Someone always asks if they can help you find something. Good stuff on clearance

Great employees but some of the customers could use some work. When asked to put on a mask customers would lunge at or threaten employees. When asked if they needed help, customers would get mad saying theyve been waiting for 15 minutes when in reality they just walked into the store 12 seconds ago. Come here for great customer service but horrible customers.

The employee in the shoe department was friendly and helpful. He brought out several sizes, and suggested others that might work for me. The shoes run small, so it took a few tries to find the best fit.

This is a great place for sports equipment and shoes. My daughter lost her best friend a stuffed cat while waiting for her brothers to pick shoes and the employees looked tirelessly for more than a week and helped make a 3 year old very happy!

Big 5 Sporting when you have a grandson with 14 and shoes and only 13 years old it is hard to find shoes for him we always go to Big 5 they seem to have shoes for him a good place to shop for sports gear I one of the few places around Roseburg that you can find things that you need

Not much there, mostly shoes and some clothing and camping gear. Mo guns or ammo, some bow, some fishing, super small selection. These stores cant last long like this can they? I say, take the Big from Big 5.

All the great aspects of BIG 5 except it is more expensive than the North Bend BIG 5 im used to. But aside from this slight difference its Classic BIG 5 behavior!! Great customer service, quality products, and fun atmosphere. Definately will be returning to the Roseburg BIG 5!

This is the only sporting good store in town, so they could have a better selection, but it is better than nothing.

This retail location has everything you need for a good fitting, high quality shoe, plus other must have items if they’re affordable to you that is. I recently was in an emergency to get the correct size shoes. The staff were nice enough to swap out the ill fitting shoes for new ones since they were the same brand and style of shoes just different colors. I made a bad judgement call initially and bought a pair of size 11 4E Nike Monarchs. The end result was severe tendinitis above the anterior portion of the ball of my left heal at the connecting juncture which leads to ligaments and eventually calve muscles in my lower left leg. I WAS IN DIRE STRAITS!, and I think the staff at Big 5 Sporting Goods sensed that. To the crew there; from the bottom of my heart, thank you so very much! I was in a lot of pain! I always recommend this retail outlet to everyone. Word of mouth never hurts, my heal sure as hell did. Thanks again!😊

I went to buy a pair of running shoes. I had to stand around for a few minutes waiting for a customer service person to finally go get the pair of shoes for me. They had the shoes I wanted in stock and after that I was able to check out quickly. The checkout person was very courteous and fast.

I went to Big 5 to get an ankle strap so I could do leg extensions on my cable machine at home. An employee showed me the spot where they were supposed to be and they were out he said. I wasnt happy about it but I looked around anyway and finally I found exactly what I wanted the store employee just didnt know where it was. So if you go there and they say theyre out of it you might want to just check around for a minute to see if they just dont know where its located in the store, LOL.

I most always have a good experience at big 5 however today while getting shoes for my children not only did I get the opinion that the employee did not want to be there, I asked for a shoe in my kids size, instead of saying sorry we dont have that size he comes out with shoes 1 1/2 sizes smaller and says here try these. WTF

Great outdoor and fitness store. Has a good array of sporting goods, including a shoe dept. Their shoe sales are very good!

Employees were very helpful and the manager accommodated us with a coupon for our sports granddaughter.

I usually get my shoes here. Service is really friendly and helpful. I do appreciate it when I need to try shoes on for some time to see if itll pinch my feet. Either to wait in the store or take them home and brinf them back. They also have great camping and hunting supplies besides just sporting goods.

Went in because of add in the news paper to purchase a pair of shoes at a discounted price salesman lied to us and said they didnt have that size available because they didnt want to sale the shoes at that price. Very unsatisfied customer will never return.

Jose a staff member was very helpful. Disappointed that the store doesnt have shopping carts. It makes it a bit difficult for someone who is disabled and needs to use walking sticks to carry a basket while they shop.

I called ahead to see if they had what I was looking for. They did and had it at the counter when I arrived. The crew was very helpful and accommodating to our wants and needs. When it was time to checkout, we were given an online coupon to save some extra money.

Customer service was lacking, had to go into the stockroom myself and grab the pair of boots that I wanted after waiting for nearly 10 minutes as the employees had a casual conversation about who knows what. I used to work at this Big 5 location and customer service has definitely gone down hill since I left.

I dislike running to Roseburg to get my hunting license, but Big 5 has fast, helpful service, so it makes the drive worth it.

Told me an item should be on sale Sunday...pretty honest.

Had a great experience buying shoes with a new trainer named Adam. Suoer professional and knowledgeable. In todays world of none existent ciusto.er service Adam sets the mark. Kudos and treat him well.

Really the only place in town to buy decent athletic shoes. Every time I have been in there, the staff has been courteous and helpful.

Went there with a friend today so he could buy something he wanted. There was a young lady, Kim, who was the person who took care of us. It doesnt matter if someone is really busy, has something else on their mind, or some other reason, her interaction with us was a little insolent. When someone is working in retail, things like this just CANT happen - theres too much competition. We DID have the opportunity to speak with the manager, who is very nice. Seemed like hed heard this before about her. Otherwise, good experience.

Good place to get shoes and they have very good prices and something always on sale

Went in to pick up a set of golf clubs I saw online. Showed up and the set was missing 1 or 2 clubs. I was told I could get 10% off and buy the other missing clubs at 10% off. I decided to not buy the set and mentioned to the sales associate to make sure to let people know the set isnt complete, he then proceeded to cover the top of the set up and say they are hoping to sell it as is. There was nothing indicating the missing club/clubs. This is just plain bad business. Incomplete sets need to be labeled and marked. Sales associate was nice, but said he was just following orders from the manager Jose. Be careful buying items here as they apparently dont want informed customers they may be missing contents.

It was just ok. Store employees were not overly friendly. Did finally find a pair of shoes which was plus since this was my third stop looking.
