Hidden treat in S. NM. Staff is outstanding, deli is delicious, and location beautiful. I drive from Alamogordo twice a month to shop there, since our trailer park city doesnt have a good health food store. Wild herb makes Natures Pantry look like backwards truckstop... take the hint and learn customer service, Pantry!

The best eats in Ruidoso.... seriously. Dont let the tiny size of the kitchen tucked into the grocery store fool you... the food here packs some ginormous amounts of flavor. Im still dreaming about their creamy tomato + chicken sausage soup and their turkey avocado melt sandwiches long after returning from our weekend in the mountains.Lunch is only served until 2 and their wraps and crustless quiches (Also a must try! Go broccoli + red bell pepper) often sell out rather quickly.Bonus... many gluten free / organic / healthy options. Prices for the cafe are affordable but the groceries... well. Theyre a bit high.

Wild Herb is a long time favorite of mine. I can find health & nutrition products there I cant find anywhere else. My only complaint is prices are higher there than in bigger cities with similar products.
