I love love this place... the staff is very professional... I went on a Tuesday when there was nobody there... the process was quick... we wait 10 mins usually wait time somewhere else is 20mins... Not sure why this place has a girl with the worst attitude and dead face as the face of the store. If you hate your job and are miserable that much then you should quit. Same way she is on the phone when you call is the same way she is in person. Many people waiting right in front of her and plays on her phone. Doesn’t greet anyone when coming in. Might want to search for a new receptionist. Doctor and everyone else was great.

Really 2.5 stars for the AMAZING optometrist and tech that tried to fix my sons glasses! Unfortunately, my son and I sat for 50 minutes after the initial eye exam. No one checked in, no one asked if we need assistance, customers that came in after us were served... all we needed to do was pay. Im sure the service is great on other days, but on this day it was terrible. We will see how glasses pick-up goes. UPDATE: Pick up was phenomenal! Guess they were just having a bad day.

This place is absolutely disappointing, disgusting, and a disorganized mess. I just wasted a month out of my life to leave with no glasses. I not going to type out the complete incompetence of each of these workers to provide a single pair of glasses in a months time and the lack of resolution from Visionworks customer care with no solution. I just resorted to canceling my order and going back to Wilmer Eye Care. I hate their glasses but it’s better than dealing with the lack of basic comprehension. The good reviews for this place have to be fake because after reading through them the negative reviews are the ones I have been dealing with for the last month now.

Unfortunately only one young Lady deserves 5 stars here.Very sorry I didnt ask your name.In my personal experience I’ve been treated badly not verbally but emotionally by some women in this shop. Girl at reception has a dead face no any friendly emotions at all.Monica shows her intolerant behavior not only to customer but AND her colleagues.Lady with ridiculously long nails is very very very impatient, irritable and grumpy. She refused to tell me her name. I didnt get my glasses and appropriate service. Whey simply canceled my appointment and threatened me what if I insist whey will charge $130 extra for extra work at facilitys lab for my glasses .....for only .....for only one reason :I asked for a refun .She told me what she will BE HAPPY to take more money from my credit card.

She was really nice and very good customer service and explain to me what I was getting and what was better for me since I work in construction. Highly recommend

First time here, experience was good. The doctor was really cool and she actually pronounced my name correctly which rarely happens. Even though she was working hard, bouncing around helping customers, Shondraiya was very funny, friendly and beautiful. 😏

I had such a wonderful experience getting my exam and selecting my new glasses. The entire staff from the front desk check-in lady, to the doctor, and Shondraiya who ultimately helped me select the best pair of glasses that fit my look were all super friendly with such positive attitudes. Ive used this location for the past 4 years now and I wouldnt go to any other location because the customer service at this location is really great, Im never disappointed with this team! Awesome service today. Shondraiya checked me in and out and was awesome (and patient when we discovered the paperwork I submitted online did not go through.) She was lightning fast, super friendly, and very helpful with service and questions. The doctor I saw (sorry, didnt catch her name) was also friendly, fast and thorough. Great service, only wish the frame selection had been better.

Amazing customers service. Five stars all around. As soon as I walked through the door I received a friendly greeting. The doctor listened to my concerns and addressed all of my questions. Autumn helped me with all of my paper work and made sure I had all the receipts I needed for my insurance. There was another associate there as well. She has worked for the company for 3 years, at multiple locations and was very helpful when checking me in for my visit. I wish I could remember everyones named that helped me because it was one of the best experiences I have had at vision works. The other locations I have visited had very aggressive sales associate that tried to pressure you into promotions, sales and offers. They also dont treat you as well. At the Golden Ring location, they treat you with respect, kindness and listen to your concerns. I will definitely be returning.

I come Here every year and this was by far the worst. First, they didn’t have my information when checked in even though I been Here before. I was Not told that It would be a telehealth appointment until I got There. I asked For a summary of my visit that was never given to me. So when I’m trying to call the store to actually talk to a real person, I have to talk to an automated person that keep asking me if I want To set an appt. 20 mins later I still didn’t get to talk to an actual person. Why would anyone want to come to an office that’s so impersonal. Why would you want to come somewhere where you have to talk to an automated person. This was horrible. I’m honestly never coming back here. As someone who works in eye care, this is terrible.

I just had a pleasant visit! Actually the conversation was so good, I didnt want to leave. The Dr. was very helpful and explained things very well. Shondraiya was wonderful and has a great sense of humor and very knowledgeable. Actually wish I could have stayed longer. It was very refreshing working with such great people.Watched a few other interactions with customers while I was there and the staff here is great.This is the 2nd time i have been to Vision Works in a couple of years and will not hesitate to go back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

They were great! Very busy but very personable and helpful! They were able to answer all of my questions!

I was rushed through the testing. I had ordered 2 pairs of glasses taking advantage of the BOGO offer. I ended up paying $540. Both pairs were to have transition lenses. The lenses were either not done or done poorly. I had set done in 2017.I kept telling the technician the lenses shouldnt allow for my eyes to be seen, but she ignored me. Eventually I had to send both glasses back for the lenses to be done correctly. After I got them back they still poorly. You can see my eyes in full sunlight. I dont want to send them back because I need them. I understand that all businesses arent running at full capacity because of the pandemic. but I am paying out of pocket, I want them, done correctly. I am not going back next time I am getting them done through the internet. My advice is that you should get them done somewhere else.

I visited this store for my annual exam and to get new glasses. The staff were very friendly but unfortunately I had to use their restroom while there. It was so bad it changed my entire impression of them. I was so disgusted I had to take photos. First it smelled strongly of stale pee, secondly the floor and base of the toilet obviously hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long. There were layers of dried urine all over the floor, toilet base and walls. I’ve seen gas stations with cleaner bathrooms. Then there’s the “example “ frames. I assumed that they cleaned them between customers as they give you a tray to put all the frames you touch into, whether you like them or not. Given all the layers of smudges on many of them Ifeel safe in betting they aren’t cleaned between customers. Given the current COVID environment I can’t understand why they would be so careless.I recommend going somewhere else for your exam and glasses. I will never visit another Visionworks and you can be darn sure I will tell everyone about this experience.

I had the pleasure of working with the whole staff at the vision works in golden ring mall. After fabulous service from everyone. Shondraiya put the icing on the cake. After her many tries of finding out what works best for me and my daughter. We ended our day with lots of laughs. I can truly say the team as a whole is outstanding.

My initial visit was great. Fast friendly service. This was pre-covid and everything was very smooth. However, I lost my glasses recently and Ive been calling for a week to simply reorder a new pair and cant ever get through. Nobody will pick up the phone. After about 20-30 minutes holding the line every time, I just give up.Update: called today 10/5, answered on the first ring! The young lady i spoke with was pleasant but wasnt able to fill my request. I spoke with Mark and he was sympathetic and took care of my issue immediately! Thank you!

My son and I had the pleasure of being attended by the fabulous, upbeat Shondraiya. She was a lot of fun and made the process of looking for glasses for a young adult with autism painless and comfortable. My son doesn’t like change. Getting a new pair of glasses took months of convincing him. Shondraiya gave us space and the appropriate guidance to make him feel comfortable enough that within minutes my son had made a choice. Come here for our glasses love the new doctor but i spent 600 on 3 pair of glasses my son got his but i cant get in here to get mine they havent been open cant get anyone on the phone and no ine has called to say they closed or why... i just need my glasses so i can see im not happy at all

I had an appointment yesterday, the staff was extremely helpful & friendly. This location has a large variety of frames so you will most likely find what youre looking for. Shondraiya assisted me with finding the perfect frames and she gave me her opinion on each one that I picked out, definitely ask for her when you visit.

The entire staff is extremely professional and approachable, as well as friendly! I was in and out of there in a flash today, and got my glasses just as fast! Would definitely recommend this location to any of my friends looking for a place to go get their eye needs taken care of.

The representative provided inaccurate information. Based on that information I spent nearly my full Saturday morning picking up my prescription from my optometrists office and returning to Visionworks just to be told the information was wrong. Rather than offer me a discount for my troubles they sent me on my way.

I had the pleasure of having Shondraiya assist in tightening my glasses and fixing my lenses. She tightened my glasses at least 6 months ago and I hadn’t had to come back. So it was refreshing to see her this most recent time because I know that her work is impeccable. She has excellent customer service and I can tell that she really loves what she does! Thank you!!!

I had a really pleasant experience at this location. I scheduled an eye exam the day of using their online system and I was seen right away. When I entered the store I was greeted right away. Since I filled out the paperwork online, all I had to do was sign a couple things. I only waited for about 5 minutes and was called right back. The doctor was very pleasant and made me feel comfortable. After the exam I was handed off to Dottie (I think thats her name), and she was the BEST!!! She made sure she was there to answer all of my questions, and I didnt feel pressured to pick any certain type of lens. She was very thorough in checking what my insurance covers and saved me a LOT of money.

I worked with an Eye Wear Specialist by the name of Shondraiya. She was AWESOME. Her service was thorough and friendly. I would definitely recommend people to go to this location and ask for service from her or any of the other specialists!!

I had an appointment on 1/31 and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I typically go here once year and Ive always had a nice enough experience but I would like to say that Shondraiya does an excellent job. There was a hiccup with the system being down and while working with IT, greeting customers, explaining the situation, and calling customers to try and reschedule she handled everything with class. I would also like to note that all the staff in the store were friendly, professional, knowledegable, not overly pushy with the offers and professional.

Service was impeccable even when they were short staffed. Every team member was attentive to the customers and kept checking on customers. I’d recommend anyone to visit this location

This place is a joke. I scheduled wo appointments and was asked to provide insurance information. I gave with no problem however when I got to my appointment with my kid, I was told there was an issue with both of our insurances. Dang ok, Ill figure that out on Monday but what was the point of asking to verify before the appointment if you wasnt going to and call before I wasted time and gas coming here.
