Oh my goodness, this ice cream is DELICIOUS! We had it for the first time tonight and absolutely nothing compares to it. The variety of flavors, kind and helpful staff and tasty ice cream has officially made this one of our favorite places in Rowlett. Thank you and we cant wait to come back to try the adult only flavors!

This was our first time coming here and we will definitely be coming back often. The owner was very kind and explained how the ice cream flavors rotate regularly. We werent able to sample first due to COVID-19 but that was fine. They had a non-dairy option available that my husband had. We both ordered a boozy treat. I had the Irish cream. Smooth texture and the flavor was amazing. I enjoyed that the ice cream wasnt too sweet which is a problem I come across with commercial ice creams. My husband has the blue margarita sorbet which had a wonderful tang to it. I cant wait to go back.

Alcohol infused homemade ice cream! I’m sold and so is my puppy with his non alcohol Doggo cone! The owner is so lovely and kind. Deff bring the family and pups for nice outdoor seating. Will be back again real soon.

Right when you walk in the smell of fresh, delicious ice cream and cones drifts to your nose just inviting you to take a bite. The ice cream was wonderful (brown butter was the best) the cones were AMAZING (taste great and dont break easily) and the staff was super helpful and cheery, offering opinions and advice.

The Sweet House is a secret gem! This small ice cream shop is perfect for a family treat. All the ice cream is made fresh at the shop. So, in addition to regular favorites like chocolate sand vanilla, you will find interesting new flavors like goat cheese and honey (kinda like cheese cake) and fruity pebbles (with cereal milk flavored ice cream). The shop keeps family games at the tables so you can enjoy the people youre with while you enjoy your ice cream. And hey, if it isnt family night, they have some alcohol infused ice creams (21 and over only!)

I was tempted to give them four stars instead of five just to tease Meredith and Chris but decided not to. Yes, we know the owners by name and have loved going to the shop since they opened several years ago. You will not find two nicer people who love what they do and enjoy sharing their skills with others.The ice cream is definitely not the cheapest but if you can appreciate the difference between Blue Bell and the discount brands you should treat yourself. The ice cream is as good as any I have had. The selection is limited and they will often run out of a flavor that you have fallen in love with (Chocolate strawberry and sweet cream come to mind) but there is always something new to try like (shudder) pickle or jalapeno chocolate.My current flavor is the pineapple sherbet. Incredible with large chunks of the sweetest pineapple around. They never use artificial flavors and always use the best ingredients around. Try the Belgian chocolate, it is made from real Belgian chocolate and is the smoothest chocolate around. My wife likes the cinnamon and coconut.They have recently expanded into alcohol infused ice cream for adults only. A single dip is the equivalent of a shot of alcohol so dont lick and drive. I do not drink, but they have interesting flavors and they are always selling them when we go into the shop to get our more mundane flavors.

The ice cream at this shop is the best I have ever had! I’ve heard that various restaurants around town are carrying their homemade treats as well. It’s certainly a bonus that the owners of this shop have always been so kind and welcoming. I live in Dallas, but don’t mind making the trip for some delicious, old fashioned, HOMEMADE ice cream. PS - Their wine infused ice cream is my FAVORITE.

They have the absolute best ice cream! The flavors are amazing and they create combinations that sound strange, but taste amazing (looking at you goat cheese and honey). They carry a good assortment of Root Beer and other sodas. They have introduced me to root beer brands that I didnt know I needed, but I cant live without now.It is a family business and they are doing things the right way. I support them whenever possible and I highly encourage you to do the same. You will not be disappointed.

This place has the best ice cream Ive ever eaten. Definitely worth stopping in. They have ice cream for just about anybody... some has alcohol (wine) in it, but you must be 21 to purchase. Customer service here is great, always greeted with a friendly smile. My wife and I really enjoy coming here... we really love the salted caramel ice cream, which I believe is the best seller. Weve been customers for about 3 years now and cant find a better ice cream anywhere else.

They have a unique assortment of flavors. Some are infused heavily with alcohol. My husband had the chocolate stout. It was delicious. I had a virgin chocolate lavender. They even have kid friendly flavors. :-) You have to try this place.

Love this little place! The owners are super nice and the ice cream they make is different than usual favors and delicious. Right next to the video store so perfect stop after grabbing a movie to take home. Havent tried anything but the ice cream but have heard its all good!

We stumbled across this place after doing a search on Google for ice cream in Rowlett after Braums was packed. Well I’m so glad we did as this place was hands down the best homemade ice cream we have ever had!!! We will definitely be going here to get our ice cream fix. The owner is super nice too. This is my favorite ice cream spot - the ice cream is incredibly creamy, the flavors are creative and always balanced, and the quality is always amazing. They also have a huge selection of sodas to make floats with. Chris and Meredith are so kind and always make us feel like family when we come in. We live in Frisco now but still do our best to get our fix from The Sweet House!

We always enjoy ourselves at The Sweet House. Chris and Meredith dont just pour their considerable skills and high quality ingredients into creating a phenomenal, tasty product in a unique diversity of flavors (thats also in high demand by chefs and haute cuisine facilities all over the place), but they also develop great rapport with customers. This little city is blessed to have them here!

I got married on yesterday and I wanted some ice cream while we was visiting Rockwall and came across this amazing ice cream shop!! If you havent tried it you need to!! I’m so in love with this place! Their ice cream (Salted Caramel my fav) is so delicious. You can tell they only use really good ingredients, and they make it themselves. I’m really concerned about minimal processing with foods so it’s a plus that they do it all in-house. They have spoiled me for life with their ice cream. The owners are so sweet too. This place is a must if you’re in the Rowlett or Dallas area.
