I was shopping at JCPenneys today sad to see theyre closing soon. Although the prices seem to be high with a 40% discount I can see why. Shop here for many years unfortunately not anymore. Friendly staff good people. And a very clean store if you need display cases and shelving this would be the place to come.

For a store that is closing the prices didnt reflect it! There were a few good deals if you look. Great selection of clothes but the prices are still department store even with the discount. The employees were friendly and helpful. Shopping at this store on the day we went seemed like a normal shopping trip, it was fun listening to parents argue you with their kids and touch everything like nothing was any different!

We came looking for prom clothing for my son. Mary was incredibly helpful and fun. She definitely made the prom shopping much more fun and exciting.

Roseburg JCPenny is closing permanently in a few days. Staff is friendly and helpful. Items are highly discounted but pretty picked over.Still some nice finds though.

JCPenney has a great selection of nice clothing, I’d stop here for a wedding outfit or for a nice occasion. The prices are decent for the quality of clothes but their “sales” are misleading. You have to read the fine print on their sales section. They have some items in the 25% off section that aren’t on sale. The customer service is great though, and that makes up for it in my book.

Its okay they need to have better people skills some of them are rude.

I went there shopping for mens clothes. Parking was easy and the store was laid out pretty well. I shopped around for a long time and found some nice stuff for good prices. I am satisfied with what I got and the price I paid for it. I never had anyone asking I needed help although I shopped around for over 45 minutes. It was very difficult to find dressing rooms. Checking out was easy and the folks were helpful. I waited for a coupon in the mail and Id do that again the next time I need work clothes.

They have clothes for us bigger guys. Actually quite a selection, which is nice and the prices arent too bad. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I ended up working there for 7 years of course its a little time back but great products last forever and they never have a problem if you have a complaint. The manager Now is really terrific great lady. I have so many things that I still own today and I worked for them in 1999 till 2007! Some things I bought years earlier too!!

I ordered some vests online since the local store does not carry clothing for big people.Ended up ordering too large a size so i returned them to the store to get them to get me a size that fit better.They refunded the vests to my card. Then ordered the new vests and charged them to my cardAll of this would be great if the refund had actually loaded onto my card.I am very unhappy with this.

I stopped here a while back. This is a very small Penneys compared to most. However, they had a decent selection of mens clothes, and friendly staff that were very willing to help. I appreciate that theyre still around and hope they can stay open unlike so many other department stores.

Went in to return an item received as a gift. Was informed their system could tell it was purchased using a credit card. Was informed purchase price could be refunded only to purchasing card. -- umm awkward to return it to the gift giver. Probably not the best option.All I wanted to do was select a different item using store credit from the returned item. Was told that was not allowed!So they can confirm a purchase amount paid (not stolen) but cant allow the gift receiver to change items?In the end I just told them to donate the unusable item to charity. If store policies are so customer unfriendly ill never shop there again. Perhaps they should learn a few lessons from Sears and Kmart.

Awesome customer service. The sales staff offered to measure my neck and arm length to ensure the correct fit of a dress shirt. Great selection and lots of items on sale.

My granddaughter and I purchased some tops for her and noticed we were charged more than we thought...we went back in the store and explained to a different clerk. She had to redo the whole thing again and found that we were charged ten dollars too much. She was very efficient and quickly corrected the situation...the first clerk was nearby and I think she should have confronted her so she would be more careful in future...I noticed the store was well stocked compared to last visits...I do like Penneys...

Love this store. Always good sales and friendly service. For a small store it has a wide variety of products.

And didnt have much there been interested me. I walked by numerous employees and none of them even looked up to ask if we needed any help except for the very last Lady as we were walking out the door

Good customer service, found some cute clothes and a jacket that my son actually liked, he only likes hoodies.

The staff is very nice & helpful, however the product offered in ad had another offered for same price...but wait....after ringing up there is no rebate on one now available. Nothing can be done because not the same. I purchased 8 large items, & took them, because registar already tied up for a very long time. Made a huge difference in end cost.

Great deals friendly service. The store could be cleaner. A nicer cleaner presentation with the clothes would be nice. Like most JCPenneys the dressing rooms are a mess and tabled areas where clothes are bunched up in balled up close.

Great place one of the last of the department stores in the area most have left and internet has taken over but pleased they are here and hopefully survive and available for the ones that appreciate the ability to check it out before they purchase it and the store provides something for everyone in the family

I am glad to have a Penneys in our small town, but I was not happy with my visit to the jewelry department in December. I called in advance to get information about a certain item that was on sale. I drove half an hour to town only to discover that I had been given wrong information. The store was also unable to match the Penneys online price. I left having wasted my time and my gas.

The last department store standing. Sears gone, Macys deserted us. Kmart is closing. Best selection of mens clothing thats still affordable.

JC Penny has some good sales but regular prices are just too high to make them a good resource. Staff is helpful but often act like they are doing you a favor and its always been like that since they opened.

I had a quick question for the jewelry rep about the pearl deal. She was extremely “anxious” that my husband and I were going to steal the pair of 10 dollar fake pearls while shopping that she actually asked for the item back! After I grabbed a box so we could keep shopping. Who does that except someone’s that’s prejudice. I have never had that experience in Roseburg and it was my FIRST TIME and last going to shop there.
