More table top gaming merchandise then comics. My friend really liked it cause hes really into that but me not so much. There was a large selection of current issue comics but other then older inventory shelf warmers there wasnt a true back issues selection. No high dollar or budget dollar bin. There was a clearance table with a few trade paperbacks. I just like digging through bins so this place isnt for me but if youre a Wednesday warrior you should hit this place up.
Always a good selection of board games and comics. The staff is usually nice but wont go out of their way to help you out.
I like this store. The staff is friendly always. Its organized and clean. You can tell they take pride in this store. They are welcoming of those interested in the many hobbies and geekdom products they offer. Not just for a sale but to add people to the lifestyle. I always recommend Rogues Gallery to friends.
Anytime I visit Austin, I make sure to come visit Rogues. Their staff is amazing and knowledgeable, not to mention friendly and welcoming.
Great shop! My son was able to find a comic he wanted to read and we found a great gift for my niece.
Great store. Lots of collectibles and current issues on deck. The multiverse solar system (yeah, I said it) and the dioramas are amazing. If youre looking for statutes and tabletop stuff, this is the spot. However, not very kid friendly. I had to restrain my 4 year old from touching anything in his reach. And I was looking for his first comic, so I wanted to browse the old back issues. Which there are none.So for being a great adult collectible store, top marks. For not having back issues or something for kids, I had to dock you a star.
10/10 Great variety of tabletop games, comics, manga, and collectibles. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and can help you find whatever you need or looking for a new gaming experience.
Awesome store! Friendly staff with good representation.
Great shop! Love the large kids book section for my kiddos. Great selection of current comics and a large variety of trades. A nice selection of tabletop games. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this shop.
Very kind staff, great selection of comics, and fellow customers are very nice.
I use this place primarily for tabletop games and supplies. Dont be fooled by the size, they have a very impressive inventory. Theyre always featuring new games on their recommended shelf to save new players time in research. The staff is very friendly and helpful for all levels of players. Seems like a good place to pick up new comics as well although Im not an expert.
This was such a great comic book store. The owners were nice and helpful. It is nice and neat. I wish there were long boxes for the back issues but that’s okay. This is just a great comic book store. If you love comic books or games you should check out this comic book store. The only thing is that one of the comics were ripped, but still a great comic store.
Very friendly. Great selection.
Love this place! The staff is always helpful and friendly. Good selection of comics, games, etc. In normal times they always seem to have a good group of gamers playing in the back. Im mostly there for the comics, though. But yeah, cant say enough good things about this place and the people working there are the best.
This store is so good, I drive 15 minutes further just to shop there. For me, they have about the same selection as other local comic and game stores, but the difference is the service. The employees remember me, and they remember what I like. They go out of their way to help me find what I’m looking for, and, if they don’t have it—or can’t order it, they help me find where to get it.
Great chill environment, cool staff they take the time to help you with what comic your looking for and help with suggestions!
Well-kept establishment with many unique hobbies that fill a different role in the heart of many different nerdy individuals. Problem is, it has such a wide variety that it fails to really supply the adequate amount of my particular hobby. Magic cards. It isnt a fault on the store, just a sign that paper magic is a relic of the past that WotC is trying to remove from every LGS in the United States.Again, fine establishment with lots to offer, except where this particular nerd requires.I will still go here for all my DnD miniatures and books.
Great store and friendly staff. Got exactly what I was looking for when no one else had it. Specifically star wars imperial assult expansions. Also they limit the number of customers in the store which is a plus in my mind. I think that is supposed to be the case but some stores dont follow that. Of course everyone there was masked up correctly when I went :)
The staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The store is clean and enforces great social distancing. Great selection of games and comics. Check out their podcast for excellent recommendations on movies, tv, games, comics, and more.
Super friendly atomsphere, loads of cool minis and figurines, with very friendly and helpful service bought a mtg commander deck and some boosters, and they threw in a few extra cards for free! Definitely returning for more adventure
Staff is always amazing, great selection and preorders.
Very friendly. New to the area, close to my house. I enjoy stopping in there.
We love this store and the staff is so helpful
This little store is much like the one I grew up going to and that makes it near and dear to me. They keep a great selection -especially for a small shop. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and will go out of their way to find what you are looking for. The owner is sensitive to the wants and needs of female gamers/readers and does not underestimate our influence in the culture. Highly recommend.
I am a huge book, comic and game fan and this store has all three, plus a nice selection of toys from various movie and comic franchises. It isnt a large store but it is packed and the atmosphere is definitely geeky and fun.I really love the selection of board games they have from both mainstream and indie artists. They have the massive multiplayer games along side the small quick card games and everything in-between.The staff is great and will answer any question you may have and are very helpful suggesting material you may not have considered before. I visited with my grandchildren and they suggested books she appropriate books for each of the kids. The shopping center where the store is located is right off of the freeway and is quite easy to get into and out of, even though there was construction going on the last time I visited. If you like comics or games, this place is for you.
Not a lot of magic stuff but good service and convenient location.
Great local comic shop that always carries plenty of new/recent issues.
Another place for me to get my books... Gotta love it
Good selection, great staff, fun atmosphere with an ever changing diorama. Though not as big as its former co-franchisee Dragons Lair in Austin, this is a great little gem in the Round Rock community. Support your local comic shop!
Ive been using Rogues Gallery as my go to shop for the past 5 years for all my table top needs. The Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and give amazing recommendations. I still pre order all my dnd books through them as they deserve every bit of buisness
Rogues Gallery gracefully walks an incredible tightrope, balancing a great games inventory, great comics inventory, and open gaming space in a relatively limited space. I love the variety of public events they host. The staff is wonderful. They are welcoming and knowledgeable. If they dont have something in stock, they always offer to see if they can order it for me. Additionally, when I do place orders, theyre great at contacting me to tell me my order has arrived. I live in Austin, but Im happy to drive up to Round Rock to visit Rogues Gallery.
Ive been a customer for well over a decade, and though it is no longer close to my home or work, I keep coming back because of the people. Staff and management are there for the stories, and to help connect their customers to what they will like. There is an all-ages section with material aimed at audiences both juvenile and adults not interested in R-rated material, but they also dont pull any punches with mature material either for those that are. The staff always has a good recommendation tailored to your (stated) interests, plenty of subscription and trade stock to browse, and interesting specials. Im not much of a gamer, but their gaming section is extensive, and the staff actively participates in gaming sessions.
Youre Friendly Local Gaming Store! Rogues Gallery is the best place for everything boardgame & comic in Round Rock!If they dont have what youre looking for, they can likely order it. Shop local!
Always very helpful and friendly. They had a good selection of comics.
Full service comic shop with a selection of popular board games too
A good comics/games shop is like Cheers for geeks - a friendly atmosphere where you can hang out with like-minded fans, and discuss the latest news with the bartender ... I mean the staff behind the counter. Rogues Gallery is what every comics/game store should aspire to be. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The selection of both comics and games is broad. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Rogues Gallery is pure Nerdvana.
This is the quentissetial neighborhood comic and game store. They have a bit of everything when it comes to games and toys. Really awesome staff is what makes Rogues stand out from.the other shops around the area. You become a regular and they know what your looking for, other comics and games you may be interested in and always greet you with a smile. The recent upgrade in space has helped quite a bit, but if you are coming for D&D or magic, I would recommend saving your spot as soon as possible since they fill up.pretty quick. All in all, still one of my favorite places to come for my comic and gaming needs.
Friendly staff and a good selection of comics and graphic novels. They also have a great assortment of games and gaming accessories like dice and miniatures.
I had a great experience at Rogues Gallery. The staff member I spoke to was helpful, nice, and knowledgeable, and in the short time I was in there I saw regulars come through that were happily helped. I only wish there was more in the way of gamer/comic collectables/toys, as I am currently starting to indoctrinate my 1 year old son into nerd life and there was nothing I saw there that I could buy him. :)
Very rude service
I want to give this place a 1-star review for what it has done to my bank account. However, I obviously keep coming back for a reason. It has wonderful selection of both comics and games. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I have recommended this place to many people.
Great place for games with a few gaming tables. The place was packed with gamers when I was there. Staff was nice and very helpful. Comic selection was decent but thin in the Image/Boom/IDW area though they did have some indie titles from tiny publishers, which was cool to see. Great place for games but if you want comics you may want to start a pill and curate it yourself to make sure you get everything. Very small section of back issues.
Been shopping here for years because of their amazing customer service! Staff is always helpful and can recommend you comics, graphic novels, games and anything else geek related. Special props to their amazing action figure displays! If you are a fan of comics or board games you need to check this place out!
The selection of comic books was plentiful. The store was very organized, and clean. The atmosphere was calming. The associate at the register was very friendly, and approachable. She made pleasant conversation. The overall experience was superb!
Great Selection and Great Service and Kind people that work there with Great Insight and helped me start on my Comic Book Journey. You wont regret coming here.
The cashier was very friendly and helpful. I didnt get any weird questions despite being a solitary female human in a game store. The cashier treated me like a knowledgeable member of the gaming community. I bought new set of dice that rolled seven (7!!!!) Nat 20s during their first adventure out of the container!
Great comic books
Great place to shop for comic books, board games, and role playing games. You can also chill with friends and play your own games or choose one from their demo collection to play.
Rogues has been my go to for board games and comics for years now. The staff are kind, inclusive, and excited to talk to you. They have events regularly and are totally willing to show you how to play that board game demo, recommend a new comic, or talk about how badly DC is losing to the MCU.Jokes aside, youre supporting an amazing local place when you shop here. Rogues is an absolute gem and deserves every ounce of praise.
Ive been shopping here since 06. The people who work here are some of the nicest people I know, who I have become friends with over the years. And even though I moved further away from Rogues Gallery, I always make a regular trip to see them.If this is your first time buying comic, they are always helpful and recommend great books for all reader types.
Great local business, super friendly and helpful. Wish they had a bigger location to have bigger events. Cant wish for a better hole in the wall comic book shop to wile away a few hours
All of the employees at this store, including the very nice, knowledgeable owner guy, seem to be extremely proficient. Even during times when they are super busy, they have always answered any questions that I have. When you walk in, someone is always at the front and greets me appropriately and with kindness. My children keep asking if we can return back to their favorite comic book store. Plus, an added bonus is the store is in a great location, and I do not have to drive into Austin to find what we are looking for. Thanks, for a great experience!
Decent comic book selection. Fun game night events. Staff are friendly and able to answer questions.
Neat little shop. Looks like its run by Good people
Always friendly and helpful and welcoming to my kids who pelt them with all sorts of questions while I browse games. Good selection. I wish it were bigger but thats my only complaint. They pack a really good selection in the space they have.
Impressive selection of graphic novels and new comics. i was looking for Batman/Spiderman graphic novels, and they have all the essentials. staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Rogues Gallery doesnt really compete w/ Austin Books & Comics on North Lamar, but i much prefer the location just north of Hesters Crossing on the east side of 35. recommended!
Whenever I go to Rogues Gallery, I have a pleasant time. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the selection of books excellent, and the staff helpful. I feel at home when I visit Rogues Gallery. Whenever Im in town, I make it a point to visit and buy a book from this fine shop.
I have been going here ever Wednesday for 4+ years. Great people and shop.
Great selection, nicely organized and very helpful staff! Something for everyone here!
Awesome place! If they had shopping carts Id be broke.
Great place to find so many types of board games, card games and more! Staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly.
Friendly little flgs. Good selection of basic role-playing content. It does carry more then path finder and dnd. Its not much but the selection is good. Its split equally between comic books, board games and, role-playing. Bathroom is acceptably clean.
Wow! Great selection here. Lots of stuff for MTG which makes my son and I happy. Ill be back soon
This is the comic book store Ive been going to my whole life. I love that its local. Great selection of comics from dark horse, indie, to DC and Marvel. The staff here really help make this place great and a little nerd Haven. My favorite part though is the tabletop games they gave throughout the week. Used to go here every week to play heroclix on Mondays. Those were the days :)
Good selection of items. Nice friendly staff. Went on Thursday evening (DnD night). Good crowd.
Good game store. The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly. I wish they had space in which people could play, but thats hard for a store to fund. I do nearly all of my board game business with them, often by ordering things. I cant speak to the comic side, because I dont read comics.
I just popped in to see if anyone was playing D&D, or to find information. Staff was nice, I found info and they do have places to play games. However the place smelled awful, it made my eyes water. I dont know if something happened in particular that day, but I hope its not a regular problem.
The selection of books is large and varied, you never have to wait too long for a fun event for all ages, but the best feature of this store is the knowledgeable, helpful, and welcoming staff members. Ask them for assistance finding an old favorite or something new to read, either way youll walk away with just the thing you need. Cannot recommend Rogues enough!
Great staff, always helpful. The larger store now is great for gaming tables. They almost always have the comic Im looking for in stock.
Great place to play games. Great food & drink options. Would go more often if prices were a little lower.
Customer service is great and they are very helpful if you have any questions. They have tables in the back and demo games to play. They also keep the TV on with an entertaining show so when my husband takes too long I have something to watch!
I have been here before, and the service was great with very helpful people. The last time I went in there however I was completely ignored by the staff member working there. I was the only other person in the store besides the coworker and I walked the entire store without being greeted or asked if I could be helped. Even when I left the staff worker was too preoccupied on their cell phone to even wish me a good day. There are other nearby stores with better customer service.
Comics, board games, card games, dice, figurines, a meet up area for games, clean and organized, and a setting that makes you feel comfortable. Plus its right off the freeway. Just give it a chance. :)
I admit, Im biased. The owner, Randy Lander, has got to be one of the sweetest guys I know and am lucky enough to call a friend. But thats not why I recommend Rogues Gallery. Its that he and his staff have an exhaustive knowledge of the game and comics industry, and not only sell the cream of the crop of both, but are all-too willing to enthusiastically discuss and recommend these products with all who jingle the front doors bells. There are certainly much more exhaustively stocked stores in the area, which each have their own charm and reason to whole-heartedly recommend as well, but Rogues Gallery has such a distinctive charisma to it, a drive up to Austins neighboring city Round Rock is well worth the trip.
Great store! Good selectuon for both kids and adults. So helpful and informative to each and every customer that walks in the door!
Great selection, extremely nice staff! Always a pleasure to come in a see these guys.
It was actually pretty neat. The selection seems pretty extensive and they have alot of different games Ive not seen before. Dont pass it up.
Hidden gem for comics and games. Lots of fun public events to keep the community engaged. Friendly and helpful staff.
Always fun wonderful staff amazing selections from figures and games to comics and books
Best shop in town. Great, knowable staff and all the games and comics you could ever need. They do all sorts of events and game nights. It is your friendly neighborhood comic store.5 out of 5
Great local comic book and games store. Fun events. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Great staff and good collection
Absolutely one of the best local gaming stores I have ever frequented. I highly recommend Adventurers League on Tuesdays. This store just feels like home. I love it.
A big old fashioned comic book store. Love It when a place like this still exists!
Great neighborhood comic book store! The staff are helpful and always super friendly. Worth the drive to Round Rock.
Lovely place with a wide selection of comics. I adore how they have an entire section just for kid comics. Staff is always friendly. They call me right away when a comic I order comes in.
Been visiting the gallery for years, even before they were at the current location. Selection is great, staff is helpful and diverse, owner goes above and beyond for customers. Definitely will visit again
When your a dnd nerd its an awesome place to get characters immediately! My kids love the comic books too!
Awesome staff, friendly, good selection, good location.
I try to make Rogues Gallery my first stop when it comes to games and comics, partly due to their great selection of product, and partly the employees. Their passion for all things nerd coupled with their eagerness to assist in any way possible has left an impression, and keeps me coming back. Even if they don’t have what I’m looking for, a great friendly conversation with one of the staff members is enough to make my day.
Stated every customer must have masks bur the employees were not even wearing them correctly neither one of them had them on covering their noses or mouths so how can you require customers to wear them when the employees dont.
We visited from out of state on Free Comic Book Day (The 1st Saturday each May) and the store was clean & well organized, the staff was friendly & helpful, the prices were decent and the atmosphere was welcoming. Thanks for a great experience!
A really great local comic shop, they really have whatever you need comic wise, and if the dont they will order it. Great place, and people. Love it!
Dave the manager was amazing. This place is a quality establishment and the staff is the best Ive ever dealt with. Will definitely come back. Its one of those local places you have to support.
This place is small but very well curated. The staff is knowledgeable AND personable which can be difficult in comic culture. They highlight authors too. I am a fan.
Great little store in Round Rock.
