Never open. Service is terrible. The sandwiches aren’t bad, but considering both the wait time and the price, it’s not something I will choose to buy again.

Always the same, and always fresh. Such a great change of pace from lamp heated food, and soggy fries. Jon Smith for the win.

I ordered my food, waited for it to be cooked and somehow my food was cold upon retrieval. The owner just smiled like it was funny. Had to take it home and warm it up.

I ordered by telephone. Picked up my food, came home, and found that the order was incorrect. I called to inform them that the order was wrong and the person who answered the phone called me a LIAR and HUNG UP! In addition, when picking up the order I found the employees to be rude and unprofessional. I used them once before and the order was also wrong. Not happening again. BUYER BEWARE!

Fast and friendly service.

So disappointed. I ordered a takeout order on Saturday. BBQ steak & provo, steak Provo and mushroom, steak bomb and 3 large fries.First the fries were rock hard. BBQ steak had no cheese, steak and mushrooms had no mushrooms and steak bomb was a steak and cheese only.Its not usually like this. Not sure what happened this time.

Better than PubSubs, hands down. I go here everyday I go to work and I always feel so welcomed and love the variety they have !

Friendly staff good food

I have been eating at this location for 15-20 yrs. Today I ordered one to be delivered. I asked for extra meat mushrooms mayo salt pepper and pickles on side. After online ordering a tip and a donation it was a $25 sandwich. I got to say the steak quality is not the same anymore it used to be thick cut sirloin now it was more like subway type meat. They also added no extra meat pickles mayo or salt and pepper. Super disappointing form a place I loved

Ive been a customer for years. They would get 10 stars if I could. The newly remodeled sub shop is in my opinion the best sandwich shop in all of the Western Communities. Consistently serving awesome hot & cold sandwiches. New owners are working hard to offer great service in a new clean atmosphere. There cold cut sandwich is awesome!

The new owner, Skip, turned a dying sub shop back into our great Johm Smiths. Best fries.

Wrong order was sent and weJen I called the manager on duty talked over me and basically told me we would have to go without the sandwiches they missed. I told him they needed to deliver my order and he said not his problem. I asked for the GM or owners name and he hung up on me twice. I will be letting everyone I know this John Smiths is a rip off and never to fall into the trap of ordering from there

Watched as a really good looking Italian Sub was made for me. Got home to find out not only did it look good it was delicious.This was my second time there both subs really good

Mediocre food and soggy fries.More importantly, there is a mandatory mask policy in PBC, but employees here are refusing to wear masks to protect their patrons. If the restaurant can’t take this small measure for public health safety, I can’t imagine what other measures they’re skipping when preparing food.Shameful.

Disappointed the last few times. Quality of food has gone down, hard to nearly impossible to call in the order recent past few visits. Meat seems much fattier or rubbery and tonight hardly any mayo. May be taking a break for a while. Hope management reads this.03/07/2020Another disappointed sub, had been good for a while, but Tonight sub was a soggy mess. I can’t believe they even served it to me. Had I dined in, I would of brought it back to the counter. Can’t even blame it on a new guy. Staff are seasoned people.6-12. Never seems to fail to disappoint tried to call seven minutes to 8pm, no answer got there five minutes to eat place was shut down supposed to be open till 8 PM. I guess they make their own hours.

Horrible on line services.. paid 100 dollars for 2 orders and they were both wrong.. we caught one mistake at store which the person waiting on us argued about until he relized he was wrong. Then caught another mistake when we got home and called the store and the owner himself argued with me.. HORRIBLE customer services to someone Who just spent 100 dollars in your place of business.

We ordered 3 subs to go. All three of them where missing the sauce we requested they be cooked with. The subs were dry and required at home condiments. The cook was next to the cashier during the ordered, joked with us and suggest it be cooked a certain way and didnt do it.Customer service was great, very friendly.

2-6-26 I drive out from Loxahatchee and walk in at 8:30 and the tall guy with goatee tells me they are closed lazy bum should be fired. Great business placeOther than that. Pretty good subs

Ive always had Great cheesesteak Subs here but the one I had here today was terrible. the meat had a lot of garlic flavor in it and when I bit into the sub a big chunk of meat would come out. I could not bite through the meat because it was thick and just not chopped up like the usual way they did it. So just about every time I bit into the sub a whole lot of meat came out with that bite. I was not the only person that experienced this issue with this order.

I just showed up at 6:45 on a Sunday they close at 7. Tall guy with goatee and a bucket already mopping tells us they are closed. Must be nice to get a head start

Great Food, Great Place, and Awesome service

This was my first time ever coming to this restaurant and it was an overall good experience. The cashier was nice and the cook was very quick in making the subs, which were delicious. My one complaint is that the place itself seemed a bit dirty and greasy in some places, but the food makes up for it.

My experience wasnt that good thats why i give 2star. I ask for 2 subs the place was empty just 2 customers 1 before me 1 behind me and the one behind go firs i receive just one sub and when i finish eating mine my boyfriend gets his sub. And mine was too salty BUT... the guys there was so nice and they apologized about what happens. Maybe i will be another try sometime peoples dosent have a good day and that appears on the service.

Jon Smith Subs is the best sub place around in my opinion. Absolutely delicious food and great staff! Need to get one around Greenville NC or surrounding area!

I went here the other night for the first time and it was the worst cheese steak I’ve ever had... It seem like I was eating bread, onions, and cheese. I literally had like 2 pieces of meat. Have to be honest the fries were really good though... But will NEVER go here again. You get one chance when it come to my food Sorry...

Just picked up 2 foot longs and fries. This is the first time at Royal palm, and when I got home I was disappointed in the fries very limp and cold. One sandwhich was ok but the Cuban was very very salty and it had bacon on it, never before did this happen. I have always liked Jon Smith. The store had exhaust fans dirty and also falling out of the ceiling, needs inspection.

Was a tall guy there working when I came in and was rude and smelled like alcohol. Heard a coworker say his name was Anthony. My order was also made wrong. I will never come back. You should check your employees to see if theyre drinking on the job

This is the second time I have came in for subs, it was a cluster. I was given someone else’s food twice when I finally got what I ordered I get home and the sub was made wrong I asked twice before leaving to make sure there was no bacon and tomatoes sure enough there was bacon. Very disappointed!

Not a good day at my neighborhood sub shop. I felt the staff were cold and unfriendly. Given a rushed order, sub not as hot. I have been there several times, delicious subs, but felt very uneasy about this order. Threw in garbage can once home without opening.

Been going here for 13yrs. Today was the worst steak & cheese sub. The meat had no flavor was dry hardly any cheese. Just terrible. Customer svc wasnt great either. Very dissapointed

Don’t waste your money. Their subs are all bread. You get more meat on a sub at Subway. That’s pretty bad.

This place use to be good, but it has become very run down. Broken fountain machine, filthy floors and bathroom, staff that wants to be somewhere else. Even the quality of subs has gone downhill (no taste to their Steak Bomb). It seems to only be this store, not other JS Ive been to recently. Either go to a different JS or get your food to go. Definitely losing this long time customer. Hope they turn it around!

I had it the jon bombs sandwich for the first time. It was tasteless, no seasoning or flavor at all. I asked for teriyaki but that didnt help. the was a after taste in meat. Maybe it was old meat, if it was shame on them.
