I would not recommend Captain Kool unless you have a back up plan. I reserved an ice cream three weeks before my event giving my credit card for deposit. Received confirmation call back and confirmation of cart size. When I called to place ice cream order one week prior to event, as instructed, they did not have my paperwork, had no idea what happened to my credit card deposit and had no carts available tor me. In addition the first person trying to find my paperwork assured me that even if they couldn’t find it we could start over and they had carts available. Several hours later they still hadn’t been able to locate the paperwork but now had no carts. Horrible!!!!

One of their trucks came down my street today… the lady was texting and driving…. IN AN ICE CREAM TRUCK! She didn’t even notice my kids waving the truck down. That’s a recipe for disaster. I took the info of the truck down, and will be calling when they’re open tomorrow.

I loved working for pat, but 2 yrs ago,he didnt know what he was doing, he wasnt the same pat I knew 15 yrs. I hope he gets along with people,he has a bad temper, towards his employees. Accuses people of stuff. Good luck who ever works for him.

My family is looking around for ice cream trucks i only called to ask, if they rent out to people. Never have I felt so insulted about asking a general question. Sorry I wasted time out of my day to call. Must be nice getting payed to be rude to someone wanting to be a customer....not even worth giving a single star, but I had to mark something. They deserve ZERO stars and a bunch of flat tires. LEARN TO BE KIND! Awful customer service. The guys a real POS

My granddaughter and I rode our bicycles there thinking it had a walk up customer service, sadly it is wholesale only. However there was an extremely kind wonderful woman who went to her truck and gave my granddaughter a icecream . Thats customer service. My granddaughter spoke of her kindness the rest of the day.

If I could give a zero, I would. I booked for a truck for my daughters grad party weeks ago. They called me 3 hours before the event to tell me that they don’t service my area. I called the owner directly and he was the most god- awful, rudest person I have ever spoke to.

We gave a deposit 3 weeks ago and they called 3 hours before the party and canceled. Horrible business man!!

This drunk old man crashed his truck at the apartments up on embankment in Crystal Lake he was almost on Dequindre. Watch out for these white trucks .

My company hired them for an event and they never showed up! No phone call, no nothing. I even called and confirmed everything a week prior. DO NOT USE!
