Ive been going to Dr. Susan Tran for about two years now. Office staffs are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Tran is lovely, knowledgable and very detail oriented. I was able to get my new glasses in 2 days. Price has always been competitive. Appointments are hard to get though as she is very busy.
Ive been wearing glasses since the 4th grade, and Im in my mid 40s now.My younger brother is a practicing optometrist, that does research into the field. Suffice to say Ive been to my share of optometrists, and know a thing or two about getting my eyes checked. My wife and I just visited Dr. Trans office earlier this week (December 2020) to get our eyes examined. A couple of things you need to know.Dr. Tran is the best Ive seen in recent years. She really cares about your eyes and your health. Some people may find that a bit too much, but for me its refreshing compared to my last doctor in SGV.She explains things really well and offers information that you probably didnt know which is helpful not just for eye care but also personal health and well being.Yes, their office is open in limited capacity, so make your appointments as soon as you know when you can go. They really need to space out their appointments for everyones protection during this pandemic. We booked weeks ahead of time, and when my wife and I arrived, its like we were VIP (whole place practically to ourselves). If you havent had your eye checked recently (as in within the last year), get the the Optomap (Its roughly $40 and worth it). Dr. Tran will also explain to you why its important, but trust me, the technology has advanced to such a level that it feels as though its as important as an annual checkup for your overall health, not just your eyes. Plus side is with this technology, no dilation is necessary.Their lens options are definitely up-to-date with the current trends and advancements and offer options no longer offered by Costco (where I got my last pair of glasses). But, at additional cost. To me, my eyes are everything so I tacked all the options, and highest grade possible (I need high index because my eyes are poor) which meant my lenses came out to be about $300, which is right in line with what I expected to pay.Frames are of course additional with various discounts depending on your insurance coverage -- and they have a lot of styles to choose from. It was easy to find about a dozen or so that would work with my Asian face, and big head (my temple size is 145-150). With the help of my wife and Dr. Tran, we narrowed it down to what I hope to be my perfect pair for the next few years. We expect to receive our glasses in about two weeks or so (but we may be out of town). Will update when we get them!
DR. TRAN IS A WONDERFUL OPTOMETRISTThe staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They are super helpful and dont mind doing extra like tightening glasses etc. Dr. Tran takes the time to listen to what youre saying and explains things to you. Shell give you her honest opinion without pressuring you, which I know everyone would appreciate. She never makes you feel rushed during an appointment even during a busy day.I Love this place!
Dr. Tran is a wonderful optometrist! Very friendly, knowledgeable, made me feel right at home. The staff crew is also great and knew what looked good on me. I highly recommend this office.
I was in need of new glasses since my other pair was very outdated. I came to rosemead optometry and was so happy I did! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Tran was very knowledgeable and professional. My exam went smoothly and I was super impressed by the value I got! I got my glasses and I have never seen clearer! I wish I could give this place more than 5 starS!
The service, the ladys made me feel like we were family . all smiles and positive energy, I always leave feeling better then when I walked in . I look amazing with my new glasses . NOW I CAN SEE !!!!
Woowww!!! This was an overall amazing experience. From the 1st moment that I walked in the front office was very professional, (I hate it when front office is RUDE or playing with their phones). Not the case here!! The waiting room has beautiful DECOR and there are even computers to pass the time on and even a TV, (Cant switch he channel, but no biggy). I have been to other Optometrist offices before and they treat you more like cattle and the front door is like a revolving door of just another paycheck. Here it was a completely different experience thanks to Dr. Susan Tran, I truly felt that she cared about my concerns and that she was really trying to help me achieve maximum results in being able to see better. When it came down to buying a pair of glasses I never felt pressured, (I hate it when it feels like a car dealership). I was simply explained all the benefits of the frames and lenses and then I made my own educated decision. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking to get the most value for their money while getting great customer care
One word: Awesome.
Terrible customer Service bought glasses and frames left numerous messages never received a call back Anna receptionist said maybe the dr will call you after they close but she doesn’t know how busy she will be, maybe next week. What kind of business are they running over there? They do not guarantee their product, service or frames, material is cheap! Do not go their!!!
Awesome specs and service!!!
