You need sporting goods for a reasonable price in Ruidoso? This is the place. We needed water bottles for our hikes in the summer, they had us covered. Also all kinds of gear for any other sport and a lot cheaper than some of the smaller boutique stores farther up in mid Town.

It would be nice if they had a better selection of shoes

They had some great shoe sales going on. The selection overall was ok. They do carry under armor brand and lugs shoes. Fishing equipment also fishing permits. As well as a small selection of hand guns and pellet guns

Everyone was very helpful and very nice.. Also it is so nice to walk in a store that is clean. I will walk out of a store if it is dirty. I have to say Big 5 in Ruidoso New Mexico is clean.

Very knowledgeable employees! Bought a shot gun in December, was defective and took in the February 2nd to get it repaired. We are in June and is barely ready. Other than that, great selection and good brands.

I purchased a pair of shoes from Big 5 and the young man that helped me was very nice and fast. It was near closing time but you would have never known. He did not rush me while trying on shoes and he was very helpful and pleasant.

For a small town like Ruidoso, this place is great. No, it is not a big city place. The selection is good. Prices are decent. I love amazon, but when I do not want to wait on shipping, it is great to be able to go here.

Very limited stock of sneakers. They have displays but never have what is on display and then they try to push some other type of shoe on you which you dont want. They cant even seem to order the product you want. Im done shopping for anything at Big 5. Seems they arent so Big and are really just small minded and dont care about customer service at all.

It would be a great store. If, you could get anyone to wait on you. The employees would rather stand behind the knife counter. Glance at you. Look away and start talking about who has the better tortilla recipe.

Good business to buy sporting goods and sports shoes. The prices are favorable for European conditions, partly half. We covered each other with several sports shoe pairs every time. We will definitely buy there again.

De Ruidoso was the only place where we found what was indispensable for the season ... there was no place where they had winter clothes for the temperatures that we had to endure.

Padrisima sports store, little attention but it is compensated with the assortment and good prices
