I got fresh donuts! Yay!Made a nice little desert after great authentic Mexican food next door at Viva grill!They know how a nacho is done right!

Small mom and pop donut shop located all the way down San Gabriel Blvd in Rosemead. Probably wouldnt even have known about this place had it not been for some food pages and Yelp; plaza has several other shops, but businesses didnt seem too crazy on a Tuesday afternoon. San Gabriel Blvd is also super busy, so its very easy to miss the plaza if youre not aware of where youre going.It seems like San Gabriel Donuts popular items are the cream puffs and blueberry donut holes. I called ahead and unfortunately all the donut holes were sold out, but they did have two boxes of cream puffs available - which shed hold for me until I arrived.The donut selection was pretty slim by late afternoon, but they still had the glazed, sugar, cinnamon selections as well as some fritters and cinnamon rolls. Prices are not too bad as well, with donuts running at around $1.10 and rolls at $1.95. They also offer croissant and bagel sandwiches as well as coffee, milk teas, and smoothies.A dozen cream puffs are now $6, which is a very good deal - it seemed they were taken out of the fridge, as the box had some condensation. I was a little disappointed to see that not all the cream puffs were the same - there was the light fluffy doughy ones, but there was also maybe about 5-6 donut holes that were filled with cream. Maybe they ran out of the light dough used for cream puffs and had to replace them with donut batter, but the texture and taste were definitely different.The fluffy cream puffs are definitely super airy and light - I would say that theyre similar to the ones I enjoyed from a West Covina store. The filling of whipped cream was not too sweet, with the powdered sugar giving each bite that extra kick of sweetness. Can easily eat several in one sitting if Im not paying attention. By the next day though, these cream puffs were a little less fresh, so its best to eat them the day of.The donut filled cream puffs were not too tasty - donut was already a little stale and didnt taste too great coming from the fridge. Felt like the texture was a bit chewy and bready.Dozen assorted donuts are $12 while blueberry donut holes are $3 per dozen. Definitely feel like they have a ton of local customers who stop by to pick up their morning treats. Theres a ton of beverages in the refrigerated section upon walking in; seems like they installed plexi-glass and a barrier as well to ensure safety.tl;dr - Highly recommend their cream puffs! Make sure you call ahead to ensure that they still have cream puffs/donut holes available. And hopefully the cream puff combination with donut hole cream puffs was just a one time thing.

This place is great, they make their sandwiches hot. The donuts fresh, and always friendly. They are known for their blueberries donuts, blueberries holes blueberries regular blueberries every way here. This is my number 1shop for me. 💓💓🤗🤗 Ive know the owner for years now, they always remember my kids and ask about them, and give them a lil something every time. There is no where else I would ever go.

This place is great. The people are nice and kind to my kids. They are closed sunday, they sell good cappuccinos. They have good donuts and are know for their blueberry donuts.

I used to go here every morning for milk tea with boba it was like my coffee in the morning and when I moved out here to las vegas nevada about 10 years ago I have not found a place all this time that makes them right so everytime I go to cali I always stop here its been a few years tho so when I found out my mother in law was coming out here I begged her to stop here and get me some! I guess when she stopped they remembered me (I dont know how that looks on me lol) but it made my day I am now sitting here enjoying the best milk tea from my favorite place!
