EVER!!!!

I had the most disgusting experience with this dealership and decided to write a review to warn others about their conniving practices, especially with their salesman Ray Palizkar.The manager, Todd, got us a good deal on a Mazda which we were purchasing out of state (GA) and calculated the final price to include GA taxes. We went ahead with starting the paperwork and, even though we were using cash and not financing with them - they did a hard inquiry on my Equifax.After all the steps we went through, while were in the middle of the sale, Ray decides to increase the price to $40k out of nowhere. At first he claimed it was because Todd calculated Maryland taxes instead of GA taxes - even though the line on the quote clearly reads GATAVT. Ray also tried to claim that it was because I didnt send him proof of insurance even though I had sent it 3 days prior. When he finally opens the email he claimed the Mazda wasnt on it because this guy doesnt know how email and pdfs work and couldnt see that the Mazda was listed on the 3rd page. When I called the dealership to speak to someone else, this guy now claims that the tax was calculated as GA tax, but was calculated wrong. Its an obvious scheme for these greedy pigs to make more money thinking that Im so desperate I would go ahead with this nonsense. The new tax they calculated was over $4000 which is double what was originally quoted. GA tax is 6.6% and there is no way it can be that high. Even if the value of the car is $40k the tax would still be within $2000. This was verified through the tax estimate calculator from the GA department of driver services where you can plug in the VIN number and other info to get your tax estimate.Absolutely disgraceful behavior based on nothing but pure greed and taking advantage. They also like to use scare tactics by telling you to buy the car now because youre getting a good deal as they wont have any more shipments in the future and prices will increase. I found another dealership that matched the original price (who also just got a new shipment). Ray and Ourisman Mazda of Rockville just lost a perfectly good sale. Shame on you. These people are predators.
