Very friendly and nice selection of various types of musical instruments. They even have a guitalele which is really neat. The staff here are friendly and willing to assist as well which is awesome. Definitely stop by and consider getting yours or loved ones first or next musical instrument at The Music Shop - Rockwall.Support local business - they are major threads in fabric of culture that societal, local culture can build upon, and without local business such as the very friendly folks at the Music Shop Rockwall only big box stores remain - and guess what - they dont carry music instruments at those places and Rockwall wouldnt have a tune to carry - so get your clarinet, your flute, violin, cello, ukelele, piano, guitar, or bass here and feel good about this decision.No affiliation with this place - they were kind enough to help me with my lap harp when other places would not.

Good rentals but when you need tapes on your violin they tell you your teacher or instructor will do it like what I thought this was a music shop seriously just do it if your a music shop

Amazing owner, amazing company, she was so sweet, very helpful, had a great personality and honestly makes me really appreciate this company. 10/10 will be recommending as many people as possible to her through these tough times.I bought an accordion off of her and she made me an amazing deal. I cant wait to learn and I cant wait to do more business with this nice young woman. If I or anyone else needs anything musical, lessons, instruments, etc. Go to her. Best company all around!

Great place and awesome people. I have taken lessons there for over a month now and love the progress Im making. If you want to learn a new instrument or just take a refresher course this is the place. Rick is a great teacher. They also sell many different types of instruments and they have great prices.

For Amanda Shaw...I see you gave us this review before we were able to rectify with our repairman. We can only give you the information that he supplies to us - which was that you would be called that day (along with why it wasnt sooner!). I am extremely sorry that he did not follow through, it shines a negative light on our service as a whole! It was a $72.00 repair and we comped it for you because we felt so bad that he dropped the ball...then we saw this review :( Im glad we were able get your instrument back to you in great playing condition and you didnt have to pay - hope to see you in the future!

I called to ask if I could test a mic, they said yes, when I arrived no one knew how to test a mic, nor did they even have an xlr cable to begin with. Waste of time.(What music store doesnt have xlr cables?)

Great little music shop with a friendly and most helpful staff. They sell almost anything from guitars to band instruments. Best of all is the acoustic jam sessions each First Saturday of the month, that’s in their 12th year!

Ive been coming to this music store ever since I started band in 6th grade and theyve always been helpful. The staff is super friendly and understanding and are always willing to help in any way they can and this is overall a really good music shop.

Not sure why she wrote it...but did find out she was a middle school student and has never a been one of our customers. Guess well never find out why it was written and sadly it can never be removed - seems truth doesnt matter much to some.

Good service and have just what you need

The woman that helped us was super friendly and helpful.

I am very disappointed in the the way things were handled here. I was told I would have a week turn around time, and after a week I called and was told that it woulds take longer due to how much extra work was brought in but was given no time frame and was told I would get a call back. TWO days later I had to call again to check the status and was garaunteed that I would have it in another week. Its been a week and I still have no trumpet so I called to have them just give it back and not charge me.

I came in to fix two small things. It took almost 3 weeks for the repair woman to get there and only fixed one of my problems. I had a stuck slide in my trumpet and they told me that it wasn’t supposed to come out, so I had to go to a different place to get it fixed (the people at “the music store” in garland did it for free and in 30 seconds). They charged me $37 for a water key pad, which normally cost $10-$15, so I don’t recommend this store at all. I will not be coming back and I’m taking my business to “the music store” in garland from now on.
