Had some good sales going on for womens athletic clothes so I was happy to stock up at a good price! Nice staff and manager (manager ended up helping me check out so I wouldnt have to wait which was wonderful!) Clean store as in proper sanitation/etc but it could have been a little more organized (they have a large selection so its easy to get a little cluttered at times!) Will be back and would recommend!

It was great to see such a nice positive staff working there bits off til 8pm at night helping the post 8he day construction worker buy a desperately needed new pair of boots. You young man in the shoe dept. Spent some time searching the blackstock and then on the floor looking for my selection to no avail, until an equally friendly and assertive and obviously the manager came to his rescue and found them, then was gladly surprised to find out the final sale price was actually lower than the sale price listed. Great visit.

No special qualities here that I found. Seemed like a giant inconvenience for the sales lady to answer simple inquiry about product. Excuse me. I wont bother to stop in again.

Went to look at athletic shoes. 3 workers in the back were too busy talking to each other to ever come over and help, so I left.

This store was stocked/ merchandized very well. I was there for a new pair of sneakers...i was greeted genuinely when i walked through the door. As i was looking around at the womens selection (lots to choose from) I was asked by Brian the manager if i needed any help...i handed him 3 pairs and asked if my size was available. Brian told me hed check and be right back...im a bit of a pain in the rear cause im a little picky. I tried on all three liked 2 of them and i noticed a 30% off sign in front of a wall of boxed tennis shoes...i explained i was looking for something light in color and he went and found every pair he thought i might like...great salesmen no pressure just genuienly provided great customer service. The store was clean all clerks were friendly and informative. A+

I needed work boots for a warehouse that has slip resistance, oil resistance, waterproof, and steel toe that were anything other then black shoes at a size 9. The rep offered to assist me and even went to look at the boxes to be absolutely sure the boots had everything I needed. The rep ended up finding 2 pairs one being extremely lucky that had everything I needed and was a size 9, Brown color, AND EVEN ON CLEARANCE!!! This is a great example of customer service. Can always get a darn good deal when shopping at Big 5. Today I was hanging out here for a bit, and got a chance 2 talk 2 a pleasant gal that works here.

I went here numerous times, usually just to pick up some small things I needed. The staff arent super friendly or helpful but it depends on who is working, they arent all bad. I wouldnt rely on them for advice on equipment, they didnt always know what I was talking about. If you know what you need and its something basic you should be able to find it here and for a good price. If you need lots of options and assistance I would go elsewhere.

Super helpful staff. The only complaint is that they are always out of snow pants.

They had what I needed.

Horrible experience. Given all the wrong information, incompetent employee by the name of kyanna. I had called to see what ammunition y’all had in stock only to have been given the wrong information. I drove 40 minutes out of my way only to show up to a store that didn’t have what I was told over the phone.

Had a problem with the lantern I bought the cord broke but they returned it and gave me a new one with no problem.

They had everything I went in there for and the staff was super friendly and helpful

Their footwear is good but they stock things seasonally. You have to wait until winter to get slippers.

Great Customer Service

Pretty cool little store, they have a lot of a pretty good variety of sporting equipment. They even have a dressing room to try on clothing. Prices can be a bit High but they also have lots of sales. They carry all of the top brand for sporting goods.

I buy shoes here because they have lots of sales and a good selection.

Been coming into this store since it opened in Rohnert Park and never had an employee act so negligent disrespectful and argumentative until today.3/18/20 4:26 pm this review is for the old man that works behind the firearms counter. Mouth breathers should not work around guns.

Store, many years ago was great with knowledgeable staff. There was a change awhile back and several employees suddenly were gone. Rare to get help, have to search out employee who isnt talking to another employee and unless you need help locating a product, more often than not they cant tell any info. On that product !This is especially true in the section where they sell knives, ammo and guns.. I rarely shop there any more especially with another and better sporting goods store now in RP.

Its Big 5..... Pretty sure everyone in California knows what they carry and what their service is like. They are a chain after all and across the board all locations seem to be laid out and operated identically.

Im not sure if this man is the store manager or just the firearms clerk, but his name is Jarrod. This mans customer service is outstanding, a rifle I had bought from this big5 was stolen and recently recovered by the authorities. In order to get it back I needed the paperwork for the purchase(Proof of ownership). Unfortunately I now live in a very far away state so I couldnt just walk in with my ID and get a copy, however Jarrod took it upon himself to contact his corporate office and track down my proof of ownership and proceeded to send a copy of it to the Big5 closest to me so that I could pick it up here. This whole situation of getting back my property being stressful enough, Jarrod really made it a lot easier on me. Thanks again Jarrod.

They should sell healthy stuff to their athletes .... not 7-11 type junk food! Orchard hardware is doing the same thing too.. junky toys, food near the registerswe know the most profitable food item is soda...but that comes with a price,, by giving people diabeties and obesity

Ive found other then the bike shop in cotati that I can find a lot of good things I need here for my bike as well as other spoting needs and backpacks. I love their great prices on everything. The staff here are all really nice to.

The Rohnert Park Big 5 always has bad customer service, many time the sales staff will be standing around talking to each rather than acknowledging the customer. The show department shows shoes on a Sale peg but the show is actually not on sale, the sales member told me that Corporate make them do it. I call b/s. Not the fiendliest people as well. Do not like shopping there!

Always have great sales on bear paws. Super excited i got hoking boots and bear paw boots for under 100 bucks.

This store covers all the basics fishing, hunting, camping and a lot more. I find the prices to be very reasonable.
