Unfortunately this place is closing up, I went today. I never knew it existed. Its in a unique location which unfortunately didnt make it well known. I thought it was a nice supermarket. Its ashame the so many business are closing up due to 2020. I would have loved to go back.Price seemed high like whole foods, but everything was on sale so Im not sure how it was in the past. Seemed like a nice place though.
I discovered this market online, its in an odd location so that is why I think its not very busy. I was able to find things I couldnt find in a regular supermarket or drive to the HMart. The market is clean could use some better layout and lighting but I was happy to find items that I like and some new things to try.I wish they could find a better location maybe in one of the old Mars stores and expand their products. They had a hot pot restaurant inside, the prices were okay but interior was uninviting.I definitely will return
I have started buying my fish at The Bridge. The fish is always fresh, and cleaned to my specifications. The frash produce is great as well as the service.
I really like this place. It has a solid selection of cool stuff. I cant wait until the hot pot place opens back up. It was always a fun evening.
This place is worth missing. After shopping at The Great Wall and HMart on Rt 40 west of the city, Golden Bridge is a real disappointment.Their produce is less varied and much less fresh.(Chinese broccoli I purchased had blossomed). Their prices are so much higher. It is a real shame that there are no equivalents of HMart and the Great Wall on the east side of Baltimore. If you need noodles, condiments or sauces, you will likely be able to find what you need at Golden Bridge. Every time I visit Golden Bridge, which is rarely (because my memory fades as to just how disappointing the experience is) I say to myself it my last visit.
UPDATE: Found out today (June 1, 2021) that the store will permanently close June 31, 2021. The owner has already sold the store and they will not re-open at another location. So, if you have not shopped here yet or if you want to stock up on your favorite items, the time to do that is now.Im able to find any ingredients I may need for Asian inspired recipes, fresh or packaged. The staff here are very friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have. And the pricing is very affordable. I would definitely recommend shopping here.
Excellent Asian market. Been frequenting The store for a years. It’s conveniently located on route 40 right outside of Baltimore. Excellent selection of Asian dry goods, fresh and unique produce and a butcher in the back. Fresh live fish, skin on pork belly and lots of other fresh or frozen butchered meats. Huge selection of spices, sauces, and a huge freezer section. Be sure to use your map as it is not easily seen from the road it’s in a warehouse off of Route 40. Butcher was helpful in selecting the exact cut of meat from the case I wanted and cashier was quick, the bagger was fast and friendly. Keep in mind this is an Asian grocer so don’t expect it to have the same appearance as a giant or Wegmans. I definitely recommend a trip here to stock up on your favorite Asian items!
People rich in melanin such as myself, please stay away from this place. Employees were so rude & spoke to me as if I were inferior to them. Excused myself & asked the young lady where the rice was & told me to go asked the guy up front as if I were bothering. I said thank you for that amazing customer service & she started rambling loudly. I asked the guy & all he did was point toward sacks of rice which I did not want. I still had to look for. Once I found it, I went to the register. Unfortunately for me it was the pointing guy with no greeting didnt tell how much it was & didnt even say thank you after the transaction. ALSO, PLEASE BE CAREFUL IN THEIR UNLIT PARKING LOT. PLEASE FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO SHOP FOR YOUR ASIAN CUISINE.
Never had a bad experience here. By far my favorite supermarket of all time. Excellent selection, excellent prices (especially on produce and meat/seafood), friendly and knowledgeable staff. Coming to shop here is something my wife and I make plans to do, rather than considering it a chore. Were currently based in Bel Air, and we frequently go out of our way to visit.
Super friendly staff very clean and well layed out. Excellent range of quality products. Highly recommended
Quality of groceries are good. Staff is also good. In lock down also they working smoothly.
You buy balut here, and other rare asian foods.
Found it online, otherwise wont go there (warehouse type setting & location). Happily surprised by its inventory (great Ramen & Taiwanese noodle, not impressed by its fresh produce, that‘s why a 4). Spent over 100 and got a free hot pot. So happily surprised. Best vegetarian hot pot I had in Baltimore area. I chose the mushroom hot pot. Good quality ingredients, polite service, a full spread of dipping sauce (there is a video playing about hot pot if you need help on making dipping sauce). I considered this place a hidden diamond.
Very neat environment, friendly people, one stop for your groceries and its very affordable too.
I love this place a lot. It has a unique ambiance. The cuisine is splendid. the service is effective and the personel is polite. The price is honest. I definitely recommend.
Excellent Asian market. They have a wide variety of food items, including an excellent selection of fresh meat and fish. They also have a good selection of cookware and kitchen items. The store is clean and organized, plus the staff and friendly and offer good customer service. Highly recommend.
Love to visit this place always. Nice, Fresh vegetables and meat products. They have variety of Chinese, Korean, Thai, Philippines spices, sauces and noodles. A huge collection of everything Asian foods. They have fresh cut pork meat and seafood and fish.
Brought 8 fish when I got home I only had 5. Had to return to the store because know one will answer the phone. Very dishonest business. Their only solution was for me to buy 3 more fish. BEWARE!!!
Poor customer service in the fish market.. Everytime I come i feel like I have to be on guard. I really hate it. I hope it changes or I wont be patronizing the business again. For whatever reason the man is telling me they cant cut the fish and we the customers are ignorant. I thought he was talking about me but he said no. Life is really short so didnt argue.
Very cool market with a wide variety of delicious food, sweets, seafood, and household items. A must visit. Also had a pleasant, and very sweet woman cashier. Ill be back. For sure.
They have a verity of fresh fishes and vegetables. Nice products. Clean store. Friendly staff. They also have sitting in restaurant inside the supermarket.
I found this place looking for a specialty rice, found wonderful teas I used for gifts, imported spices and sauces-one in particular from Germany that we use daily. The prices are great, very affordable and you can find some stuff in bulk for even more savings. The entrance is a little hidden but its fenced off from industrial area so its easier getting parked and getting kids in store. The staff is always friendly and helpful. If you love Asian food or love to cook, give yourself time to look around at all the options you never find at a grocery chain.
It’s very healthy eating and full filling. Try the hotpot. Cook and eat at the same time. Lol. I love it. Can be pricey, if you depending on what you like. But very fresh food.
They started out as a small shop now it has so much more.Large variety of ramen and fresh live crabs in the back. Authentic Asian foods to make at the restaurant on the side. The only problem I have is I go to run by at 8 and they say they close at 9-930, and on numerous occasions they are closed. If you want to see if they are there I would call beforehand.
This Asian store is creepy! The fish tank and area was extremely dirty and unpleasant. The lighting in the store made it look weird. I wont be going back
This is a fun place to shop. Very wide selection of Chinese foods, more Filipino condiments than Ive seen before, butcher with lots of off-cuts. The fish isnt iced properly and the produce is hit it miss. But aisles of noodles, teas, spices, canned goods, cookies, etc., as well as a real butcher, make up for that. There is also a very good Vietnamese restaurant inside the market. If you only speak English, you may have trouble communicating with the staff. This isnt a problem for browsing and buying.
The best grocery store. Hands down. Excellent produce, bulk, organic bulk local tofu, tons of local and specialty items. Oils, herbs, teas, soaps, breads and so much more. I recommend them.
Great restaurant inside with delicious, authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Whole roasted ducks are available as well.... the market itself has almost everything you need plus a nice meat and live seafood department
This market has some Asian products the veggies is the cleanest items you would find in there. The seafood market is so unsanitary the floor is full of dirt and the baskets to put the fish is also dirty
The restaurant in this store had received mixed reviews on Yelp. Therefore I thought I would check it out with a Vietnamese friend of mine. She was not impressed with the quality of the food that was served in the restaurant. We ordered one of the Vietnamese hot pots and the selection of Meats and Seafood was limited. It was not worth the price charged for two people to share the meal. We also had a very difficult time getting served as the waiter was in the back and needed to be retrieved by a younger child who was in the store and seem to be part of the family.
This store had exactly what I was looking for. I believe it also has a restaurant inside that Ill have to try next time. The aisles were very organized and for me, that made it easier to find what I wanted.
I expected a small grocer and instead found a massive market. They have just about anything you could be looking for and if they dont, you can ask for who does, if theres anyplace around. Just remember to park around back inside the fence. Its weird, but at least theres free parking.
It was formally know as haha and ever since they changed to golden bridge things just arent the same. Still a decent selection however they sell some expired stuff. Still a great place to go all your Asian needs .
Just moved to MD from CA and have been looking for an asian market. This place was AMAZING. We had dinner next to the owners (had no idea!) and they were super kind and chatty and offered to help us find some stuff in the market. The food (mostly Vietnamese) was AMAZING!! When we were checking out we still hadnt found one thing and the owner came up to us with exactly what we were looking for. Definitely going back. The only negative is that the entrance was hard to find at first (we found every back door and side door first before the actual front doors).
Lots of fresh food selections you will not find at regular grocery store.
A great place to stop for and Asian grocery needs. We spent over 100$, so the cashier told us to go to the butcher and we got a free duck. Prices are in line with any Asian market and they carry things others dont.
Really great Asian market. Also good source for butane cylinders.
Fair prices, fresh produce, good roast meats, and a nice array of packaged goods. The restaurant inside changes often, but each iteration Ive tried has been good.
Wonderful experience, great customer service, reasonable prices. Definitely recommend to friends and family.
Affordable produce. Small but have a nice variety
This place has transformed from before. Enjoyed food shopping here. Come on shoppers.
A highly recommended place to shop. This is a supermarket with a wide variety of Asian products at very reasonable prices. As an aside, some of the products are kosher certified and cheaper than the same products at kosher stores. E.g. sesame oil.
I love this place! It has a really wide selection of a variety of Asian foods, snacks, spices, etc...! Their crabs are great. Fresh veggies and other foods. I recommend this place! I just have 1 question. Do you guys sell any type of komuboko, the white and pink thing in ramen, if so what area of the market can I find it?
Excellent selection of hard to find produce essential for Asian cooking. The best selection and lowest prices on this side of the Beltway. Could be a bit more organized and better merchandised.
A hidden gem in an unexpected neighborhood. Found by accident but go here all the time now. Hot food cafeteria and an amazing seafood section (with live tanks)!
Loved the massive selection here. From fresh produce, to bulk imports, they have it all. This was the first time I have ever seen lychee for sale, and I used to live where it was grown locally. Whether you own a restaurant or just want to dabble in Asian cuisine, they got you covered.
Good for a classic Asian supermarket. Has ridged chopsticks I was having such a hard time finding. Had a good selection of Asian veggies.
Good food, fast service and excellent prices. Great for lunch break from work!
First time going to Golden Bridge Asian Market, enjoyed seeing all the different kinds of fruits. The prices are reasonable. Will definitely be going back soon.
I cant compare this to any other Vietnamese place because this is the first of its kind Ive been to. I will say I think the food is delicious and the customer service is wonderful. I only give it 4 stars because the fact it is a cash/check only restaurant, at this time, is an inconvenience.
Awesome customers service coupled by great products make this place amazing. The guys over there are also incredible!
Great selection of fresh produce and fish, lots of frozen dumplings and dim sum. The only spot to buy authentic Asian food in the area without driving to China Town in Philly or H-Mart in Ellicott City, plus theres a Pho spot inside that only accepts cash.
Great place to find hard to get groceries. Fresh fish!
Relatively clean store, smells ok inside, light top 50 songs fill the air, the prices are competitive considering there arent to many other markets in the area. They dont carry too many items like Lotte and H-mart, but you can still get the necessities.
Good food, fast service and excellent prices. Great for lunch break from work! Cash only though.
We go here for Pho. Their broth is amazing and so great on a cold night. We also have tried their wings and fried dumplings and neither disappointed. THEY ARE CASH ONLY! Definitely worth an extra trip to the atm.
The best international / Asian market in this area. Not only can u do your shopping but u can have a hot freshly cooked meal while there.
For all of your Asian food needs. I love this store
Love this place they have clothes and great food dishes
Has everything from fresh produce to fresh seafood, every type of sauce you can imagine, even Ramen and noodles. Also has a restaurant inside as well. Refrigerator section is amazing food from all types of items from ice cream 2 potstickers and buns
The wings were great, all food was made to order. I was just passing through but I highly recommend this place.
This place is fantastic. The pho is spectacular, and they offer just about anything you could want for Asian cooking.
Nice a big selection just wished it was in English. Ill still will shop here.
Nice quiet restaurant tucked inside of the supermarket. I am seriously excited to find a Pho place close to me! This place is going to be my weakness! Pho was delicious and the sub my husband had was too! Thai tea is the best weve had in a while. I will certainly be back multiple times!
Place to check for South East Asian produce and condiments. Not a very wide assortment of stuff but just about enough to find most of what you might need. They have a pretty decent kitchen also.... mostly Philippino food
Good for most of my Asian cuisine needs. Im just a little leery about biyi g meats here. I only get pork belly here when I dont have time to go all the way to Catonsville. But for all other pantry stick items and noodles its fantastic!
Always a great place to get my veggies!
Found what I needed got in and got out love this place
2021.04 - I give it a 2.5 stars for limited selection on fresh veg. Good dried goods selection. There is a PhoBac Restaurant - failed - it was cash only. No other option for payment. Business need to to advertise by road side with flags or something. Its currently in the back of a building with a parking lot that requires repaving and better lights at night. Before someone falls down the stairs, they need to fix the large gaping hole on the stairs. I dont want to see it fail. Need more foot traffic. Perhaps FB to start?
My experience was not pleasant. I went to buy fish, while the man was cleaning it, he sneezed about three times directly on the fish. I was aghast. He did not cover his mouth, nose nor even twist to the side. I told him to pack it, prepare another fish for me that I cannot eat that but I will pay for both. He took an attitude. I called a guy working there to help explain to him. The guy did and told him to prepare another fish, he refused and started explaining what happened in his language. Apparently, he did not see anything wrong in what he did. I went outside, saw another gentleman working there, I explained to him. He told me that maybe because the guy did not understand english, I explained that someone interpreted. He went with me, ask the man to prepare another fish, the man refused. This other gentleman told me he will take care of it. He took it upon himself to prepare the fish, it took long because he was not used to it. But he persisted, cut and prepared it. The suprising thing was tnat the guy that sneezed on my fish was reporting me to his other colleague as if I should not have complained. I am disappointed and I dont think I will ever go back. Who knows what goes on or how they handle things when you are not there. Very, unhygienic.
Amazing Asian grocery with tremendous selection and great prices. The restaurant inside is always worth a visit too!
If you looking for the best Asian market you find it!! This place has everything from Asian to Spanish products that you are looking for.
The pho here is one of the best, cash only. When they only take cash you know you will be getting some old school perfect pho broth.
Fantastic prices, great customer service and wonderfully wide selection of products!!
Store had a weird smell. And alot of things were different compared to what u see in a normal American grocery store. But overall they had everything i was looking for
Great asian market on the east side of Baltimore. Very large selection of dry/package goods, fish market, fresh veg and some associated shops with other home goods.
Very nice and convenient small Asian supermarket with a kitchen and eating area, at first I only went there for Pho when I didnt feel like taking a long drive, but one day I tried the roast duck and have been going to the market on the regular and the seafood department has fish like tilapia, striped bass(rock fish), catfish and more swimming in tanks, live and very fresh. Check them out.
This Asian market is pretty large and they have an enormous assortment of seafood to choose from.
Great selection of Asian goods. Check out the restaurant inside, its got some great pho.
One my favorite places to get foreign foods, also bringing home veggies and making delicacies! Always fresh!
Gets the job done, when you want you staples. This place still have more diverse vegetables than you average supermarket.
I hit his place up for the exotic snacks from all over Asia. The staff is quiet but helpful is you need it. Such a cool place.
This place is wonderful! Fresh seafood food and fuits along with international groceries and most of all affordable prices!!
Well stocked with everything you could ever need! Helpful and friendly staff as well
Good place people very nice good parking
It has a very good variety of Asia foods and produce.
I really loved this place. Great variety of items.
Not a bad place. depend on your taste
Very nice shop with almost anything you could be looking for to make Asian cuisine. Friendly staff.
Small compared to H-mart, but meat selection is cheaper in price here, fairly nice market
I have never waited more then 5 minuets in line for my Moshi. they are a well stocked grocer with live fish, crabs and any cut of meat you can think of. excellent customer service. the best prize though is the small restaurant inside. The catfish soup is divine, also serve pretty good pho too! and traditional Vietnamese coffee. im starting to ramble.
Awesome place lots of exotic foods, nice people, and good eats
Good prices. Great place to find spices and bulk foods.
