Nice viewable displays, personnel were extremely helpful putting together a fence lumber quote. Wasted a trip to HD & the big L where supplies are limited and the customer service was also extremely weak, almost non existent, besides being turned away at HD because I wanted to walk into the normal entrance by the lumber area. Im not walking to the opposite end of the store to enter there to end up 20 from where I was standing. Berco just gained a lumber customer.

Great friendly service. Had everything I needed. Even loaded it on my truck. To bad the DMV doesnt have service like this. :-)

What a amazing staff and super helpful. From the inside sales that took the time to answer all my trivial questions, to the yard guys loading everything into my truck for me it was great. Great customer service and just a great selection of helpful staff. Id like to further say that the complete staff, even the office staff had appropriate ppe on- masks, at all times and did a very good job at social distancing at all times. You know the social distancing is correct when you see someone jump or skip out of the way when someone is too close. This is actually my 1st time Ive been able to use berco redwood on my personal home so Im very excited. After an initial review following a small error I was contacted within days of my first review to investigate into my complaint and immediately offered to make things right. I am very satisfied with the attention and customer service since contacted.Mistakes happen, and that is understandable, but it takes a great company to admit fault and hold themselves accountable and correct problems to earn back my confidence. An extremely rare quality in local businesses; for this I applaud Berco Lumber.I would not hesitate at this point to shop Berco again or recommended them to my friends and family based off of the quality of lumber and outstanding customer service.

Ive built my entire fence around my yard & got everything from Berco. The quality is great. The service is the best and they will help you figure out everything you as long as you have a length for the fence. A lot of moldings for interior and hardware for gates. I never go anywhere else for outdoor wood.

Helpful staff. Lots of inventory. Stuff is very well organized. Its off the main road so I would use Google Maps to get you there.

This is as honest a post as I can make. I don’t like giving negative reviews but in this case I feel it’s justified. I’m giving 2 stars not 1 because I think 1 star reviews are rarely taken seriously and seem more like disgruntled people who want to sink a business rather than give the public a heads-up. Berco was actually referred to us by a friend who had a positive experience. I will post pictures here on google of all the issues I describe below. I am also ignorant to the industry lingo and technical terms so I’ll describe things in layman’s terms.Went to the store/showroom to describe the redwood fence project and look we wanted. The staff was very helpful and recommended a product that consisted of (measurements are approximate for this review as I can’t recall the exact measurements given to us) an 8-foot long, 3-inch thick board sanded/finished smooth on both sides that is then cut/milled longways in half so when it comes out the other side you have two 8-for long boards 1-1/2” thick, with one side on each board being smooth and the other side being rough. The boards then get run through a type of router or something that bevels or rounds the edges for a nice smooth rounded edge on the smooth side. The smooth side is then supposed to be the side showing with the opposite rough side as the side facing the fence posts. We ordered over 70 boards for our project and the cost was over $2500.When the product was delivered and I started to unload the boards from their pallet, I noticed that the cuts were uneven. For example, some boards were 2” thick, while it’s counterpart was only 1” thick. Some boards were damaged, some boards were 7-1/2” wide, some were 7-1/4” wide, some were 7-3/4” wide. Lots of the boards had what looked to be material/wood chewed off the one end that was inserted into the mill; I can only assume this was the same carelessness that uneven measurements and different sized boards came from. I called Berco and they were very apologetic and understanding of our concerns, and said to separate the boards that we didn’t want and they would send a truck to pick up those ones and bring replacements. The manager then called me back later that day and said he was going to personally go into the yard and hand-pick all new boards and replace the entire load. Needless to say I was impressed with the customer service. But when the new load came, and I was unloading it, the same issues were evident in the first load. I proceeded to use the boards because the project had already taken a delay due to the replacement of the first load and I needed to get the fence built before my neighbor came back from vacation due to her dogs needing her backyard.The fence is done and looks good from far away, but if you get close you can see the imperfections in the boards, especially where the boards meet on the posts. Granted, some may say “it’s just a fence, what do you want?” or maybe I’m making too much of a stink over a fence, but if it was just a fence I could have built one using lumber/boards from a big box store and gotten the job done for a fraction of the price. We wanted a higher-end looking fence using higher end products. Unfortunately Berco supplied an inferior product not once but twice, and even after saying they’d make it right. Very disappointed and will be going elsewhere for the lumber for the back and opposite side fence Instill need to build. See pictures.

Really pricey. And because I was just a small customer picking up 8 sheets of lattice. I sat in the yard for over 30 minutes because they forgot about me.
