I came here just to verify my id for a job then was going to go the Verizon next door to upgrade my phone. I noticed they carried phones here so I thought to kill two birds with one stone. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I got honesty with sense no of bias for me to buy anything in particular, only based on my questions and concerns. It’s very refreshing having this a I wanted make a review and I’m glad to see it’s well liked by others too. I will recommend this place to others east of the metro
I just picked up a ThinkPad with an expanded memory special order and had all of my data brought on to the new device. I needed some help with some applications and they were outstanding to work with given my concerns. This is the fourth time I have taken my entire small business system to them and had them transfer everything for me onto a new system. I highly recommend them to you. They are professional, responsive, and they provide terrific value. I trust them implicitly with upgrading to a new system as a small business person.

Charged $199 to recover data from my laptop after reassuring they could work it out. On second day asked to pay extra $150 for advanced data recovery, which I didnt.(UPDATE):Talked to the manager later and was refunded $89. I was delighted with the excellent service, professionalism and friendly, courteous manner in which I was treated. I was given great assistance by Kofi and also by the manager of the store. Both went out of their way to help me fix my cell phone. Kofi is a fine staff member who gave outstanding attention to my concern. I felt that the employees apply creative ways to solve problems and they seem to think outside the box more than other companies do. Everyone was kind, helpful and very saavy with all types of technology.I was also quite impressed with the work ethic of the employees. I discovered that if they are unable to fix a problem, they often dont charge for the service provided. This behavior is extremely rare in business, but it was refreshing and inspiring to find a company that truly wants to help solve your technical problems, and your relationship with them is not all about how much money they can make from you, but rather how well they can serve you. Such a work ethic should be an example to other businesses. This company deserves your business and I hope that they will succeed in a huge way. They sincerely value their customers and strive to provide a superior level of service and satisfaction to everyone who enters their doors. My experience with them was wonderful and uplifting, far beyond just getting the technical assistance I sought. I give them the highest recommendation.

We had an absolutely awesome experience here. My wifes computer was overheating and we brought it in without an appointment. The staff were courteous,, friendly, and knowledgeable. We brought it in on a Friday evening, and it was ready by Monday afternoon. It only took that long because they had to order in a custom cooling unit. Alphonso, our technician(possibly manager or owner as well), took great care with the computer and handed it back cleaned and working perfectly. Considering the level of service and care, the price was very reasonable, and we will consider Computer Revolution our go to repair shop from now on.
The individuals who work here are dedicated and knowledgable. The problem is the organization. I gave them my computer and waited two weeks for them to diagnose the issue. I called multiple times because I was told it would take one to two days. The final result was that they could not find a problem and that I would need to pay more for them to diagnose it completely. I am fine with the results, but I never received a call from them to update me, I always had to call and each time they could not find my information in the system etc. Organizational improvement would make Computer Revolution a real resource in Roseville. Until then, it is a sub par establishment with dedicated employees.

Absolutely the worst customer service experience Ive ever had. I literally had to pick up my computer and take it to another place. Aftee almost 2 weeks, 4 times theyve said it would be ready and lied, failed to call back, and even said I should come in just to answer questions. Ive noticed a lot of recent reviews about no call backs and taking over 2 weeks to fix a computer. They are true unfortunately. These guys do not.know what they are doing. Dont go here.Edit: Getting my computer back today and they didnt think to make a list if programs Ive installed. Seriously. Dont go here.

The techs work hard to get service efficiently. Its not a big box store so the attention is one on one and friendly.
The three gentlemen that helped me and a friend look at an old hard drive went above and beyond (this really is an understatement in today’s customer service landscape) to help us look at it and identify some of the issues before we would have otherwise misplaced my money on an adapter that would not have worked. The funny thing is, instead of buying the $30 adapter, I walked out with about $150 of other stuff bc they were so likable and professional that I felt a legitimate ‘want’ in me to support their business. I absolutely would recommend
The folks at the counter were super helpful and went out of their way to advise me of my options even though some options didnt include their own services. I found selfless help and they even let me use a computer while I waited. There is even a TV lounge. They offered to fix my phone right while I watched if I preferred. Thanks team!

My nephew took his laptop in that was not charging properly. He spent $99 for a diagnosis. A full week later it has been total crickets. I have called multiple times and each time I’m told someone would call me back. Still waiting. The poor kid is back in college and he has no computer! To not even get a DIAGNOSIS back after charging an exorbitant amount on it is completely unacceptable! These guys might be fine to fix a cracked screen on a cell phone, but clearly they don’t know what they’re doing when it comes to computers.
Customer service was awesome and the turn around in services was excellent. My computer was repaired the same day I dropped it off. Quick turn around, I left the computer in morning and was done by late afternoon
I went in yesterday to do some preliminary research about buying a new laptop. Worked with Andy Gendreau who was super helpful and patient with my many questions. Went back today, got some more good help from him and bought a laptop on the spot. Much easier and with less stress than ever before.

After my phone did a perfect 3 and a half dive from my vest pocket on to our slate porch I was in shock. Luckily, I had just purchased cell helmet liquid glass screen protection from the good people at Computer Revolution. When I called to ask about a screen replacement the folks at Computer Revolution told me to come in and theyd take care of it. I drove directly there and within the hour my phone was completely fixed and I was out the door. No hassle, just fine workmanship, friendly voices and a crystal clear phone. Excellent service with a smile. Just what I hoped for and more.
I had an excellent experience with this company and especially with the enormously talented and professional help from Michael Jackelen. He gave me a fair estimate and advised me on what to do when all hope was lost to fix my cell. He stayed many minutes after store closing time to finish the data transfer from the damaged phone to the new one. Great service, I highly recommend it.
Reliable store, plenty of inventory, knowledge across a wide variety of devices and services. FYI i saw a bad post and it made me try to help correct it because they gave 1` star and i understand if they broke your broken device the issue would be understandable. But this person left it there for weeks, not checking on update. Also person seemed to be aggressive so i think they were posting a false claim, or over exaggerating. I have a degree in IT that i graduated with a 4.0. With the little knowledge i know i can say this store has great resources. Check my profile i rarely ever put a review but i felt it was needed. What made the service fantastic was that I was also given an honest opinion on the potential outcome of my computer repair so I could make an informed decision. So awful. They had my computer for over five weeks and said they couldnt fix it. There were parts missing when they returned it. Their customer service was awful. I brought it to Psinergy Tech Warrior in Little Canada and they had it fixed within a week. I tried to contact management about my issues at Computer Revolution and never got a response. These people really dont know what theyre doing.
Wednesday and Thursday of last week I called in checking on my laptop- both days they said “we got the part in today and will have it ready tomorrow”. It’s now Monday and has been 2 weeks for this ‘5 day fix’. I’m already frustrated because I need my laptop for work, so this run-around they’re giving me is very annoying
Called about an iPad pro screen repair on the phone they said it would be about $300 to replace it.I get in the store and they said hey we need to do diagnostics first and that is $60. Since the lights and everything else were coming up.Dont get a call for over a week and then FINALLY after calling them about it they say it is going to be an Additional $590 to repair the screen. Total bait and switch and bad customer service. At that price you can just go to the Apple Store across the street and have it Repaired.I am sad about it because I use to work there and it seems to have gone way down hill.

Saw great reviews and decided to give it a shot. We were very disappointed because they NEVER followed up if they wont make the targeted repair dates, etc. Please have some courtesy and give the customers a status update if youre going to be delayed in delivering or if theres an issue. Had to call them more than twice. Also, a couple of screws were missing from my laptop. Overall, I was expecting better. Maybe they were busy at the time or maybe they felt it was okay to slack off on their services...
Our office has been using Computer Revolutions services for almost 12 months and we are extremely satisfied with their professionalism, knowledge and immediate service. I myself am very computer illiterate and they come running to my rescue when ever I need it. They also provided us with an excellent choice for a new computer and an error free, easy to operate printer, copier, fax machine that replaced the one from _____! Jared had personal knowledge of my kind of video card and found my computer wackiness in line with what hed seen before.The certified tech was also there that evening and was able to hook me up with a new card while I waited, cleaned the cat hair out of the case, and I went home with a clean, happy, perfectly WORKING computer. Andy was able to walk me through purchasing a new computer and then transferring my data over to the new computer. These folks are indispensable! Very honest and knowledgeable staff. Brought several pcs to them, with very good results. Also if they cant repair it, or if repair cost higher than cost of replacement, they offer good advice and dont waste your time and money.

You know that feeling when you think your phone just died and you have pictures that you never backed up? PANIC, to say the least. I went in to get an opinion of what was going on with my phone, going in and out, not holding a charge long enough to back anything up. They tested it, calmed me down, gave alternatives, FIXED MY PROBLEM!!! And did it all with such a great attitude.I know it was a better experience than I would have had at the big box store. They cared that I was worried and did everything they could, and they enjoyed being computer geeks, it showed in their work.Thank you so much!I will go back and recommend them to everyone!

Yesterday I visited this business for the first time; it will not be the last. I am an older widow who has almost no knowledge of computers or printers other than word processing and playing games. My timeworn printer had stopped working and I knew I needed a new one.Jay of their staff helped me by figuring out my printer needs and was able to provide me with a used printer at a great price that totally meets my requirements. Other members of the staff were friendly and very accommodating, as well.This is a great new discovery and I highly recommend Computer Revolution.
Computer Revolution is my one stop shop for anything computer related whether it be a purchase, repair or tech services. They also fix cell phones and I am very happy with that service as well. A friendly, efficient staff that has the knowledge to get things done at an affordable price.
Computer was stuck in a blue screen of death loop; the big box store told me my hard drive was fried and would need to be sent out for full data recovery (which starts at about $700!). Thought Id get a second opinion and I am SO glad that I did!Computer Revolution was able to get my hard drive spinning and reading within a few minutes of my arrival. Even more impressive, they were able to do a full transfer from my old hard drive onto new. All of this (new equipment and labor) was very reasonably priced.I could not have been more impressed with their patience, technical knowledge, or impeccable customer service. Plus the fact that they were able to save all of my files makes me a very happy customer!
I have been to this store a couple of times because my iphone wasnt charging when I plugged it in. Both times, I received very prompt service from the store manager Michael. Not only was he very nice, he fixed the problem and refused to accept any money for his services. If you are having any problems with your iphone, i.e. your screen is broken, your phone doesnt charge or whatever, you would be doing yourself a disservice by not checking this place out. When I found that there was a host of data lost after a simple installation of an external card which turned out that I did not needed. Then, I was told my computer crashed during the final stage, but that employee quickly recounted by saying everything is fine after a system restore.For the record, it was my computer that no one has access to do the restore which the store told me someone else did. First thing I found missing was all the downloaded Amazon music, and I discovered 13 month worth saved e-mails and save documents were nowhere to be found.A business manager volunteered to restore and subsequently, I did not have an access to my daily computer use for additional 5 days. On both promises, they failed to deliver.When I got my computer back,I realized delete recovery was lengthy but useless. I could not open any of 2,337 files (47.7 GB). Besides days of without use of computer for the recovery, which caused a great deal of inconvenience, the so-called recovered files was simply a no recovery. I wonder why the files were not checked before delivering the computer. When they realize the recovery attempt was a failure, they asked additional time to work on it further.After 2 weeks, Computer Revolution informed me it could not be successful. I did not see there was a genuine effort on their part. When I came to a conclusion that Computer Revolution posses rather a limited capacity and failed to deliver a satisfactory outcome, despite a promise by an owner, I decided to share my experience with the public. It has been a nightmare I do not wish the unsuspecting consumers to go through it.Now, I am going to replace this infected computer of mine with a new one. Sigh!(Updated comment)Despite what the store owners’ response said, it was for a complete diagnostics with a tuneup, but was told I need to purchase of USB and install it. They have not only did not performed a simple task in a timely manner, but also ruined my computer. When the issue was brought up to the store owner, he then mentioned the store has no capability of recovering lost data/file and asked for $230 to send out to a specialty shop without any assurance, which I refused to accept.I had to purchased a new desktop because of their negligence. The loss of some 200 downloaded songs alone exceeded $200.Their response should not be viewed as a genuine effort to correct the mistakes they made, rather an attempt for a coverup of their failings.
I had a great experience here. The staff are kind and helpful. I called in frantic over my laptop and they were reasonable and reassuring. I brought it in and he went over the options for what it could be and what could be done. He took the time to go over the pros and cons of each option. He conversed with the technician and they were confident they could resolve the issue. At no point did I feel pressured or hurried even though I was really anxious about the computer. It was fixed overnight. Super friendly, personable service, and great prices. I recommend this place to anyone who has a computer problem and wants to be treated with respect and not nickel and dimed to death. Thanks, guys!

He gave us information to make our decision and also told us about all the options available such for warranties and anti-virus.2 suggestions: 1) have techs available on weekends to install anti-virus. Seriously disappointed in how poor my experience was. I came in for a laptop repair, and was told it would take 3-5 days. 2 weeks later, they had no idea when the repair would be done, and blamed it on a vendor. Probably my worst experience in tech repair.

I just received my computer back from Computer Revolution today. I brought it in due to a Windows 10/driver compatibility issue, and they reverted it to Windows 8 with all of my data saved. It is working perfectly! I got it back in precisely the amount of time they promised (about 3 days turnaround - theyre pretty busy right now) at a fair price. I would recommend them to anyone. So, I brought my Samsung Tab into their shop because the wireless card would not access wifi. They opened it up and had it fixed the same day. Once it was fixed, I had given it away as a gift. As soon as I dropped it off there was a quick realization that the screen had spots on it that were no longer touch sensitive. I did not have time to bring it back in. Although, it was quickly returned to me, and sat on my table literally FOREVER!! By the time I brought it back to the shop, I assumed I would be told, I waited to long. Instead I spoke with an amazing Rep that apologized for it not working and was able to pinpoint the problem and assess the situation right away. These guys are great at what they do! I highly recommend them, and will be using them for anything and everything going forward!!! Also a HUGE thank you to the staff there. It is not easy being a mom of two and working 50 hours a week. The company laptop shut down and off this morning. Nothing I could do to turn it back on. This laptop had only been bought about 3 weeks prior.When it was brought back to Best Buy (from where it was purchased), the Geek Squad associate looked it over for damage, found none. Hit the power button a few times, plugged it in, hit the power button again. Then declared to me that the laptop was defective and needed to be sent to the manufacturer under the manufacturers warranty. Which would be a 2 - 3 week process. This does not work to run a business without a laptop for 2 weeks.It was suggested by a co-worker to go to Computer Revolution (formerly Computer Renaissance) in Roseville. Granted, I was a bit frantic when I walked in the door, but the staff immediately set to task to help me. While talking with an associate about services and prices, the owner, Mark Sommerfeld came over.Mark asked if he could try a few ideas first, he checked out the laptop, worked on it a bit, and the laptop magically turned back on. I double checked my files, and they were all still there. All-in-all, I was in the store for about 10 minutes; walked in with a Geek Squad labeled defective laptop, and walked out with my laptop working like nothing had ever happened!I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

As heavy users who arent techies their advice is spot on and they make it all understandable and accessible without patronizing. Yet we observe them talking shop with people who are higly informed. Went to Apple for a screen replacement and they told me I needed to replace the entire phone for $300+. Came here and got the screen replaced for a fraction of the price in about 10 minutes.Will definitely return and recommed
