Every time I am in this store, an associate asks me if I need any help finding anything, pronto. No walking to another aisle to find someone. In out is a breeze, no long walk through and no long walk inside. Very knowledgeable people to help with any project.

Mr. Gordy was incredibly helpful in my search for fireworks. When I told him about my questionable paint thinner search, he was able to explain in great detail the difference between each brand. This employee demonstrates the values of an ideal contributor to my needs, and I will definitely be going back whenever I need goods and services. Ace is truly the place with the helpful harwood folks!

I ran in quickly to see if they had zinnia seeds. They were my mothers favourite flower and as she had just passed very early this morning, I wanted to get some that I could plant right away in her memory. They did have them and the girl at the checkout was the sweetest nicest girl. It was a good experience after a heck of a morning. I wish I would have asked her name.

I absolutely love going to the Rocky River location. The staff (everyone) is very professional, polite and definitely you can tell that they enjoy helping their customers. They always have what I need and if they dont it gets ordered and delivered immediately. Thank you Lisa, Eric, Dave and everyone at Ace in Rocky River. They always make me feel at home.

Tried to return a 2 HOUR old mower. Bought from Westlake store which is also an e&h store and was refused. Lisa, the manager was called at home and she spoke to me on the phone. Was very rude and said she would not take the mower back because not licensed Toro dealer at this store . You walk in and store is messy and in dire need of organization. Employees loo bored and disinterested. Im shocked they have 4.7 stars. Must be the river Townies too lazy to drive to lowes and home Depot. Ace will never compete because of their business model.

Great place for anything in paint and hardware. A little pricier than others (hence the 4 instead of 5 stars) but could be worth it for the large selection.

A bit pricey but you can find items here that are not available at home depot. I suggest online ordering with curb pickup. Some items may be delayed, theyll ship it in store if out of stock.

Great place to find hardware and tools. The people that work here are knowledgeable and friendly. Believe it or not all the home depots were out of the DeWalt sander I was after, ace had it in stock at the same price as a big box stores.

Im currently working on my walk-in closet/dressing room, but ran out of a rare color of spray paint. Because I was doing some business in Rocky River, I decided to take a chance and see if the Ace Hardware store there had the spray paint color I needed.As soon as I walked in the store, an Ace associate greeted me and asked if he could assist me with anything. I informed the associate that I was looking for a particular color of spray paint; he then escorted me to the spray paint section. The associate left me so I can search for the paint myself, but came back a few minutes later to check my progress in locating it.Unfortunately, Ace Hardware did not have that particular color of spray paint in stock but the associate did give me some suggestions of other possible places nearby that might have the color of spray paint that I needed. Even the cashier gave me a suggestion.My assessment of Ace Hardware: the staff was courteous, friendly, attentive listeners, and they offered great suggestions to resolve my issue. Also, the store was very clean and well-organized.Although I didnt get to purchase the spray paint at Ace Hardware, I did purchase some other much needed items for my project. I left Ace extremely satisfied.P.S. I recently went back to this Ace Hardware store and the quality customer service and store upkeep remains consistent. Kudos Ace Hardware. Keep up the good work.

I needed a snowblower starter cord because mine broke. I ask for help and a kind gentlemen helped me through the process. First he wanted to know if I knew something I didnt since I was shopping snowblower parts in July, ha ha. I was selling it and needed to fix it. He helped me clear there old cord from the handle and everything. Top-notch service and great prices.

Friendly and had just what we needed and good suggestions on how to fix our issue.

I bought a chainsaw there recently. The salesman, Eric, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He let me try the saw and gave me a lot of helpful advice before buying it. After taking the saw home and using it for approx 1 hour, the saw locked up on me. Because the usual suspect in a situation like this is a stupid operator who ran straight gas in the saw( I swear to God, I ran the correct mix), I was prepared for a big battle to get this covered under the warranty. After contacting the salesman, I brought the saw back and was given a new one without any trouble. Eric is the man and deserves a raise given how much money I now plan on spending on Ace!

Ingersoll was my all time favorite store. The Ace that replaced it isnt bad. It offers the same services, has a bigger selection. A little harder to get solid advice as not every employee is super knowledgeable.
