Its a donut shop with a gimmick. 99.9% of items were drenched in glaze (as if sugar is the only taste worth sharing). I got a small 3 unglazed cake donut ($2.75). The chocolate flavor was pedestrian, but the texture and crumb were fine. I wouldnt exactly call this place a patisserie, and bakery is a even a stretch. Its a donut shop laced with glaze and flavored creme. But hey - some people like that. Not judging - but still looking.

I really wanted to like it.. its a great concept similar to Psycho Donuts in the San Jose/Campbell area. Its cute and a novel idea, but I wasnt wild about the donuts... The shot though!!! Clever and fun.

The plan was to go get some dinner from Tandori Nights which is a few doors down from Bad bakers. My friend has been to Bad Bakers before, she has been there numerous times and said I should try it so we did.My friend raved about the bread rolls specifically, they have a sweet glaze on them. I was not expecting them to be that good but I was pleasantly surprised. They also make donuts with a shot, I did not get a chance to try them but I will for sure the next time I am in Roseville. I took the tolls home and my family liked them a lot.Due to covid the rules are just three customers go in at a time. I could tell they were really popular because I saw customers were buying about two boxes each. Once we got in a line a few more people got there and we were all waiting, it was not that long of a wait so it was fine. I could tell that they were definitely a popular place which is of course an indication that there stuff is good. They also sold some merchandise at the store which consisted of shirts, some mugs and I think some bottles also. I forgot to take photos of that also, but next time for sure.

This place probably has more appeal to a younger crowd who dont blink at paying more for trendy, really sugary treats. I was hoping for a simple glazed cronut with the cream injector, but everything was loaded with tons of confections on top. We decided to split a Bananarama, and it was messy but tasty (wish the injector had been full).

I wasnt pleased with the Donuts. Different taste. The bread was ok. Quite pricey as well.

AMAZING! We ordered 2 bakers dozens with injectable fillings for my 9 year olds birthday party. I asked the woman on the phone to pick out the assortment as I have never had them before. They were a total hit! Everyone raved about them and had so much fun with it! I will absolutely use them for future dessert needs! Thank you for the amazing customer service!

With a name like BAD Bakers, I knew we had to try this place, but I had no idea what to expect. Let’s just say I was so happy we went!! I loooove the show Breaking Bad and finding out this shop is inspired from that made it so much better, so if you’re a Breaking Bad fan you gotta go here. They have donuts themed after the show and a really fun feature is some donuts come with little syringes full of icing/filling that you put into the donut yourself. So fun!! Also, I’ve never had spanish bread before but I tried it here and holy cow is it good!!! So unique and addicting!

Tasty mix of eclectic donut creations. The injection cremes were yummy. Get there early for the fresh product. Price was a bit $$$ for donuts but the experience is one to have.

After eating 13 syringed stuffed donuts Mason lifted up the box someone had some fun all he saw was an empty box and empty tubes. Yea that good!

It was a bit too sweet for me I bought an entire box for my family and yes the Spanish bread is the favorite. When I read the reviews I didn’t know what Spanish bread was( it’s just sweet bread with like melted sugar inside) but it was the best thing there. Also the fillings were custard like and I don’t like custard. Love the vibe tho and customer service was good:) it’s like an 8/10 but my family thought it was too sweet so I have a lot of left overs to deal with. I suggest by 3 at max because it may be too sweet to handle even for a family of 7

Definitely one of the most unique sweet experiences Ive ever had.. On the surface they look like a simpledonut shop, but the are far from being a simple donut shop. They also had Mexican baked goods.. Hello panaderia..Tried their conchas.. sweet bread, as well as a Snickers raised donut.. Simple perfection. My donut even came with a syringe to inject it with one of three filings..I chose barvarian creme.. Yum..

Beware. Menu says they have gluten free donuts but its only when they decide to make them. Drove out of my way to try the donuts here and they said they didnt make any gluten free donuts. Huge waste of time.

Wandered in here around closing since we had dinner in the area, and we were pleased they still had a decent selection of donuts. Honestly price seems a touch high (Im so used to the good old mom and pop donut shops that are stepping up their game with flavor selections), and I found the little injectables to be a bit wasteful (not a fan of single-use plastics), but it was kind of a cool concept. Maybe they can just offer to fill them for you with a pastry bag ? We didn’t really end up using them for the donuts we got, but I can see how they’d be good for some of the other selections. Vibe and decor were awesome, donuts had fun flavors and were tasty, customer service was very helpful and friendly, and as a Filipino-American, loved that they incorporated some flavors and selections inspired by the islands.

Love this place! Their caramel mochi donut is a must try!

Great stop to hit before heading out on the Miners Ravine Trail. Donuts & savory treats were very nice quality and held up just fine to enjoy a day later. The empanadas deserve a special mention, very tasty. Shop was clean and even with limited staff was getting people served and out the door efficiently.

Crazy right?I gotta say totally worth the drive for some of their Spanish bread! The customer service was a 10. The doughnuts were a 10. Just overall a very good experience. Will definitely be back here for more

Duuuuude, this bakery is So good! I travel a half hour for them and thats saying something good because I am not a big donut person, But I crave these donuts Anytime! Then theres a Starbucks nextdoor! The Perfect combo and is why this spot is so cool! I wish I lived closer! 🤣 but then again I would probably be here all of the time!

Donuts were great! Loved the concept of choosing your own filling and being able to fill the donut yourself. Combinations galore! Cant wait to go back and try different things!

I wasnt blown away. My bacon doughnut was just ok....nothing special. Once the novelty of injecting your doughnut with your chosen filling is over all you have is a decent-tasting doughnut. If you live by and stop by Starbucks next door then I can see you getting a doughnut but I dont think Im going to drive out of my way next time. The parking lot sucks in my opinion.

Very good donuts and rolls, but pricy and selections are limited compared to most donut stores. Wait times can also get long. The kind of place I will treat my family to occasionally, but not to pick up donuts for the office.

Frikin delicious every time. I wish there was a location nearer to my house, but still I will gladly drive out of my way to stop by for some Spanish rolls. Whenever my friends visit from out of state I always make sure to grab some Spanish rolls for them.

Ok, I have to be honest, I didnt know that this place even existed until my brother stopped by with a box of their hot stacks. I thought they looked like nothing special but boy was I wrong. I went by Saturday morning early and went inside to see display cases full of exotic donuts and cronuts with optional injectable fillings for certain pastries. I personally have been on a quest for the best Devils Food cake donuts and have tried them all for miles around and this place hands down are the best. There are two types of Devils food donuts here, one with chocolate glaze and one regular glaze. The regular glaze was in my opinion better than the chocolate glaze as it proved to be less sweeter and a truer chocolate cake donut. The texture was near perfect and had an excellent finish. Their old fashioned donuts were cooked perfectly too and had the usual glazed varieties on hand. My only concern is that some of the donuts and cronuts are over frosted or glazed as some were too sweet for my taste and I wasnt looking to become a diabetic from them. Id love to see if they could offer plain glazed cronuts without anything else on them, but I understand that the unusual topped cronuts are their trademark. I will definitely be going back soon and trying others items. The stacks are worth stopping for all by themselves. Check em out, you wont be disappointed.

Absolutely my favorite bakery for sweet goodies. Whether you are a fan of decadent donuts (puts voodoo donuts to shame) or sweet spanish bread, this place has something for you. I always call in 10-15 minutes before I show up and they have no problem fulfilling a 50+ piece spanish bread. Staff is super friendly and provides excellent service every time. In my honest opinion, the spanish bread hear is way better than the other place.

I only had half my order in my bag so I paid for stuff I never got. Yes I should have checked. But they told us they only have crullers during the week. And when tried to get some they said they dont get them in any more... no crullers!!!! We wont go there anymore. Their not even friendly on the phone. One star is to much.

We bought a small box of stax, chocolate glazed doughnut with the shot of dulce, and strawberry crumble doughnut with the shot of cream. Flavors are amazing and the shots are a fun interactive take on the regular doughnut. I love to be entertained!

Holy cannoli Batman...they dont have cannolis but they definitely dont need them. So amazing and the filling injectors are absolutely a game changer. Never again will you get 3/4 of the filling in one little corner. Smores strawberry shortcake and the maple bacon are definitely making me go back

It was my first time going here and I had a subpar experience. The service was disappointing and some of the donuts seemed old. I didnt even realize that I had to buy the shots separately as the tag said raised donut with shot so either the girl didnt give me the shots or they need to make it more obvious that you have to buy the shots separately. Overall it was a disappointing experience considering the price.

Spanish rolls. Thats the only thing you should be getting from there. These are the best treats and they are always fresh and cheap. There are other donuts and pastries, but I highly recommend Spanish rolls. Everyone is nice and all the food is really good too, but the main highlight is these Spanish rolls.

I stumbled on this place by accident going to get gas. The donuts are fresh fresh and you put you own shot of filling in your donut. The Spanish rolls are to die for. Put it this way after the first day I was in there every day.

They have many choices for those with food allergies such as gluten-free &egg-free choices on the menu. Friendly staff and delicious food.

If you want cheap doughnuts, go elsewhere, but thats what you will get.(cheap stuff)BAD bakers is pricey but the doughnuts are great quality and the Spanish rolls are delicious.Be prepared to spend extra money on great doughnuts!!

This is my Favorite location. Been the other spot and didnt feel welcomed. Came in and bought a 1/2 dozen doughnuts and some senorita breads and those came out in 30 sec and were hot and fresh.

Took the donuts to the office and everyone loved them... And since I brought them in, i didnt feel so bad about cutting a small piece off each flavor to try it :)They were all so good, but the fruity pebble and the BOC are both at the top of my list.

I love their food. It is amazing. However, this last time visiting the gal behind the counter didnt bag my food. She handed me an empty bag and left to help someone else. My food was on the counter, some spilling out of the wrapper, touching the counter where people pay, everyone leans there.. It was disgusting. It would have taken her 5 seconds. Customer service is extremely lacking.
