I called Anchor-Ventana earlier this year for a quote and was transferred to a salesperson. The call rang through to voice-mail so I left a message. I never heard back. Would highly suggest going elsewhere.
I want to start off by saying Kudos to Miranda G, The Receptionist sent me to her, I’ve previously done work with the company and this was my first time having her help me. She sent me a quote for my window, I called and she didn’t answer so I left a message, she called me back very promptly that shows she puts customers first! She was very patient with me I had so many questions and she made sure my experience with her was smooth. Hope she gets recognized for this!
Jesse was beyond rude! I will never use this company again. Miranda was very nice and I appreciated her response. However, they dont seem the less interested in customer service. My response to your response:You must have me confused with someone else. I never cussed nor would I. No one had helped me on my previous calls but they were friendly. When Jesse answered, he immediately started asking who helped me because he would have to report them to his supervisor. I tried to tell him but he kept talking over me and wouldnt stop. I said, let me speak. He kept talking on and on. I then yelled loudly, you are being so rude. Stop talking so I can say something. He then said he was sending me to his supervisor. I hung up at that point. Truth verbatim! I did not want to get one of the girls in trouble. Also, no one ever offered to leave samples at the front. I would have been very happy with that since I only wanted to see samples anyway.I have never left a bad review before for any business. I guess its a former happy customers word against lying Jesse!
Nothing makes me madder than getting to a business during busy hours to find someone shut the doors early.
Recently had one of our windows broken by our lawn guys, the lawn guy offered to pay for it and we chose Anchor Ventana! My husband called and spoke to a woman named Miranda Flores and she helped us out! She was amazing! Always sounded so cheerful when she spoke to us, gave us updates on when our glass would be in. We told her we had issues with other glass companies and she made sure everything went smooth from beginning to end, even called us once the window was installed to ask us how it came out! (She really called for a payment, but asked us about the window as well). Great company with amazing employees! If you need anything done use them very affordable and inexpensive.
Friendly staff, amazing company!! Everyone is so helpful.
I do not recommend this company as the communication between the management and their crew is non-existent. Ive been without my shower for 2 months and their LACK of sense of urgency is incredibly frustrating.Their own techs removed my shower glass, walls and door and when they were to install the new frame 2 weeks later they showed up without the needed frame and now Ive been told they cant come back for another 4 days. Oh, did I mention that they called me this morning to confirm the appointment and when asked, I mentioned that they needed the entire frame and that the glass was here. BUT, they still came without the frame. Freaking ridiculous!!! So, Ill just take ANOTHER day off work so they try again.
Bought all our mirrors (6) and a shower door from here. Service was good. Prices were comparable. Installation was fast, when they actually finished making it. They did take their time in the fabrication process. Kept giving excuses, took about 10 days longer than the original 10 day quote. So if your not in a hurry...... their not bad.
I am a builder and I hate to write horrible reviews because i wouldn’t want anyone bashing my company. I am currently working with a salesperson named Dana. Everytime i try contacting her i never hear back from her. I’ve left voicemails still nothing from her. However i called and i spoke to other sales reps by the name of Gina & Manda (i couldnt be wrong) can’t remember. All i wanted was updates about my order and where my products are . They took the time out of their day to help my company. If i need anything I will definitely contact other sales reps instead of Dana.
A HUGH DISAPPOINTMENT. I experienced the results of a lack of communication between management and staff, and the worst customer service I’ve seen in a long time. I visited their office personally and visited with project manager Jesse about a dog door installation. I presented installation instructions and the scope and was told they could it and to call when I was ready. Three weeks later I was, and they sent an installer out to measure my glass for the dog doors. The next day I was told they “stopped offering dog door installations in all residential applications”. Jesse was not sure when they stopped this service, and when I asked if they could either make an exception or provide me with another company who could do the job, he told me no. I am now without a way for my dog to get in and out of my house. RUN from these guys - find a company who can do better. One star is too much.UPDATED 7/24/19: I found another company. They are 100% willing and able to help. I’llHave my new door installed in about a week. I now wish I would have called this other company first, and not wasted my time with Anchor -Ventana. I won’t be looking back!
I worked for anchor for 5 years, use to love going to work and the company. I have to agree with you on this one, from what I understand they have no policies in place anymore especially if your a liability..I guess if I was dealing with the young people I would be ok.
5 star glass company ! If you need glass for your home or business this is the only place to go! Phenomenal people! Tired of the same old glass people? Step up your game and go to Anchor Ventana Glass for all your glass needs!
The parking lot was nice and flat, I thought it would be a good start. The storefront is glass, and although its nice, at about 2PM it gave me second and third degree burns in the back of my eyes, theyre peeling now. As soon as I walked in I was assaulted with the pungent aroma of microwaved Indian food and hot feet. I was greeted by a man who went by Jesse. After I showed Jesse pictures and gave him exact measurements, he said he didnt know how to quote by measurements, he would need someone to go measure for me in my home. I took an online class and have now been a master tape measure manufacturer for over three days, and I can tell you my measurements are pretty decent. Jesse told me hed call me later with the quote, which he did. While on the phone, Jesse laid some heavy news on me. The story was, he had no quote and he didnt really ask anybody. He assured me he would electronically internet mail me a message containing quotes the next day. I am assuming it will be here soon as its been roughly 18 days. I figure by the time my skin stops peeling into my food from the awful burns I received, Jesse may have a chance to do his job.Im not sure what type of business model that is, but I cant see it being sustainable.Update: Its been almost 45 days now, still no word from Jesse. I am fearing for the worst now, much like the way a parent feels when feeding a stray cat. I was let go from my job because I have been unable to shower, and after several haircuts I begun to assume my primal form as an itchy entrepreneurial man-bear, with subtle notes of patchouli and scavenged marlboro being the most distinct. The employees at the church no longer allow me to use their lobby fountain as a wash basin (there are no signs prohibiting me from washing there), so I conceded and decided it was time to get serious, Jesse or not. I had to cut back on finances a bit to save up, but honestly after switching to PURINA I feel much better and my eyesight and skin chaffing issues have resolved themselves. I managed to save up about $800 by selling counterfeit girl scout cookies that I put to good use towards my new corner shower. I went to another shower company in Austin and spent $700 on all the parts I needed and installed it myself, It looks great and functions well, those tape measure classes are really taking me to the next level. The remaining $100 I have I put into a mutual fund that will one day hopefully fund a search and rescue mission for our poor friend Jesse. Ive sent them flowers, but I havent received any responses so I assume theyre still deeply mourning the mystery of Jesse. I will update again if I hear anything pertinent.
Just called to get an estimate and they were less than thrilled and acted as though it was a huge hassle. Fail. Not going to use a company that could care less about getting the business. Btw, they missed out on replacing almost every window in a 3500 square ft house...maybe they should invest more time and money in training for good customer service...thumbs down, dont waste your time....
The staff on the shop floor dont really know what they are doing, called to get a quote and they stated 9.20 sq ft, had no clue about how to install and claimed to be giving me a fair price until came to find out that their pricing is 30% more than other glass shops in Austin. The storefront and showroom are nice but you will be paying for this
Anchor Ventana provided the glass doors for our showers and the Italian sliding glass doors at our guest room and master bath. They were very professional and I feel we got the highest quality product. As an architect, I am always pleased when our contractors select Anchor Ventana for our projects because I know we will have no problems and happy clients.
This is a great place to work as well as a great place to get glass if you need it professionally installed whether it be commercial/residential
We recently had a frameless shower put in at our home. Anchor Ventana could not have been more professional or terrific. So pleased from start to finish what a class act. We loved our installers. Highly recommend.
