The receptionist is completely rude and incompetent. I needed a paper faxed to my employer so I could start a nursing contract on time. When I called to ask the first time she responded with we see patients every 15 minutes, I cant drop what Im doing. I never asked her to drop what she was doing I just asked that it could be done. Needless to say 6 phone calls later, a lie that it was sent, and 5 days past when I first called --- We still dont have it. I needed this documentation for a time sensitive nursing job, where staffing is critically low. Super unprofessional. They just lost a patient.

I have seen this doctor and was not impressed with the level of care and attention given to each patient. She Didnt like to answer questions when asked and treated you as if your concerns did not matter. other than having cheap glasses there. there is nothing good going on for this place The doctor needs to take some classes on how to communicate with patients. Will not go back.

Dr. Sobel is knowledgably, friendly, and to the point. She provides excellent care to her patients. Front desk was nice and helpful.Prices for frames are great!Couldnt ask for a better service. I will be returning.

The office was very efficient and quick to obtain my medical coverage. I scheduled an appointment for a procedure, only to find out that they were not prepared when I arrived and did not have what they needed to complete the eye procedure. My appointment was then rescheduled. Two hours before my new scheduled appointment, the office called to say that Dr. Rogers had an emergency at the hospital and my appointment would have to be rescheduled at a later date. I called the office back and they advised that Dr. Rogers left for the day! Since I was in excruciating pain, I immediately found another physician who scheduled an appointment for the NEXT DAY. Rutland Eye Physicians failed to keep appointments and were not prepared to complete the eye procedure. Very impersonal. There was a lack of concern. I would not recommend this office to anyone. They need to clean up their act and set their priorities straight, which by the way, would be to provide excellent care to their patients.

Worst ever. Sold me a pair of glasses that I couldnt see out of. When I returned them they REFUSED to sell me another pair. Thats the way they do business

Give had several issues with this place. The people here are friendly enough but the last time I ordered glasses I ended up with completely different frames than the ones I ordered. This time I made an appointment for contacts over a month an a half ago, I go in this morning and was told they never had me in the system. Then they told me since they had a cancellation they could fit me in but I had no idea of a fee because my insurance wouldnt cover an exam for contacts. My insurance was brought up when the appointment was made and had I been told of the fee I would have had the money right then and there.

Go elsewhere!!!Purchased a pair of glasses from this place and will not be returning. First, they NEVER answer the phone....I mean NEVER. They have a machine that tells you to come to the office to retrieve your glasses during business hours. You cannot leave a message, or make an inquiry, unless you drive there.The glasses were poor quality and never fit right....even after going to have them adjusted. I paid $300 for them. I later had to go purchase another pair at a different place, and had no trouble at all with the new ones. Although I did have to pay full price again (at new glasses place) after just buying a pair from this place...Ive since discovered Zenni online and currently use them.This place is a nightmare!! Ifyou want a convenient, professional experience....do not go here!!!

I ordered my glasses at the same time my friend did, same pair single perscription. She received hers last week and I still have not recieved mine. Called to check RUDE because I asked if my glasses were in yet.

Had to wait 40 minutes for my scheduled apt!!! Not a personable doctor at all. Had to call three times to get a human on the phone. The auto attendant which is Sobels voice is so rude it was amazing. Fortunately she was just a fill in for my regular doctor who was on vacation and I wont have to see her again. I will be calling Blue Cross/Blue Shield regarding what I feel is insurance fraud for how much she billed them & me. Stay away from this office!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would rate zero but that isnt an option.

Brought my 6yr old son and his new prescription here. My son was so excited that he almost missed Dr. Sobels less than 1 minute measurement, which she did out in the waiting room! 3 weeks later we get the call that the glasses are ready and again, this little boy is so excited! We arrived, and the DR. apparently couldnt even be bothered to come out to the waiting room. We were handed his glasses by the receptionist..and then she continued on with whatever work she was doing. No one was there to check the fit. I am so very unimpressed and would NEVER recommend bringing a child or new glasses wearer here. I plan on reporting our experience to medicaid/CHIP

Dr Sobel is a rock star! She has taken care of my whole family for 3 years now... I couldnt go anywhere else... I moved to Burlington and I drive all the way back to Rutland for my appointments...

They messed up my daughters glasses and refuse to fix them. Told me I was out of luck

Called to see if my insurance was accepted and would cover my eye exam. I was told that it would and chose to see Vered Sobel for this reason. I got a bill in the mail a week later for $85 and was told my insurance did not cover the exam. When I called to ask what happened, I was told that I must be wrong even though I specifically picked this office because I was told my visit would be covered. Furthermore, Vered Sobel was the most impersonal and generally unfriendly provider I have ever seen as a patient in any facility.

My Dad scratched his eye late on a Thursday. He got treated right away on Friday and Dr. Sobel came back on Saturday, when the office is closed, just to check up on his eye and make sure everything was healing up well.

They messed up my contact order TWICE for the same order. The receptionist is rude. I will be changing eye care facilities.
