So I have to rave about Dylan the gas station clerk. My mama and I got the opportunity to meet him by getting gas. He was so kind and upbeat. He needs a raise or something cause he is doing such an awesome job 🙂.Before I got my gas I was in the store and Bonnie and Cole both helped us. They were also great!

Tom Thumb has a good selection but their prices seem so be consistently 10 to 15 percent higher than the competition. This location has a sushi counter for fresh sushi as well as a nice deli selection with harder to find meats and cheeses. They also have a good seafood selection. If they complimented their large selection with competitive prices, they would be unbeatable. As it is, I shop here for the hard to find items and do the bulk of my shopping elsewhere...

I just go there for blood work at Quest Diagnostics inside the store. I have to do it regularly & the staff has always been nice & efficient. I prefer to make an appointment online to avoid the chance of waiting

Hey guys, whos cruel joke was it to put the Epsom salt on the bottom shelf? People who need that stuff are obviously in pain and might not be able to bend down to pick up that bag.

Shelves were raised due to winter storm. I could tell employees were stressed. But everyone was still friendly and helpful. 4 stars because prices are pretty consistently higher than other very close by grocery stores.

He was always kind and professional and helpful.I wanted to let you know that I left a basket of groceries at Kroger because they wouldnt cut up a whole chicken for me. Your store cut it up for me with no question and I also got $87.35 of my other shopping done. Thank you and keep up the REAL meat department in town.

While I was impressed with some of the options on some harder to find foods, I was sad that I couldnt find one of the 5 things on my list - unsweetened coconut cream. While they did have like 5 options of coconut milk, they didnt have coconut cream. Might have been because I visited right before Snowpopclipse 2021, but it isnt an item that you would expect to see sold out before a snow storm.Other than that, the store is clean and organized and seems well run!

Great produce and meats. A little pricey, but the quality is worth it. And sales prices are usually very good. I got a prime rib roast for abt $6/#. Score!!! Christmas dinner taken care of. Not much interaction with staff, in fact, they are a little scarce. But I managed to find all I was looking for... And then some!

Ordered their fried potatoes.Big mistake. They were refried at least twice, rendering them super hard through & through leaving them totally uneatable. Total waste of money.However the chicken was good.

I dont like the layout of the store. It feels slightly crammed. It is also overpriced.

This store has a lot of variety. Also, in-house Starbucks. You can find some things here that you can’t find in other stores, like Martha Stewart frozen foods.

Variety of some staples is strangely lacking in certain produce (sausage is the latest thing Ive noted), but the staff is nice and the store is clean.

I placed an order several days ago, more than 3, they should do the delivery tomorrow, 2/20/2021. So today they call me to apologize because they wont be able to fulfill the order. I said, ok, its fine, but it will be great if somebody called me before so I can have time to do my order with another company, now tomorrow I wont have food for my family, they apologize again and we finished the conversation. This is when this gets interesting, 2 minutes after, somebody called again from the same Tom Thumb, explaining the same situation all over again, she was really rude, but she was putting all her energy to turn me into a believer, she was trying to convince me that they make no mistake, and they inform me just now because they receive the order just now, and I explain I put the order several days ago and somebody in her company is not forwarding the orders at the right time. She got really infuriating, then she started talking and even if I said something, she didnt stop talking, was like the radio or the news, and I was trying to keep working and trying to stop this very unnecessary call, so I told her that if she had a bad day, I wasnt here to fight with her and this call was pointless, then looks like her boss got the call and guess what.... the same, like the radio, she was talking non-stop. I was doubting that this was kind of a sect and they were trying to convert me; I had a better time listening to somebody trying to sell me Herbalife or Amway. What is wrong with these people?. Customer service is not about forcing the customer to see everything from your point of view, is about caring, they never offer me to sell me food that they DO have so that I can have food for my family, I am sure the entire store is NOT empty, and they have something. Instead, they decide to pick a fight with me. And before some PR says this wasnt true, I have everything recorded on my phone, I can upload it all on Youtube.Response to the Response: Absolutely No, I dont want to talk about this event anymore. Huge, nice store but items are sometimes stocked in unexpected places. They still have one-way stickers on the floor but lots of people ignore them. Customers get rude to the ones who dont notice the sticker and go the wrong way. The chaotic stocking of items just wherever is annoying and wastes customers time, in having to hunt for what you want.

I have shopped exclusively at this store for the past 3+ years and the staff has always been very friendly. The last two times I shopped here the cashiers were rude. Yesterday, I had a case of beer in the cart and told the cashier it was there as soon as she walked over. She totaled everything and I paid and she saw the beer and asked me if I already paid for it. Of course I hadnt ALREADY paid for it and I didnt notice she hadnt rung it up. She then took the whole case out of the cart and slammed it on the counter instead of scanning it in the cart. She left it there for me to get back in the cart with the handle facing down. I am recovering from a dislocated finger and needed help getting it back in the cart. She huffed and puffed and tossed it in the cart and sarcastically told me to have a good day. Considering this along with the recent addition of the ridiculous one-way aisles and closed entrances, Ill be shopping at Kroger from now on.

Stores clean product look great everythings good

They clean the carts, but the staff is lax about masking. Im more impressed with this location during the pandemic than all of our other local stores. Great inventory and decent organic selection compared to all of our other stores.

I love shopping at this Tom Thumbs. The people are always polite and helpful. Just wish it was a little closer to me. Truly this is what a neighborhood grocery store should be.

The butcher on duty was awesome. Talk to 3 different couples shopping that were just as friendly as can be. One lady came up to my wife and me, giving us a coupon that she had extra. Wow, there are still Good People in the World. It was just a nice family atmosphere. The most beautiful flower arrangements for Christmas. Cashier Will was super nice with a smile and very professional. Will stated he was ready for Christmas. Lol I could not ask for a better experience of a grocery store.

This Tom Thumb has a Bill Pay area that I needed to use to take care of some business. Easy to find and parking wasnt a problem. In short order, my business was successfully finished and I was on my way home.

This store is always extremely clean. I come here on a weekly basis for shopping and am always pleased by the store and its staff. They are all very friendly and very helpful. Every time I come, I cant help but notice that most of the staff seem to be happy to be at work which is rare for a grocery store. I will continue to shop at Tom Thumb.

I shopped at TT on N. Goliad today (6/11/2020) around 2:30 pm. I have to say that normally, if I shop in Rockwall (I live here), I usually shop at Kroger’s, but they didn’t have what I was looking for. I decided to drive a little farther and shop at TT. I may ve changing stores! TT did not have the item either, but the staff were above par. Everyone I saw had on a mask (most of Kroger’s staff members are wearing them incorrectly or around their neck!), and all were very friendly. As I was checking out, Jalen helped me check out (self-check) and offered to check all of my items! So very friendly, polite, and professional. HE could be an example for ALL of your stores. Seriously, nice young man.As I was leaving, Janet (collecting baskets) said, “Have a great day!” Just that makes a bug difference! Seriously! In times behind masks, it means so much for someone to go out of their way to be friendly.Karylee in the Starbucks store was phenomenal. So polite, helpful, patient, and friendly. She knows my name and used it several times while making my drinks.Seriously, I will be driving a mile more to make TT my store.Thank you,Sally Jo Parise’

The bakery customer service is the worst ever! I used to enjoy ordering cakes from them but now the service is terrible! Was told one thing over the phone and got to the store and was told something different and they wouldnt honor what I was told over the phone! I will no longer use this location for any of my needs!

Today I went shopping with all of my kids and my sisters (5 of them total). I was extremely rushed for time and not familiar with the layout of this store. I asked Angela for help in the floral area, she dropped what she was working on, showed me a beautiful floral that I ended up buying for my sister, helped me with the children, guided me to my ingredients, and all with a smile on her face! Im happy to say I made my deadline because of her kindness and understanding. Really great store and staff!!

It is such a pleasure to shop at Tom Thumb at 3070 N Goliad St, Rockwall, TX. The store is well thought out with a common sense approach to an organized inventory. The produce department is very well maintained, stocked, and always fresh. It is such a blessing to walk through the store and find the items on my list in a location that one would expect in a grocery store. Kudos to the manager and the staff. P. S. I travel 11 miles and pass 3 other grocery stores just to shop at this Tom Thumb. Thanks for taking the stress out of grocery shopping.

This Tom Thumb is amazing. The store is always clean, the employees are always friendly, and the management is always visible. I feel confident when the management team in a store are experienced, professional adults, NOT teenagers. I see both managers walking around the store ensuring that everything is perfect, from the products being displayed properly to the employees doing their jobs correctly.I trust this store completely and enjoy the time I spend shopping there.

Ambiance and selection are excellent. Store is spotless and roomy. Check out clerks in full service aisle should be instructed to never leave a customer to put their own bags in the cart for carryout. Poor service.

It is a convenient local location, clean, and they have necessities along with luxury items. Feedback: they are highpriced in comparison to Wal-Mart for the same items. They offer specialty deli items. But still too high, for example yesterday I bought 8 pieces roasted chicken for 7.99. They were slim meat. A whole roasted would be more cost efficient. I get the piece price is for convenience but why not give customers more value? Like offer buy 6 get 2 free..Their produce area boasts fresh signs. But the celery was brown/rubbery! had to pick through the pears to get some not brown. They also offer extra service such as bagging your groceries in your cart, taking to your car. No one ever puts my groceries in my cart. Wheres the value for my extra bucks here????
