Get 1 star because of the TERRIBLE automated answering service you have going (you need to put callers through to a person as soon as they say operator or talk to someone etc. and not keep saying first we need more information). I was pulling my hair out just trying to TALK TO SOMEONE...so frustrated I almost decided to not bring our companies vehicles there anymore.

My window when I purchased the vechile all ready had an automatic tint to a the windows, when they replaced my window there was no tint to the front window and it was hurting my eyes .I went right back in and said something to them and they tryed telling me my window which I have had now for over two years was not tinted. Yet I have pictures that show the window us clearly tinted. I got in touch with the insurance company and I have heard nothing back from either, so I think I will get in touch with a lawyer for sure

The people at this safelite are awesome!!!I needed to have windshields replaced on 2 work trucks. The appointments were scheduled online. I showed up 45 minutes early for each truck expecting to wait but each time they got me right in.The technician was very friendly and expedient in his duties.I will do business with them again.Dont forget to buy some of their window cleaner. It smells great!

Very professional and my car was finished faster then expected. FYI please take pictures of your car inside and out and of the damage to the affected area thats damaged. Its important to check all cameras make sure all sensors are working before they take it apart and re- calibrate it if your car has this feature. My Lexus sensors took awhile to come back on after they did work to my glass and re- calibrated it I thought they didnt hook it up properly. Keep all records especially if your going through your car insurance or any other insurance in case something goes wrong.

Over a week out for fixing any glass. Thats crazy. If you go with saflite they will have your vehicle sitting with no glass or broken glass for atleast 5 days. They say there that busy. Idk.

I give safelight 0 stars. I was home waiting on the mechanic tracker said he was minutes away so I put my shoes on. As I opened my front door he never stopped. My truck has a visor on it soIf it was going to be an issue I would have zipped the 6 screws right out in 30 seconds so he could have at it. There were also nothing about needing to remove it anywhere in the process of scheduling on the website. So as Im coming out my front door to see him drive by and never stop. Completely lazy spoiled employees never took even a minute to know and tell me to remove it..I canceled my rescheduled appointment and they charged me for that also. So I found a small business glass guy who was no more money and he said no worries Ill remove it and put it back. Even used silicone on the screws. Never again lazylight. Negative stars from me.

Clean, timely and friendly. The guy that worked on my car was very nice and professional. This place is well kept and did a good job selecting their employees. Everyone was wearing their masks and I didnt feel like my health was at risk. The lady mentioned they were short staffed when two people complained about not getting through on the phone right away. By the service they provided, you wouldnt be able to tell they are short handed. And they handled the small jabs from the customers really well. No sarcasm or attitude back. Just a smile and polite explanation even when the customers kept repeating it.

Friendly customer service. Free coffee, water and wifi. I was told it would be 1.5 to 2 hour for the installation. Currently going on hour 3. Scheduled appointment for 10 am. Arrived 20 minutes early and my vehicle went in early. I wont be back.

Great shop if you need window replacement. Theres plenty of room in their lobby to sit and wait while your car is being serviced. From the front desk to the technician (Adam), they treated me with the upmost care, providing periodic updates throughout the windshield replacement. Highly recommended facility (Yellow Brick Road in Rosedale area). Install time was under an hour which I was very impressed!

The customer service here is impressive.I purchased a windshield here 8 months ago.A crack from the top started to cone down about a foot long. I called to see if it was under warranty, and they said bring it to look at it. With no hesitation they said they would replace it. Very happy with experience

Came in for a crack in my windshield and was out in less than 20 minutes! Teresa at the front desk was warm and welcoming and made the check in/check out process very easy! Everyone who walked in she greeted with a smile and was more than pleasant to everyone! The technician who worked on my windshield was very informative and did a great job! He even cleaned my windshield. Will recommend this location to anyone looking for a window repair!

Of course you don’t want to go to a glass repair shop because that means a stone or something has damaged your glass. If you have to go however, this is the place to have the work done. Fast and very customer service focused. These folks were great and they had my vehicle in and out of the shop in no time.

I was very happy with the entire experience of getting my windshield replaced. From the first call I could see it was a pretty cut and dry process and the person on the phone knew what she was talking about and it matched what they described on their site- it was clear Id need a replacement and not just a fix. It was a quick turn around and everyone was helpful and friendly. They called me Ms. (my last name), walked around the call with me before they got started, noted that theyd be putting mats down in my car before they started working, and then when they were finished I was surprised to see they vacuumed my car for me! That was a nice surprise and an extra thing checked of my TO DO list that day.

I would start with convenience: all I needed to know - is Safelites phone number. They came to my place at my convenient time. I didnt have to waste time crawling in traffic and waiting somewhere for my windshield to be fixed.The technician came at exact time as was scheduled and finished the whole process of windshield replacement within an hour and half, just as was promised. Gave me instructions, charged right on spot, and left. All my involvement into the whole process didnt take more than 5 minutes starting from my first call.Great service, great company. Highly recommended!

I have never left a negative review. The experience was awful. I made an appointment a week ahead of time. Four days prior to my appointment I received a confirmation for a different time and a different location. I adjusted my schedule to accommodate the new time and place. The Sunday before my Monday appointment I received another email with an earlier time. I scrambled to make it work. When I arrived they said that they had my appointment for the later time. When I showed them the confirmation email they just shrugged and asked if I could leave the car for the day. I replied no and they asked if I would like to reschedule. I am taking my car anyplace else.

Terrible service! Twice they ordered the wrong windshield plus when it came time to install the technician made it sound like it was my fault that the part was incorrect! The nerve. This was an insurance claim and Safelite should know to ask for the VIN# to ensure correct part number for the newer vehicles.

We had one company miss their appointment and then tell us they didnt have the right parts for our car. We wasted an entire day waiting for them too. Made an appointment that afternoon for Safelite and they were at our house first thing the next morning. I wish I would have just gone with them from the start. Lesson learned! I needed to get my windshield replaced due to a massive scratch/crack. Contacted Safelite to make an appointment; they were extremely friendly and helped sort out all of the insurance information and the information about my car. The appointment was within a few days (initially cancelled due to rain - I dont have a garage). The technician was right on time and service was completed within an hour. He explained everything to me and made sure I understood.

Awesome service. Cheaper than I thought it would be to replace the windshield, even with rain sensing wipers. Booked online for two days out, and technician came within the service window after calling about 45 minutes in advance to let me know he was finishing up with another customer and would be on his way. Very professional and courteous. It took him only an hour and he did quality work. I would definitely recommend this service, especially with the convenience of them coming to you (you just hand them your keys and theyre off). Check for discount codes online before making your appointment.

They guarantee coverage on replacement windshield which we had done. Windshield leaked in corner driver side and water went into the dash which corroded the wire harness which failed out throttle body wire. Fought with Safelite for 6 weeks, they wanted invoice which they should have had in there system even though it had been many years since the windshield was replaced. Finally they took the vehicle because we found the invoice and repairs around the windshield and windshield was repaired and replaced. They put us in a rental only to be charged $521.09, from Enterprise Car Rental when Safelite was to cover the rental for a faulty installation job which has been a stressful and nightmarish experience.All I can say, hold on to your invoice from Safelite and if they put you in a rental deny the rental car company from having your credit card info. so this horrible experience doesnt happen to you.

I was a little upset cause windshield was cracked from something else and I recently hit a deer and have my hood held down to the frame with 2 ratchet straps on each side of the hood and ratchet strapped to my brushguard so a total of 5 straps hold g my hood down and they wouldnt replace or sell me the material need so I can give it to the body shop. The body shop charges that as another 2 hours labor and I even told them that my truck was going right to the body shop from safe lite and they still wouldnt install or sell it to me

Friendly and GREAT service!!!! I went there when the rear view mirror in my Crown Victoria fell off. I tried 3 times to put the new one in, and remembered that in 2010 they put the new windshield in. Middle River Maryland location charged me for a repair they did NOT complete. Corporate claimed there was nothing they could do since branch is franchised. They have a great scam going here. Youd be wise to take your business elsewhere is this youre paying out of pocket. I will NEVER use Safelite again and I would advise anyone else to do the same. Spare yourself the stress and go somewhere else.

I needed my work done on a Saturday due to safety and security issues of my broken glass. And they came out quickly and to my job site to fix the glass. They billed me 250 for a back panel glass. On Mon, when other places returned my call for a quote, I got quotes that averaged 100 dollars cheaper. So, in conclusion, if you need it done quickly, Safelite is good, but if you can wait, get it done somewhere else where it is cheaper. Also, the cleanup was bad. The technician did not vaccum up the glass and did not correctly reset the interior of my Jeep.

I got a chip in my windshield on the way to work Friday. I scheduled Safelite to fix it Tuesday Morning at my job. They were there on time, worked very fast, and even vacuumed out the floor boards and wiped down the windows. The chip is still slightly noticeable, but only if you know it was there.

If I could give this place no star, I would!I took my 2014 Honda Crosstour to the Safelite AutoGlass Rosedale, Md location on 9/5 to have my front driver’s side window replaced. Immediately after leaving the location and getting to work I had problems with the window not operating properly and making a clicking noise. I had to take it back to the Rosedale, MD location on Saturday, 9/8. Because the problem was not resolved on the second visit, a third appointment was scheduled for Saturday, 9/22 for someone to come to my home between 8 am - 12 pm. No one ever contacted me and no one ever showed up! When I contacted their so called customer care department I learned that the Einstein technician must have been calling my work number which apparently was recorded by the Einstein customer care rep when the third appointment was made. MY CONTACT NUMBER WHICH IS MY CELL NUMBER IS AND HAS BEEN CLEARLY RECORDED ON MY ORIGINAL WORK ORDER, ANY SUBSEQUENT CALLS TO SAFELIE AUTOGLASS, AS WELL AS ANY PAST VISITS I’VE HAD TO SAFLITE AUTOGLASS. While speaking with their customer care department on 9/22 I explained to a person (Horia B.) that the tech never contacted me nor showed up. Horia argued with me that the tech (Zacheus) called me several times, as well as came to my home and then Horia proceeded to hang up on me. I called back and asked to speak with a manager, I was told by someone named Tiffany V. that no one was available to speak with me. I don’t know who the technician may have thought he called or whether he called at all but I was home all morning and my vehicle was parked directly in the back of my home. I’ve wasted time from work, wasted value personal time, as well as missed an eye appointment on 9/22 dealing with the Incompetence of these rude, unprofessional and obviously untrained people, and the issue is still not resolved. I’ve made an appointment to take my vehicle into the Harford Rd location on 9/29 which is where I wanted to go initially. Safelite AutoGlass policy is satisfaction guaranteed and I’m sending an email to the President and CEO of the company, Thomas M. Feeney regarding my experience with his organization. If this issue is not resolved on my forth and final visit, I will be contacting the State Attorney Generals Office. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE USE SAFELITE AUTOGLASS; AT LEAST NOT THE ROSEDALE, MD LOCATION. If I have any future glass issues I WILL NOT be using Safelite AutoGlass!!!

First all, the tech called me and said he would be there in 15 minutes and didnt show up for almost an hour. Then the installation of the windshield around the moldings looked horrible- he left my moldings chewed up which was not the way he found them but claimed thats how they were. He tried to blame to poor installation on the previous windshield installer which also happened to be Safelite in 2014. when he was finally finish, I went to pay him and he claimed to lose my credit card in his mess of a vehicle. He became defensive about my complaint, claiming I was yelling at him about the windshield. Irritated yes-yelling no. He soon found it when I threatened to call the police due to his suspicious & skiddish behavior.After he left, I immediately called customer service and was told I would receive a call back and no one has bothered to call me back yet regarding the poor installation or his negligence with my credit card...I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND I WILL PASS THIS ALONG TO MY INSURANCE COMPANY AS WELL.

Brought my VW GTI in to replace the driver side window. Took them 2 hours to do the work, but it was nice that they were able to fit me in that same day. The aftermarket glass seems to be of OK quality compared the the VW OEM... so far. EDIT: I looked at the model #s and manufacturers printed on the non-OEM window vs the OEM... the ONLY difference I could find was that the OEM has a small VW logo printed on it. Everything else appears to match.Now the not so good. When the technician brought my car back around I told him Id like my key so I could test the functionality of my window. The conversation went along the lines of:Tech: All ready!Me: Id like my key to test my windows please.Tech: Whoa, hold on a minute, that window motor is hot, I think you should give it 1-2 hours (lol) before you test it out. We also had problems with the auto-up feature but I got it to go up and... *hands off gesture*I think it is reasonable to say that when you go to a shop like this youd expect to leave with a fully functional window (that is, if your power window motors were good to begin with). I am fully aware that the computer systems in German cars can cause all types of headaches but, the technician did not come right out and tell me that there were problems with the one click auto up until I asked. I definitely got the sense that they were hiding something. He actually would not hand me the key and made me go inside to get it from the woman at the register. REALLY?And for the icing on the cake they charged me a $10 disposal fee for the window that I removed myself before I drove over to them. Not a big deal, Im sure there was glass that was in the track that needed to be cleaned, but I am pretty sure I can still hear little bits of glass inside of the door when I close my door.They are convenient, but Ill definitely be going elsewhere from now on.
