This garage is the best I’ve been to in years. They got me right in and did an amazing job on a very difficult problem. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Don’t waste your time anywhere else.

I came to this business out of desperation. I had a slow leak on one of my tires, I ran over a screw. Unfortunately, I did not have the lug nut lock key for my wheels. Initially I went to Discount Tires, and they said they were unable to help me. Luckily this business was just down the street. I figured Id try them out, best decision of the day. Mike and Jason were beyond helpful, and more than professional. They went above and beyond to make me feel at ease. They were able to patch my tire, remove the lug nuts that were locked, and place new lug nuts on. All done in a timely and efficient manner.

Jason & his team offer A1 service. Quick and easy. Needed some help on a busy Sunday and they were able to schedule and fix my tire and change my oil. Highly recommended.

These guys get you what you NEED. Highly recommend their services over the competition. They even walked me through the alignment process for my tires. Also saved me a $1000 repair for my power steering fluid was near empty. Very satisfied.

Staff here is amazing! When you walk into the shop they greet you with such kindness which now a days you dont see alot of that happening. I needed my brakes done on my mothers vehicle and they took me back and showed me what all it needed and also a few other things that needed to be done. Great service and great prices. I love this place now. Especially when fritz is working. I spent allowing struggling to find a fix for my wifes car. Ever tire shop in the area quoted me over $100 and a weeks wait. We have a newborn and needed the car. Fritz heard me out and laid my options out in a clear way. He explained why the job could cos lt so much and recommend a plan of action. He was very helpful when I explained how I couldnt get everything done because of time and money. He worked with me to make sure my wifes car was running safe and got me out the door in time for work.

I recently had tires replaced at Mavis. The installation was done in the time quoted. I was impressed and scheduled an appointment for alignment and oil change. This is also was finished in the time quoted.The personnel was friendly and professional. I would recommend Mavis to everyone.

I was here for a flat and the guys here took care of me in getting a replacement. My first trip to this location was at the end of April to get new tires. That trip went smoothly and the tires were fine, but I noticed that they started feeling a bit weird. I decided to take my car back to Mavis as it was the same place that installed the tires, but the moment I walked in I was told by the employee youve been here before, we cant help you. leave in the most casual way possible. I was thrown back as this has never happened to me before so I just left and took my business elsewhere. Btw it ended up just being a balancing issue with my tire that was an easy fix.Im not sure what else was going on at the shop before i showed up, but Im just wondering what kind of business turns away a customer like that? Is this what they think quality customer service looks like? Hopefully this doesnt get taken down like their other 1 star reviews.

I brought in a vehicle which isnt mine to have the tires balanced before a 3 hour journey on the highway. Several issues were discovered upon getting the vehicle up on the lift, which changed my plans.Bottom line, Travis worked with me to get me some peace of mind, and documents the issues for the vehicle owner.

AVOID THIS DUMP BY ALL MEANS!! THEY LIE TO YOU. Keep your car and inspect things that don’t need to be. 7 hours to change 2 brake pads and rotors. After they told me 2 hours. I called every couple hours for an update and they just tell me an hour every time. This place has horrid customer service

I am originally from North Carolina. I have had 12 cars in my lifetime. So I consider myself decently knowledgeable about cars in general. There is also a certain trust that I place into the person who I trust to diagnose my vehicles. On top of all that, you expect a level of integrity and respect when you are patronizing a new place to have your vehicle serviced. None of these things happened when I visited this shop. I was told on the phone $99 per axle. It went from that to in person I was quoted $480. Not only that, they took the tires off and did not put a hubcap back on properly so I had to replace all four. Come to find out, I go to a completely honest shop that isnt driven by the bottom line and I am told that there is nothing wrong with the brakes at all. They adjusted and cleaned the rear drums for next to nothing. The icing on the this whole nightmare that I wish I did not live thru was the fact that there was a disgruntled customer who came ranting while I was there. That was a major red flag in and of itself. And the so-called manager, I think his name was Chris with the white lab coat on, is standing here smiling being cool pissing down my back the whole time telling me its raining. My point of saying Im from NC is, Ive never experienced anything to that degree. The worst thing Ive endured with a mechanic was them fixing something without telling me and charging me for it. And the only reason I was surprised is because it was more than I expected it to be. But the repair was essential. This is something different. This is an old fashioned shake down. This is an entity making up things as they go along. This is how mechanics get bad names. And I do not put it past them to mess up something on a car in order to get a return visit. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!

Went in 30 minutes before close in a Sunday and received absolutely incredible service. The team was helpful, friendly, informative, and did not pressure me to make a tough decision right away when I’m sure they were all ready to go home. A well deserved five stars.

I gotta say Mike the store manager went above today for me I came in with brake issue on my truck and he took care of me right away and I know alot of places are short staffed right now buy Mike got my truck in and did my brakes for me even tho he didnt have a mechanic on duty today. Had a slow leak in a tire. Getting a new car in a month and didn’t want to spend a whole lot on new tires. I was really worried I’d be oversold and told there was nothing that could be done to fix the leak. However, I explained the situation, the team worked hard to identify the problem, they talked me through the options, knowing I was getting the new car soon and left with just having to pay a small fee for a repair. I was very relieved and will be bringing future business to this store!

Called to ask if they offer military discount for a set of 4 new tires and they transferred me 3 times to different people without at least saying “I’m transferring you to this person or that department”.. literally said one second and then it was a new person. I repeated myself 3 times about the vehicle I drove and what kind of tires I was looking for and all I was asking is if they offered military discount. The last person I spoke to was extremely rude and said “call me back when you know the tire size” after we told him we were driving and couldn’t look. Extremely unprofessional. This was the Round Lake Beach location and I will be taking my business somewhere else

Always fair, always honest, always reliable! Last time I came in to have tires changed on one car and the other one I was driving had need of a minor repair under the car due to snow damage. They had no problem putting on a lift and taking care of it right then and there. These guys are great!
