I’d never purchased a “grown-up” mattress before, and was a bit nervous about the process. But upon entering the store that nervousness was quickly laid to rest (Yeah, that’s a pun).But seriously, the sales rep who greeted me totally understood that feigning sleep in front of strangers is an innately odd experience. She made me feel completely comfortable with the process of trying out mattresses, and was friendly throughout.She never pressured me toward higher priced products and was always up-front about all options and knowledgeable about the products.She made what might have been awkward a genuinely fun, informative and casual experience.

When I purchased this mattress, I was told that I would have 4 months to RETURN it. Well, this ended up not being true. I was only able to exchange or return for a 20% restocking fee, and the box spring I bought was non returnable. I would not have purchased this mattress if I would have known the repercussions. Now I am out over $400 due to this. The sales lady did not mention any of this when we were discussing the purchase and returns.

My purchase was made easy by the representative who attended me in the store, informed me about what mattresses were available and found a good substitute for the one I wanted, which was no longer being made. She was helpful in finding discounts for the mattress I purchased, and she found a delivery in the same week. The delivery was equally efficient: I was texted the evening before giving a two hour window in which my mattress would be delivered the next day. I was texted on the day to confirm that delivery would take place, and when the delivery truck was ten minutes away. Two young men rapidly carried the mattress into my building and up two flights of stairs, then removed the wrapping and installed it on the bed. I learned that this was the first day they had been working, and they were extremely competent and could not have provided better service. I was very satisfied with the entire purchasing and delivery process.

The in store service was fine. The salesman helped us and explained different features. 1-star is for delivery. We were told the mattress would be delivered in one week. It’s been three weeks and we’re still waiting for a mattress. When customer service calls there is no concern for the delay. “The supplier has not shipped us more” Is the excuse we’re given. This is followed up with “we’ll let you know when we get the next shipment”. Don’t promise something you can’t deliver.

I dont have much knowledge in choosing the right mattress, but Donalds expertise and willingness to work with me helped tremendously. Not only was he knowledgable, but he also truly cared about my wellbeing. When I made the purchase, I felt very comfortable doing a business with him. If I could give 0 stars I would. I placed an online order and 3 months later it was canceled without notifying me. I had to go into the store to place the order again and now I’m waiting an additional 2 months. Thankfully it’s only a frame, I can’t imagine spending $5,000 on a mattress with this company.

I purchased a full mattress from Mattress Firm a week ago. It was delivered, as promised, a few days later. David, the store salesman, was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked to find me what I needed and did not try to sell me what I didnt need. The delivery took five minutes, and the guys were courteous, friendly and careful of my walls going to the second floor guest room. They all deserve the highest rating. I was not home when the company called to ask for a review and the recording left no phone number for me to call when convenient. Too bad!
