Love the location. The service was superb and you get a sugar rush walking through the door. They have a combination of old and new school candy. We settled for yummy blue bell. You can never go wrong with that.

Ice cream is so good, price are very reasonable they have table on front and back I recommend don’t have dog on the back the poop i believe the owners don’t clean, the day smells thedog poop, but other wise is exelente place to have candys and ice cream. Customer service is exelente with big smile .

LOVE this place.. They carry my daughters favorite candy here that I could previously only find in NYC Chinatown. They have a wide selection of goodies to satisfy any sweet tooth including ice cream, coffee, drinks and it is always very clean and organized. The owners are very kind and its always a pleasure making the trip to RR just to pay their candy shop a visit :)

3 Star Candy Shop is my favorite candy shop! It is right in the heart of downtown Round Rock. They have the nostalgic candies of old, wide selection of specialty drinks, and ice cream like an old soda shop. I love 3 Star!!

The workers are incredible, but the owner/manager is horrendous! If you want to give them business make sure to tip in cash because the owner steals electronic tips from her employees who work more than she does!! If I could give no stars I would. She also asks all of her employees if they know anyone who is looking for a job because she’s so desperate but won’t take extra hours herself! Also the pay is very low and for the amount of hours her employees work and how busy it gets in the summer it’s unacceptable!

If you have a sweet tooth, this is the store to visit. They have it all. They have a variety of nostalgic candies (and soft drinks) as well as their own homemade candies. They are a full ice cream parlor with one of the best selections of Blue Bell around. Theyve got a fairly complete coffee menu as well. And unlike almost anyplace else, they have a full soda fountain.I visited on Thursday evening. I got a root beer float. I was truly surprised to see them making the root beer from scratch with syrup and carbonated water before preparing the float. My friend with me also commented on the gigantic scoop of ice cream for her cone.While the prices are significantly above anyplace else, youre also paying for great service and actual expertise.Whether youre wanting to treat yourself or looking for some candy you remember from childhood, this is the only place to come -- and worth the drive from Austin.

This store is a little jewel in the round rock downtown. It’s a little small but it has every wall full of different kind of candies and weird flavored soda. They also have some Japanese soda. They serve coffee and delicious ice cream and shakes. Server was nice, place was clean and the prices were good. My daughter was truly impressed and we were so pleased to find this place that has a vintage atmosphere and made you feel like a kid. Parking wasn’t an issue.

I really liked this local candy shop. We had butter pecan ice cream in waffle cone. All of their ice creams are from Blue Bell Brand. My whole experience was delicious ice cream, reasonable price, fast and well-behaved service. Also, I really liked the style of their store which I hope I can share with you via my photos.

So much fun and so many candies that remind me of the past. Counter staff was very nice and friendly. First time in years I had an actual chocolate soda. Made me feel like a kid again. We will be taking our grandkids here soon.

We love this unique, hometown candy shop. Tiger, one of the coolest guys you’ll meet, owns this place. Be sure to tell him hello. He and his staff are the reason this store made it through covid. Always a great place to stop by. They have a wide variety of candies, gummies, and sodas. They also serve ice-cream, fountain sodas and fude. Now everything is prepackaged so hands are not into everything.

More like 1 Star Candy. The girls working the counter were incredibly rude and ignored us until we left.I was told I couldn’t be inside due to COVID restrictions, and I get it, plus they were willing to serve us at their ice cream parlor style window. After being seated, I was told they were extremely busy and it would be a while. I watched through the window as these two girls behind the counter did basically nothing for a basically empty lobby. After a few minutes of waiting, my wife and I just got up and left. Honestly I think they were just wanting to be lazy and not have to serve anybody. I don’t believe a owner/manager was present, but this is definitely something they should look into.

Really neat place! Reminds me of a sweets and ice cream shop like they would have had in the 50s. The girls behind the counter were very young and still have a lot to learn about customer service but they were not rude by any means. This place has a vast selection of goodies. Makes for a great treat after a dinner date and stroll down the street from the restaurant where we ate.

Was treated very exceptionally well by the attendant. (Carleigh I think). She was very cheerful and professional at the same time. Will definitely be going back.

Yes, they have candy. But lets get to the juicy part. They have the best milkshakes in town. For sure. Why is that? Because they are using real ice cream (not soft serve which is stored at 6 degrees below regular ice cream). They manually scoop is out and mix it. This make the milkshake thick and creamy. Delicious. Most places (cough P. Terrys), use some sort of flavoring mix and just pour it out. This results in a watery artificial ice cream flavored mess. But I digress. Go if you love to spend your money on real flavor.

Charming. Stopped by for ice cream, but enjoyed a few other goodies too. The shop is clean and bright; everything is beautifully displayed. While attending to a toddler, I ended up with my cone toppling to the floor. It was immediately replaced without charge, and I appreciated the courtesy. Our ice cream was delicious. Looking forward to our next visit!

Never bought their candy but they have tons and fun soda flavors like bacon and tons more. Fun little Patti area in the back, could use some updating but its chill.

Lots of candy! Crazy flavors and a bunch of old classics that you never see anymore. Get a scoop of Blue Bell or an old fashioned fountain drink. I had a Brooklyn style egg cream soda for the first time. Really good!

This place is just awesome! Unique items to try, interesting shake and soda combos, a variety of candy choices, so much to look at. With that said, it carries Bluebell ice cream (so if youre vegan, sodas for the win!) My kids loved it!

There is something about a candy store that brings out the child in us all. It was a very nostalgic experience. I found candies I hadnt seen since I was a child and candies I had never heard of. I also found some sodas and candies I hadnt seen since moving south into Texas. The girls helped once they noticed you needed something but really had no interaction with you untill you wanted to pay. It wasnt horrible customer service it just would of been so much better of an experience if the employees would of engaged us more. Over all however if Im ever back in the neighborhood I may stop back in for an icecream cone and a candy for later.

3 Star Candy, or as my 5 year old calls it Round Rock Candy has become a family tradition on lazy weekends. Located in the middle of Downtown Round Rock, the place is like a blast from the past. They have everything from candy to ice cream to floats and sodas. The staff is way friendly, they have a great selection and the prices are outstanding.We love passing by, ordering a few treats and just hanging out at their candy bar. I love this place.

Love this shop! Great selection of bulk candy, specialty sodas and treats, ice creams, and chocolate. They also have great fresh sodas with homemade syrups--Hibiscus Mint is my favorite!They recently remodeled the interior to add cute bottlecap bar seating along the ice cream bar, which comes in handy when the place is busy and youre waiting for your ice cream. All around a pleasant place to be and I look forward to my next visit!

I went to Roundrock downtown for trick or treat with my children yesterday and discovered this place. There are tons of ice-cream selection and candy. The owner was super sweet and the store was so so cute! I would definitely come back here and recommend to my friends who visit downtown Roundrock.

My favorite thing about this place is the outside service you can get at the window. Mill shakes, ice cream and candy on a summer day at the Candy Shop bar with my grand daughter. It was a really great day. The associate there also took her time to make a great looking, great tasting milk shake.

Quaint little candy store in Round Rock. There is some old time candy, ice cream, chocolates and drinks. They have some Asian candy and drinks as well. The store is kind of small and only had one staff member when I came in who didnt seem to friendly.

If you need a sugar fix this is your spot! Had the Texan float...yummy😋. All kinds of sodas, pickle soda🤔, and candy choices. Even saw a pack of crickets 🦗😮. But there were live flying ants 🐜 crawling on the counter and 1 on top of the ice cream freezer. I let the girl know so she didnt open it and the ant fall in the ice cream. All she did was kill it with her hand and then put a plastic glove on instead of washing her hands. 😕 Thankfully we already had our order. 🍦🍧🍨

They have a wide variety of candies that are delicious but now they are under new ownership which means they make your drinks with more ice than what youre actually buying and that $50 gift card I bought is no longer accepted...though they kept the name...and my money.
