*OLD APPLESThe apples were so old, you could see where the chocolate turned colors. You could also see where the chocolate has crystallized.*VERY rude/poor serviceThe service SUCKS. The lady working Sunday, 8/06/17, was VERY RUDE. She did not acknowledge our presence for a long time. We had to stand and wait. She didnt say anything like I will be with you guys in a sec… NOTHING!!!.. She just ignored us. When she finally helped us, she didn’t say anything like “thanks for waiting” or “Sorry about that”. Even after our transaction, I was the one who had to say “Thank You”. She just walked away and turned her back after handing me my receipt. On top of that, she didn’t cut my apple all the way through to the bottom. It was only cut about halfway through the apple. This made me angry because I could only eat half an apple on the way home… BACK TO TULSA!!!... I had to wait 2 hrs to get to a knife and cut the rest of the apple. My WHOLE family bought apples, giving this place money it wasnt worthy of. You would think we wouldve gotten better service.*Poor selectionThey didn’t even carry the Pecan Bear (famous apple at ALL locations I’ve been to). They had a lot of empty spaces where more apple flavors could go but choose to keep them empty.*Poor apple makingThe apples were not covered all the way with the toppings. On the pecan apples, there were a lot of bald spots where you could STILL see the green apple. Who wants THAT?This is the worst Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory I’ve EVER experienced. I live in Tulsa, OK which is 2 hrs away. My family would come here ALL the time for gourmet apples because we didn’t have a store yet. It used to be great with fantastic apples and service. Now… this place SUCKS!! The owner or corporate needs to look into this location because it’s disgracing Chocolate Factories everywhere. It’ll be a miracle if this place last.
My first experience with Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory came with my beautiful Mothers Day bouquet amongst other wonderful gifts through Pro Flowers. The first chocolate I ate was so delicious! I called my son in Hawaii and thanked him for a great decision! There were 8 pieces of chocolate in this gift box that I ate sparingly. Today is July 18th and I just had my very last chocolate. These are the most finest quality made chocolates Ive ever had! I am glad I found a location close to me located in Rogers, AR. I love these chocolates and would certainly recommend them as a gift or just to spoil yourself!!
I came here two weeks before Valentines day to order chocolate covered strawberries. I ordered 1/2 a pound, which they state, and I was told was only $10.35. When I came to pick them up I was charged $32.00. When I asked why they were so expensive they told me its because they are long stemmed strawberries. I told her I didnt order long stem. She told me thats all they have. Then she got the manager, and I said I dont know why these are so expensive. He then told me its over his head. I grabbed the strawberries I already paid for and left. I will never be coming back here again. I cant believe they had the audacity to do this to their customers.
My wife and I are in lovvveeee with this place, we are treated like good ole fashioned Texas family when we visit every single time. I advise every and anyone to visit this heaven of chocolate. My personal favorite Snickers covered caramel apple is to die for.
Dont bother calling this place to get any information, they never answer.
Stopped in for a quick sweet treat. This was the worst chocolate Ive ever eaten. It was so old there were crystal bits in it. I threw the other bits away. What a waste of money!
Passing off old frosting as fudge. Not going back.
I got two cholate dipped strawberries and that was 5$ and I went out side to eat them I bit in to the first on the strawberry was rotten so I ate the other one and it was rotten to so I gave this place a one stare review
Went today at 3:00 to get something for my wife for our anniversary. Very disappointed. When I walked in I could see paper signs on the glass cases that said Closed . I asked if they were closed and why. He said he was the only one there. I asked when he thought they would be open he said maybe by 4:00. Funny thing is I was the only one in the store at the time and while sitting here typing this no one else entered the store. I even asked if he could sell me a prepackaged box of chocolates and he said no. I know things happen and if it is busy it might be a problem. Thanks anyways.
Bought two ice creams for my kids they gave me almost no ice cream, only two flavors to chose, bad service, hope they close pretty soon i know is coming.
Bad service and no fudge
Gross!
