Great for discounted SSU books. Most in stock

I went to SSU for undergrad before moving to MN for grad school. After a few years away, we came home to visit family. So, my boys and I went to northlight to get some books. I was hoping to get a couple academic, challenging books for my husband and I to read on our upcoming trip without the kids so I thought northligjt might have some good options. While there, I found a few books I was interested in so I grabbed 2 of each book I wanted to purchase (one for me and one for my husband) and placed them in our stroller. The employee/owner came over and said that they were expensive textbooks and that she asks that my kids not touch them and proceeded to grab them from the stroller. I informed her that I was going to purchase them. She responded with really!? You were going to buy 2 of each? to which I responded yes. Im not sure if she didnt believe I would be purchasing them or if they just arent family friendly. I was taken aback so I put the books back and left. I was prepared to spend a few hundred on summer books for my husband and I but will not return. Ill be checking out the campus store or Barnes and nobles instead.

Used to like it here, glad to see small businesses like this are still alive.

Small gift area. Childrens and teen books available. Used textbooks in the back for SSU across the street.

Employee working was incredibly rude to me both times I went there. She intervened in my conversation with my friend and put us down. Do not suggest, the rude employment is not worth saving $5.Also run fact for summer school students, they charge full price for summer rentals even though the time allowed is a 1/3rd of the regular time allowed.

Told me I could prepay for a book, never gave me the book, and refused to give me my money back. Total Scam!

Rude employment. Use amazon it will be worth not having to deal with these people.
