Great place to shop for any outdoor fun needs. Staff was very helpful during the purchase of my hot tub. Mr. Hernandez was very knowledgeable about the products specifications which helped me in choosing the right tub for me. Delivery timeline was a little longer than expected but NOT due to anything within theyre control. However when they were able to deliver the product, I was kept informed throughout the entire process. Andre and Randi were very helpful. When I had questions I reached out to the product expert and he directly handled my questions by communicating with the proper department himself.( I was expecting to get caught in the message-relaying limbo between sales and delivery). Kudos for that!

Great experience! Worked with Andre in the Romeoville store. Andre was knowledgeable and friendly. Only drawback was that the spa was back ordered 6 months, but we knew that when we bought it. Had to contact Andre a couple of times over the wait period and he was always available or called back or texted shortly thereafter. Been working with Brian Geever since April 17, 2020 on an outdoor kitchen island. Was trying to negotiate pricing during covid and possibly the sale of the display model. No luck but I kept in touch with Brian via email on Aug 26 2021 i asked about the floor model being sold because Bull stopped taking orders. But then i got an email from Brian on Oct 1 2021 saying they got the ok to sell the 2021 floor model. Unfortunately he was not available but had me meet with Danielle or Jessica and sealed the deal with Jessica. Great customer service

Shane in the hot tub & spa department was friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy. Definitely recommend Shane for your sales person! Love that we could touch, sit, feel, and see products in person including outdoor furniture. Please be patient, following 2020 most products require a wait, BUT QUALITY IS WORTH IT! I purchased a lounge chair from another locations tent sale about 6 years back. We have left the frame outside every winter and just brought in the cushions, no rust and no cover used. If you are willing to spend $$ for quality products this is the place. Its an investment that is worth it. Remember that like indoor furniture and appliances; outdoor products require proper maintenance and care. Also if you are a larger person, indoor and outdoor furniture does have weight limits. It good to ask about and worth the extra money for a heavier weight limit piece of furniture if you want it to last.

We were greeted within seconds of walking into the store. We were assisted by Brian. He was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I highly recommend this company. BTW, we did make a purchase and are very excited about enjoying our new hot tub.

The worst service we have ever had. No call backs, still waiting for a call from 9/28/21. Pool gets installed, late - we fill it up only to find out that the liner is bad and now leaking in our yard. I asked if we get reimbursed for our water bill and was told that it is in the contract that American sales is not responsible for the water even though it is their fault. Sorry that we went with them.

The salesperson, Brian G., was very knowledgeable and patient with my many, many questions regarding the purchase of a hot tub. When I was ready to return to make the purchase he made sure he was readily available and once again patiently reviewed all the information about the product. He was also very prompt and reliable with follow-through info that I needed. I really appreciated his professionalism - it was a very positive experience.

Since August 2010, I have bought a pool, 3 sets of patio furniture, $3k Napoleon Grill, gazebo, and numerous other items. They have always been great. I recently moved and bought a new gazebo for another couple of thousand dollars plus $299 for delivery and installation. When they came out to install (was at work), the installer said it was another $50 to secure gazebo to deck, which we paid in cash. I totally felt ambushed and would have tipped the guys that amount. I called Romeoville store and they said the anchoring is another $59 and the guy was giving a discount. The manager said I should have been given a chance to buy the anchoring when I bought the gazebo. She even offered me my money back, which is not the point and I declined her offer. Should already be part of the installation. I have spent more than $20,000 over the past 11 years and not sure I would want to read the “fine print” at that store.

Poor communication, with the delivery and installers. Installers dig, then ask for money. Never asked if it was ok to dog 14 inches. Then they dumped tons and tons of dirt on flower beds. Were going to have to drop a load to clean it up and fix damages. Also, filter was installed wrong. Husband had to fix it. There was also a leak that the water delivery man notice, and temporarily plugged for us. A screw was missing. They replied to this and told me to call customer service, I did one better. I wrote to their GM at the store, she was sorry I was overwhelmed. All we wanted was the dirt moved to the dumpster, and the installation completed properly after spending $8000. Buyer Beware!

Nice atmosphere and helpful employees. Went looking to purchase a hot tub. Good selection on display. Unfortunately they did not have any available for purchase for about a year so I ended up at The Great Escape who had many available much sooner and bought one there. Not sure if American Sale doesnt have the contacts or contracts with enough manufacturers to supply their stores but the Great Escape had the same or similar models for similar prices with much greater availability. No issue with American Sale other than that and would shop there for any needs I may have.

It is a good place if youre looking for gazebos or porch items, but if youre like ne and youre Holiday crazy then its not really the place to go

Andre was extremely helpful, professional and friendly. He greeted us right away but with no pressure. When we had questions he was nearby and answered them thoroughly. An amazing example of how we expect a salesperson to be. I will highly recommend the store and Andre as the person to contact.

The absolute best service from Andre H!! I needed replace a lot of outdoor cushions and Andre went above and beyond in helping me not only find the color I wanted but when the fabric was on backorder past when I needed it, he found alternate color options for me. He always returns your call and proactively reaches out to you. I honestly will send all my family and friends to him because you don’t get customer service like that these days anywhere!!

My husband and I went to American Sales to purchase a hot tub. The sales person that we dealt with was Brian. He asked us what features and size tub that we were interested in. The store has a large selection of hot tubs to view and he took us around explaining about the different models. We decided what we wanted in a hot tub and bought it that day. He made sure that before we left that we knew everything that we needed to know about our model. Brian is very knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. I would recommend Brian if you are interested in purchasing a hot tub and recommend American Sales as well.

Awesome experience with them even during this Covid pandemic! Obviously with all of the parks being closed along with everything else the kids are getting stir crazy. We wanted to get the kids a play set for the yard to give them a little sense of normalcy. We were unable to actually go in store anywhere to price out or actually see the play sets. So on line shopping was are only option. American Sales had very nice looking play sets on line so I sent an email inquiry. I received an email response shortly after by a representative named Jessica. She was awesome and helped us out sending numerous pictures, diagrams, and price quotes. The crew who delivered and assembled the play set were also great! If youre looking for a big purchase for the house, I highly recommend them! If they can do such a great job during a pandemic they must really be great during normal times!

When we bought the pool the sales person was nice and answered a lot of our questions. Once the pool equipment was delivered, the installation company installed the pool quickly and efficiently.We bought in December and installed in May. However I had to call the installers multiple times and leave messages to send paperwork to the village so my permit would get approved to install the pool. They did send the paperwork in the day before installation day and we were able to get the permit.I dont know if this on the installation company or American sales, but when they install the pool they tell you most of the excess dirt will be put back in the ground around the pool. However, there is no way to backfill all of it and who wants to have all that dirt laying in their backyard? Why isnt there an option to remove the debree? It is an eyesore to have a new pool with mounds of dirt that now the owner is stuck with it. For the amount of money charged it should be included with the pool installation.Also when we bought the pool, no one ever mentioned that we would also have to get the pool bonded and that cost us an extra $1500 with the electrical line. That is a substantial extra cost that they shouldve warned us about.The last issue I had is that I was sold a bunch of cleaning stuff with my pool but no one ever explained how to use it. It would help if American Sales sent out a video or maybe at time of sale offered a class on how to maintain your pool. I ended going back to American sales and a sales person did give me quick class on how to use the leap frog system and how to maintain it.Just be aware that when you get a pool youll end up doing a lot of work for the permits (depending on your city) and there will be extra extra cost.

We bought a pool from American Sale in Romeoville, IL and our salesman was Brian. I cannot say enough how INCREDIBLE Brian was. I was very nervous buying a pool and he made everything so easy and answered every single question we had (I am sure we drove him nuts)!! On top of that, even when the pool was sold and his job ‘should’ have be done at that point.. Brian continued to check in on us and continued to answer any questions we had about installs and so on. He even did his absolute best to help us with our permit process when we were stuck. If he didn’t know the answer, he immediately got us in contact with who would. I work in management in retail and I am hyper aware that team members like Brian are hard to come by. Thank you for going above and beyond for us, Brian!! I went to American Sales to get a pressure guage for my pool filter. I first went to their competition because of the proximity to my home. The competition was did not have it although they still sold filters with that guage. I was very pleased that American Sales had what I needed. I will be going to American Sales first from now on.

Horrible customer service . Went over the weekend with my family interested in purchasing a pool and no one ever walked up to us to ask us for help . There were 4 associates standing in the middle of the store staring at us and not once did anyone ever walk over and help us . The store was empty! We left and took our business elsewhere. We ended up purchasing a pool from the Great Escape. Please work on your customer service it is horrible and your cashiers didn’t even noticed we walked in/out for being on their cell phones . Never will go here again.

I ordered a Christmas tree from American Sales in Romeoville. I spoke with Jessica who was very personable & professional. Originally, I had placed an order for a tree that was in limited supply. As it turned out there was only 1 tree available in Indiana & it would take too long for delivery. Jessica offered to send me pictures of trees that were in stock @ her store in Romeoville. They had one similar to the original one that I had ordered, so I took the one that was in stock. Thank you to Jessica for being so helpful & patient. Purchased a 24 foot pool and when delivery was made the delivery guys dropped everything all over driveway and then decided to tell me that they didnt drop everything (my camera recorded it) and continued to unload it into my driveway. Not knowing what was damaged i had them take it all back and redeliver. When second delivery arrived multiple items missing. Frog torpedo, skimmer net, manual vaccum and hose, automatic vaccum. My experience has been not satisfying on my first and hopefully last pool purchase. Pool install also didnt go well but that wasnt american sale that i went through since they were booked until September. Pool is beautiful.

Staff: Not friendly. Seem to assume that guests visiting will not buy...must not sell much. Prices: Very inflated. Variety: poorI should have known, when I saw the parking lot was virtually empty.

I was originally very satisfied when ordering the hot tub. However after delivered the hot tub began to malfunction and it has been a nightmare trying to schedule a technician to come and service the hot tub. The holding time hangs up after 14 minutes so unless you visit the store dont expect anyone to help over the phone..

Purchased a gazebo from them in the beginning of the summer. Brian was awesome answering any question I can come up with between the different models. Helped me make a decision on which one to go with and couldn’t be happier. Delivery was faster than I expected. And the quality is awesome already been through a couple bad storms and still holding strong!

We decided to invest in our backyard due to the shelter in place order. It’s only been a month and it’s one of the best investment we’ve made. We bought a pool in may and we knew nothing about them. Brian G answered every and all questions with patience and helped my wife and I understand everything we could possibly need to know. Our pump went out on our pool- we’ve purchased our pool and hot tub at American sale- I’ve called a couple of the locations. So busy on probably the busiest weekend for them if the year. I’ve been put on hold many times- they are trying hard and I know. Then I called Romeoville! Wow! Even tho they are busy they couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful on the phone! First Destiny- who just happens to be only a few days in- was amazingly friendly and helpful- the hands off to Nickie! Nailed it! Nickie was amazing- found me the pump I needed made my stress go away! Too many times these days customer service has gotten poor. Not with American Sale Romeoville!! We went to buy patio furniture. We found exactly what we wanted for about 40% less than another place we had visited. The service was extremely courteous efficient and informative. They also informed us of a rebate which we did not know about. They also had all the accessories we needed. We were completely satisfied.
