Best place for carne Asada and marinated chicken for tacos

I have been going there for a few years, lately, it has gone downhill in customer service. The older female cook has been rude several times, the checker who waited on me was argumentative and condescending when I asked why aren’t they giving me free salsa when I buy a dozen tamales. I explained that I go there often and always get a small tiny cup or two free and she said they have always charged and said they charge a dollar for 3. I’ll now take my business to La Esperanza even though it’s far. I don’t patronize egotistical rude disrespectful employees.

All you can eat tacos, they pack them full of yummy meat. Definitely be going back.

If you would like good street tacos this is the place. The butcher counter has some really good cuts. Great place to get your BBQ stuff.

I don’t know what’s up with all these reviews - this place is amazing. The employees are crazy polite, helped me every time I couldn’t find something, the fruits and vegetables are so fresh and good, and the prices are very reasonably low. This store is clean, and there’s always upbeat music playing that makes me feel like I’m at a birthday party. What’s not to like? (Also, they have good chocolate bars at the check out counter.)

They make you stand outside while somebody watches the door like a security guard. Requireyou wear masks in July almost a month after the mandate was lifted. They have 3 signs at the front door “mask is required regardless or vaccine status”. Then when they finally let you inside, it’s dirty and smelly. The line for the register and the line for the meat is not organized. The drinks inside the fridge were just barely cold.

Your typical mexican mini mart. Yes, a few items are a bit more expensive as with any small business (you cant expect walmart prices). I come here when Im looking for hispanic items that I will not find anywhere else. The meats and poultry here seem fresh since it seems to be what most come for. They have a variety of mexican brand items. I would come here again.

They always have the worse customer service. The girls are always more interested in the own conversation with each other and when u finally get 5heir attention they do it like they r making u a favor or giving u something for free. Like they dont realize that if it wasnt for customers they wouldnt have a job.I wish they had a supervisor or someone to 1st teach ther customer service and then manners. I like how comience is to me to have them close by, I like the products but they for sure need some structure.

Wouldnt serve me without a mask even though the statewide mask mandate is over they just lost a long time customer.

Masks arent required and if you require them, you have to provide then. Lost at least 70$ today.

Ive been in the placer county area for a few months now. I found this place and its the first place to have good asada tacos at a reasonable price. They have fresh meat, fruits, vegetables and mexican food types like hominy. They even have pupusas!

The ladies at Mercado were very helpful with my purchase of various foods.It is a very nice and very clean market.

What a gem! Tucked back and off Sunrise but it is worth finding. Produce is excellent and cheap the shinning star for us was the meat specifically the Carna Asada. I asked for a recommendation from the butcher and he led me straight to the holy grail! Cannot wait to try everything else!

Bunch of thieves, taking of vanish of people needs, they have no consideration for people only for money. I just went to buy this medication name Beyodecta B12 from Mexico, good tiredness, the make me pay 31 dollars plus tax. I found same exact medication in a different mex store 21 dollars with tax included. Not just that, tortillas, tomatoes, meat, everything thats essential for families, way expensive . Really? Karma exists.

If I go to this store is because I have no other options, they are expensive, grapes $11.00 a bag 🤯, when in others stores are less than that. And people who worked in the meat department, like today, bullies and laugh at customer. So this is my final stop to this store. I shouldnt give no star at all.

I pass by here frequently and I figured why not, Ill go in today. All I can say is wow, the food was delicious! My wife and I each had a ton of tacos and they were all amazing. We will be coming back soon for sure.

Asked for a burrito with shredded beef, came home was hard dried gound beef, put Thier salsa on it, after half a burrito stomach tore up, avoid this place.

Found this Mercado through a magazine at Home2Suites and wow it was worth the drive. They have good posole and carnitas and that sweet bread.

Great authentic market with fresh baked goods and a huge carniceria. They also make delicious hot food ranging from tamales to breakfast burritos and beyond.

Went to get duros (pinwheels) ended up getting a bit more.The tacos are delicious. Tortillas could have been cooked a lol longer so they dont go soft so fast.But we will definitely be going back for a few things. And try other things.
