They have the worest customer service I ever seen in other stores specially the meat department employees are very rude. They always ignored me and my husband when we want to talk to them. They don’t even answer for my question when I ask them if they have red meat. I probably asked them loudly more than 3 times and they respond when I was going to left. This isn’t my first time and I heard two of my friends had that kind of service from them before. It looks like the owner of this store doesn’t care about his business. I have never seen such akind of bad customer service in America. You know what there’s a lot of meat market or Mediterranean stores around here, don’t think like your store is the only one in the town. I personally will never ever go this stor again. Shahi foods on Palmer has the best service. And of course there a lot of meat stors better than this place.

Went around 3:00 pm on a Thursday for a fish. Guy at front/cashier very nicely told me where to find it. When I picked out the fish and took it to the back to be cut, I found ALL four employees were eating (at the same time). When I asked who can help me, the response was “we are eating lunch.” When asked when are you going to be available, the response was “20 minutes.”I put the fish back and as I am walking out with my two kids (one is less than two years old), the first guy at the cashiers gave me a “did you find it?” look. I said “all of your guys are eating and I cannot wait 20-minutes.”Got a “oh well” look. Never an apology.How about one person be available to customers when the rest eats? Isn’t that the purpose ... to serve customers??And if your business cannot serve a customer during a certain time, put a sign up OR tell me that when I first inquire!Shahi on Parmer is my regular stop and I’m never making this mistake again even though these guys are only 7-minutes from home.

I would give 0 stars if possible. Owner in particular consistently has a rude attitude towards not only me but other customers as well which I have witnessed on numerous instances.Placed an order well in advance on 5/8/21 to pickup at 3pm. I arrived at approximately 3:45pm and the owner stated it was not ready and I could either wait or just leave. They simply just do not care and will give you the snarkiest response possible.Now I happily drive 30 minutes further to World Food Halal Market off Lamar and refuse to give Indo Pak any more business.

I have been going to this store for a very long time. The owner of the store is a very king generous person. Specially with current situation they are doing community service by providing us with food and putting them selves at front line dealing people, and exposing them to potential virus.Some may see as a business opportunity but I see it as service to us and we should appreciate their effort. Let’s not forget that people working at stores are humans and they have their ups and downs, and dealing with impatient folks can take a toll on ones nerve.I personally thank you for what you are doing for us and will always be your loyal customer.

Very good family owned business. Honest people. Good selection of meats & fish. The fruits and vegetables are also very good price. The young man always goes above and beyond to help, and show me new products to try.

I like coming here for the special spices and mixes I can’t find elsewhere. The meat is also good, I’m not good with names of cuts (beginner cook) - so I tell the butchers what I want to prepare and they inform me what kind is best for that meal. The owner and employees have always been kind, humorous, and very helpful with information.To the lady who left the bad review about meat notification, you always tell them when you want your meat order done by and they will make it for that time. They don’t call you unless you didn’t show up for your meat order, nor does any other meat market do that.I hope their business continuous prosperous despite these stressful times.

Please avoid this store as much as possible. Very very bad customer service and very rude.no respect for service.we used to go only for meat but we stopped going as there are much better store and services near by.bottomline: avoidable grocery store

We have been buying meat from this place since we moved to Texas. My husband placed a substantial order today. About 6-7 hours ago. They usually call when the order is ready or give you time to pick up, today they did neither. First my husband calles to inquire about if our order was ready or not, no answer. I call and get an answer but the gentleman was very rude. I simply wanted to know how long the cut up meat was there waiting as we did not receive a call. He told me, “we don’t put a timer on the meat, you can come get it or not, we’re busy”. I just want to say thank you for the superb customer service. Thank you for answering my question with such care! And you’ve lost a customer.

Gentlemen working the front desk was extremely disrespectful during the covid crisis. I brought my 3 year old nephew and he gave me lip about it. Sorry dude. Some people have kids. When I asked for his name he didn’t want to give it to me. Maybe he just doesn’t want black customers considering the foolish commentary which is that blacks are more likely to catch it. After asking for his boss, he wouldn’t tell me his name then followed me out of the store to yell at me about the severity of covid. He’s an jerk and has no respect.

One of our favorite desi grocery store in Round rock. Meat is always fresh. And the customer service is on point. The owner is extremely helpful.

We just moved from Houston. We found this place and thought it would be nice to have one halal store closeby. We did shop a few times. But I personally was never happy with the service. The older person who seems to be the owner is very rude, always sounded as if he is the richest guy on this earth or his business is the only one. I would request all Halal eaters to boycott this store and shop anywhere. I left the store and found multiple places all around round rock. I would never recommend anyone to even enter the store. This happenned at the time of Corona, when people should be helpful and considerate are being arrogant. I wish him the best.

The older gentleman who I believe is the owner is very disrespectful and insensitive. He wrongfully accused my mother and aunt with a transaction. Embarrassed them In the store telling them they should not shop in the store if they can’t speak English. I don’t know if it’s a race thing but he is not very welcoming to black folks.

The cashier is very rude and spoilt my day. I understand that when a card doesn’t work it may cost the store few cents. But you cannot expect to run a store with all cards working 100%. I had to pay in cash because he wouldn’t take card. Please explain customers politely in future. I would definitely not return to this store. When you are into business ethics matter to your customers. Highly recommend NOT going to this store.

I know the reality of places like this, but what I experienced today was unreasonable. The owner/manager was rude to my mother first I chimed in and was met with silence and cold shoulder and a really awkward check out. When speaking with a women he had no problem speaking up.-One of their freezers is a converted Coke machine freezer (not suitable for meat) youll see that fridge commonly have grey sad meat in it.-Its an Indpak store I dont expect it to be super cleanly, but I dont want to see lose fish in the freezer.-Bad Service,Bad QualityOverall: PASS (because they wouldnt PASS a health inspection)

2 guys cutting meat. One beef and the other chicken. Same table, no gloves and in and out of the walk in refrigerator without even the thought of sanitation. I wouldnt feed my animals the meat from this place.

This is my first visit to an Indian/Pakistani store. This store is well organized, and makes good use of the space to pack a large store into a small space.I am a foodie, and Im frustrated that regular American style grocery stores have reduced their spice selections to the point that they have 100 brands of the same basic spice mixture, eliminating the space that used to be occupied by a wider variety of single ingredient spices. As a result the grocery stores do not have any real selection at all... unless you really need 100 varieties of pre-mixed bbq rubs. I found Indo Pak had a whole isle side dedicated to an easy to shop selection of fresh spices, with long dates on them. Every thing I chose has years of shelf life, and most of the items were in 200 gram (~7 ounces) packages for between $1.29 and $2.49. So for $10.50 I purchased spices that would have cost me at least $60 at normal grocery store prices.Most of the spices looked like they came in whole or ground versions, but I generally choose whole and grind them myself, so having the choice of whole spices is a big win for me.There was another item I was looking for, and I walked right to the item as if I knew where it was all along. In general I found the store very easy to find exactly what I came for, so my experience was very efficient.I was warmly greeted at the checkout, and the service was fast and efficient. I think I have found a new favorite grocery store! I plan to spend more time here in the future, and will be studying the cuisine in more detail as I learn how to make more of the food that I have only enjoyed in restaurants before.

This place is a gem! I recently purchased the cookbook Vegan Richas Indian Kitchen and have been wanting to cook recipes from it. The Indo Pak Supermarket had everything I needed. They have tons of spices, nuts, chutneys, curries, lentils & rice at beyond reasonable prices. The cashier was friendly and helpful with locating the spices I was looking for. They have all of the Indian spices you could want and so many jars of tahini, too. Im so happy I happened upon this store and even more happy that its right down the road from my house. This will be my go-to for spices and Indian foods from now on. Thank you, Indo Pak!

Called and requested specifically to preorder some goat meat in small pieces as the meat section closes at 8 pm for a pickup. Found huge chunks meat thrown and believe they dint even trim the fat properly. Do not recommend.

TWO STARS and that’s ONLY FOR FRIENDLY CUSTOMER SERVICE... I really wanted to like this place because its local and they have very good customer service. HOWEVER, they sell expired and repackaged food and thats just wrong! I bought gram flour that I didnt discover until I got home, had been repackaged using scotch tape no less! Next trip, the seal of the ginger garlic paste had been peeled slightly back, as if someone just needed a couple squirts, but didnt want to commit. Finally, THE LAST STRAW was the Kasoori Methi that was so badly expired that it was discolored and began to disintegrate! GROSS! Hopefully they will get it together because they seem to be nice people.

This place is right next to my house but I will always make the drive to Phonecia from here on out. I excused how tiny, crowded and unorganized this place is, thinking if its a mom and pop maybe they cant afford more. They definitely dont make a point to clean and the coolers do not seem at correct temp. I would absolutley not purchase meat here, but went ahead with a few canned/packaged goods. I was asked if I found everything, I said almost and named one item I wish they did have. He said nobody likes that. Well, I do. Why ask me and then tell me Im wrong? Whatever, just take my card. oh, we dont accept American Express. I pulled out another card that I really didnt want to use but okay fine get me out of here. I said hey man, as a fellow local business owner I have to say I think not taking amex is poor practice. I know the fees are higher but amex customers tend to be quite loyal. In fact, I generally dont go to places that dont take it. swiping my other card, he tells me oh well....if it was your only card then I would accept it. I said wait, so you do take that card? And you just told me you didnt? And he said well no I dont take it unless you dont have another option. I dont want to lose your business if you cant pay with another form of payment. so basically he will tell you that he does not take it and if you say well Im leaving all of a sudden he can take it. I find that to be dishonest. all in all I would never ever return here and I would encourage everyone to find another store even if its a drive
