Great place!!! There was a clunking noise coming from the car, so I decided to take it to Rowlett Transmission. They troubleshot the car and fixed the transmission with a great turn around time, and now my car is working great. Highly recommend this place.

My brakes werent working right so I took it here. Wasnt sure if they did brakes. Turns out they do. Awesome job, price and very friendly.

I took my son’s car to Rowlett Transmission after I lost confidence in another shop. We didn’t get good news and ultimately decided to trade the car because it wasn’t worth repairing. If I had decided to do repairs, though, I would have had confidence in this shop. They were honest with us, didn’t charge us to look at the car, and gave us options for repairs (short term and long term) depending on our goals. If I need transmission work in the future, I will go back.

I have never been treated so badly. My transmission repair did not make it 9 months before doing the same thing it was doing before. I will be contacting the BBB to file a complaint. Stay away from this place.

Took my teenage sons truck to another transmission shop in Rowlett and prices fluctuated from one day to another. I paid very close attention to the price quote of $500 just for labor, then it went up to $750 the next day for the exact same thing. That didnt sit well with me. Felt like I was being haggled and little did they know, Im not that gullible.We were then recommended to take it to Rowlett Transmissions from another parent and couldnt be more happy with that decision. They did a fantastic job on the rebuild and really did the best the could to help my teenage son with the cost of repairs and a few other things that Id rather not mention, its our discretion. They were very communicative, upfront and not once did I sense, we were was being taking advantage of. As a business owner myself, I can truly appreciate other business owners that go above and beyond for their customers. Thank you so much again and will definitely recommend anyone looking for transmission work to go there.

They rebuilt my F-150 transmission a year ago. They offer a one year warranty. Well just so happens that my transmission is failing again and Im just out of the warranty period. The price was good when I had it done last year but Id rather pay more and get a repair done that will last longer. Take your vehicle somewhere that will offer a longer warranty or one that stands behind their work more.

These guys just did some work on my mother-in-laws 2010 Fusion and they were great! They mainly dealt with my wife and treated her amazing! Family owned means they care. They went the extra step for us... Im sure they do that for everyone! I highly recommend using this shop for your transmission needs! Probably the best transmission repair shop in the Dallas area. I shopped around and they gave me the best deal. Saved me a ton of money. My Jeep Grand Cherokee runs like new again. Very professional, highly recommend.

When your transmission goes out, you know it. But you most likely dont know where to take it to get it fixed. Rowlett Transmission was great to work with. The price range they promised was to price we paid. We dropped off our vehicle on a Monday, and it was done by Wednesday. If we ever have another vehicle that needs transmission work, Ill definitely be going back to Rowlett Transmission.

My car all of a sudden started shaking and I just moved to the Dallas area, and didnt know where to take my car. I talked to a few people in the area and they recommended this shop. Being a female, and this being my only car, I was a little scared. But, they took my car and told me it was something (I forgot the technical terms, sorry) and told me how much it would cost and how long it would take to get done. When I got my car back, it was amazing, it worked great and I couldnt have been happier. Defiantly recommend this place!!!

Maybe theyve changed ownership since March of 2014 but the first rebuild of my transmission lasted 18 months/16k miles. I paid parts only for the next rebuild at $650 and that rebuild lasted ~30k miles. They were so confident in that rebuild they offered a 3mo/3k mile warranty.01/12/2017 update...the transmission is now being rebuilt (3rd time) by another shop and they indicated the torque converter is still the original OEM. Rowlett Transmission charged me for a rebuilt converter on both rebuilds. Stay away from this place. Im going to contact the BBB to help protect others.

I paid the price they quoted me over the phone and received a 2 year warranty. They kept my truck 2 extra days but kept me in the loop on status of truck every day. Highly recommend this shop!

Took my car here after my regular mechanic referred me. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. They asked questions to make sure they would know more about the problems. They let me to know to watch the car for a leak just in case. I would tell my family and friends to use Rowlett Transmission for their vehicles.
