I asked for a patch and cause of the tires damage and they plugged it anyways. Ill find my receipt and Ill be there to show them that the way they do they do their customers is not completely honest. Even if its in the middle of COVID.

Second time only place in town that had my auto part

My name is Roger Browning and I am a writer. I was recently in Ruidoso, to bring some signed books over to Aberrant Moon bookstore. We made our way in to town, where my vehicle began stumbling along. It gave every sign that a bad coil was the culprit, but it was enough that it wouldnt make it a safe trip to go anymore. It was a Saturday, evening late. We made our way up to Dan Dee cabins and got unloaded for our stay. I called around to mechanics with no help to be had, then was told by a local resturaunt, to try Napa instead. I made the call and sure enough, parts and a mechanic staff on site and believe it or not, on a Sunday, bright and early they took my vehicle in. This is the best part. The mechanic dove right in and took care of a difficult spot, where the coil not so easy, that model of expedition for its changing. He lay flat out under the hood until the job was done, where I feared the expense total, once it was done. A shock to me not what you might think, but a fair cost for work performed. A cost and bill on a Sunday, just as if that of an average working day. Thank You Napa at this very store. Fine people and fine workmanship, that is for sure. The best parts store in Ruidoso. Jimmy/owner is awesome and very knowledgeable. And Mark is by far the best parts guy in New Mexico. Super knowledgeable and very friendly. Both have been at western auto for my entire life so they know everything you need to know.

Napa has everything you need for auto maintenance. My husband got his windshield wiper blades and young man actually came out to his truck and installed them. Also, we bought our fishing license for 2021/2022 at Napa.

These people were amazing! We were on vacation and they went above and beyond to get us back on the road in a hurry! Great customer service and good prices. Thank you!

Cannot say enough good things. They were so friendly and FAST getting us back on the road. Not every situation will be so simple, but we were blown away with how kind, affordable, and fast they were. They all deserve medals.

We were in need of brakes and quickly due to the impending weather this weekend. I called and spoke to Mark who asked a few questions to get a better idea of what was going on with the vehicle. He quoted brakes and a few other things just in case, and I brought in today for the work.Within one hour of being there, I was informed that it wasnt the brakes, just the rotors that needed to be turned. Although the process took longer than they expected, I appreciated the total honesty in that they didnt try to get me for more work than what was necessary. I will definitely come back next time my vehicles need work!

Cant say that we hate NAPA in Ruidoso cause the little dog on the counter is all about customer service. Made an appointment to have AC recharged only to find that the appointment THEY made was suddenly unavailable. Why schedule appointments if you cant keep them?? We WILL NOT return... I had a estimate done last spring for a front end rebuild and was quoted $877 for an upper ball joint and 2 lowers. This included a Pittman arm, idler arm and alignment. Assuming it was done I bought 2 new AT tires also. About 700 miles into a 1000 mile trip the front end started seizing up and the vehicle started to become hard to control. I stopped at a tire shop in Chadron, NE. and was told the lower ball joints were not replaced. He greased them up good and told me they should get me home. Got me back to Vaughn, NM. before they started seizing up again. All I got from the owners was a We wouldnt do that and a general blow off. Ended up spending another $511 to get the job finished elsewhere!

I live in this town and we have precious few brick and mortar options so I cant say Ill never shop here again; however given the option I never would- Western Auto has a no refunds policy on tire chains, not even a brand new, unopened, unused set purchased less than a week prior- obviously, trying to return a set that has been used/mangled would be unacceptable- this blanket policy is ridiculous and unfair- wonder what else they have a blanket no refund policy on??

Despite not having the part I needed, they took the time to call other shops in town and send me to one that could fix my vehicle.
