I love the new store layout! There are lovely indoor and outdoor smoking areas with a large humidor and pipe tobacco selection thats sure to have something for everyone. Im not nearly as knowledgeable with cigars as pipes, but the staff were so knowledgeable and helpful that finding a great stick was easy. They even have humidor lockers available for rent if you have a cigar collection but dont want to bother with maintaining your own humidor. The prices are very fair and the yearly membership is a great value if you live in the area. If you enjoy pipes or cigars, this place is one that will get you taken care of!

Excellent place, they always remember me and my seeing eye dog. But then again, most people do.. anyways, they are pretty cool and know how to treat their customers. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

One of the nicer cigar shops I have visited. I hung out there while my wife and our daughters were at the outlet mall. Huge selection. Good prices on the cigars I smoke. Smoking lounge with comfortable chairs and small tables with phone and computer chargers. They have a patio with tables so you can smoke outside as well. All of it is very nice and the service is good as well.

Great selection of cigars and great people was my first there and I had been looking for a particular stick and lo and behold I found them I also became a member which is well worth the cost. Thanks to the guy yesterday at twin liquors that pointed me in Pipe Worlds direction

Randomly drove past this beautiful building and came inside to find a huge selection of tobacco products. Pipe world was really cool! Jake was VERY NICE and helped my husband and I with our inexperienced questions and made us feel very welcome, we were greeted by every employee in the store . Very friendly place we will be back for sure !

My low rating is the result of a few cons that left me unsettled during my first and ONLY visit. First, it was extremely difficult to find using online directions, inside a large sprawling shopping complex on I-35, you have to head away from it going west and double back going east on Sundance (once you find it) just before the I-35 South bound feeder road. Know, Im not directional challenged, but it took about 20 minutes to to find it and it was extremely frustrating. The next issue was the smoking lounge layout. While the lounge was public-always a plus. It was eight large black leather chairs tightly facing each other in a row of four. The con was all of them were filled w older male locals and while I get it, it didnt seem from the vibe they were welcoming to outsiders-I mean there unwelcoming glares hung in the air like thick cigar smoke. So, that was a strike against them. The whole shop layout was tight and narrow and dark and gloomy. The last con was the customer service. Full disclosure, with every new cigar B&M I visit I take pictures so as to add to any possible reviews I might post. This place was no different, but that day after taking so long to find it, I was in a hurry to check it out & maybe grab some sticks. So, again I was in a hurry and entered the humidor quickly and started snapping photos without asking permission (my mistake). A young man entered seeming preturbed by my actions and sternly asked if I needed help to which I laughed and said no. For some reason, I was so put off I decided I had seen enough for the review and quickly headed for the exit. Mine you, I have clocked that I was receiving no so friendly stares from the moment I entered. They seemed immediately uncomfortable with my presence in the space and it was very palpable, so much so, I dismissed it in the moment, but seared into my mind they didnt care for my business, and I GOT the messsage.Outside of not feeling welcomed I wont bash them. To be clear, they had a large inventory of quality cigars with a good price range. But, to me the whole vibe was wrong for me as a new customer. Full disclosure, I have made 2-3 subsequent return visits with no photo taking, giving myself time so as to not be in a rush, but I get the exact same treatment. A brown haired young man attempts to assist me each time, no other staff, who I seen response more pleasantly than my sales assistant and it reinforced it was just a bad first visit, but it was their response to me, who did purchased cigars of all of these visits. But, each time the same clerk approached me with very hostile energy, which conveyed it was not his priority to assist, but hurry me along.So, I cant wholly recommend it as a cigar lounge. But, I dont want to dictate to others a viable location to purchase cigars. But, it should suffice in purchasing your cigars and wishing to smoke them elsewhere, I think PW will suffice. Again, outside of just not feeling welcomed and the confined layout, there was nothing wrong with the cigars. I would just recommend traveling a few miles further north up I-35 to ZodiX Cigars in Georgetown or Habana House (North) in Cedar Park or Smokers Abbey. You can read my visits to the first two in my reviews and a friend says Smokers Abbey is top shelf.

Great cigar store. They have great selection at good prices. They have a smoking lounge with good ventilation. It has a family atmosphere.

My all time favorite tobacconist to visit. Just a warning for those who are used to coming here to purchase RYO tobacco and supplies, their prices on their tobacco have almost doubled thanks to their wholesale partner raising the price of their tobacco, so the prices in store on their RYO have raised to match.OH, also, this is the only place Ive ever seen that sells my favorite tubes, specifically Wingate. A Wingate tube filled with their mint tobacco (which they claim has no additives except for actual mint leaves, pretty neat way to give tobacco a mint flavor without it being the menthol flavor as the two are completely different. Spearmint is infinitely more palatable than than eucalyptus!

Good selection of pipes and pipe tobacco. Nice humidor room of cigars to choose from. 6 comfy cushioned chairs, I think it was, to sit and enjoy your smokes. I was informed about their membership deal, costs $10 per year and you get 10% off of every purchase. So if I continue to go back it would definitely be worth getting. Spending $100 in a year would pay for it, and thats easy to do at a pipe/cigar shop.

Pipe World is awesome. I think what makes it awesome aside from the selection and staff though, are the regulars.The last time I was there, I sat and visited with 3 veterans and an elderly Black gentleman. While we had our favorite cigars, we talked about genetics, politics, cracked a few jokes, the condition of Austin, and race relations. It was unbelievable.Ive found Pipe World to be a meeting ground for all types of people with a common love for cigars. I think because of our shared interest in the leaf, we are more open to each others opinions and feelings in a brotherly, and sometimes sisterly way (Ms. Kim and Ms. Georgie sometimes join in the conversation). We share, and learn there. We let it all hang out.Sometimes Coach (owner) will come through and share some of his sage wisdom with us younguns!As I said....This place is awesome.

This Place is awesome! Not only is the staff up front and polite, they also have a wealth of knowledge. I told them I was looking for a Macanudo and they happily showed me them. They then turned me on to the next level up which was an Ashton. Man they were right!What gets me is they knew from my request what I enjoyed and the had the experience to recommend a better cigar. This type of service coupled with an actual lounge in their store where you can also enjoy your cigar blew me away!I came down for the Formula 1 race and I will make sure this is an annual stop for me now as well!Thanks guys!

This place has everything you’d want out of a cigar lounge. Huge humidor. Pipes and pipe tobacco galore! Plus it has coffee mugs, shaving and beard care supplies. Plus other gifts. Great and helpful staff. This is a must visit.

Beside the awesome atmosphere, good company and knowledgeable staff, the selection is top notch.There are no TVs. I like that. The customers that frequent the lounge area are entertaining. They have WiFi so I can work a little and have a stogie at the same time.Its quaint. Comfortable. Cozy. Great selection of loose tobacco to choose from. Nice humidor with a vast cigar selection. Become a member for $10 to save on purchases: it really adds up in savings and is worth it for the frequent conniseur. Even has a cozy smoking lounge. Great employees who accomodate you. We called in an order and knew we would not make it by 7 and the gentleman stayed open 10 minutes over and had our order prepared on arrival. Would highly recommend!

Excellent Customer Service! Theyve got a knowledgeable and attentive team that take time with noobs and veteran smokers alike. There have been several times Ive had a staff member walk thru the humidor with me to answer all my questions. Ive seen them teach lighting & cleaning techniques for pipes. Wide selection of pipe tobacco and big humidor. Seating for 4 in a small lounge area. Highly recommended.

Great shop - I went in as a complete newb a couple of years back and the very knowledgeable owner helped me pick out a starter pipe and a blend of tobacco that is still my favorite today. I highly recommend them.
