The store always has an amazing selection of different products. Everything is kept nice and clean and the employees are incredibly helpful.
Very clean facility and a large store. Its so large that it never seems to be crowded. The butcher did a very good job recently of cutting two large porterhouse steaks for me. Always plenty of parking spaces. I wish that this store was closer to my house.
This place is not maintained to the same standards as other branches in the general area. The new manager is not interested in listening to customer feedback. Instead of trying to understand the customer (face mask gets in the way?), talking over the customer and suggesting that the 800-helpline should be the first response team for incompetent customers. The store is not kept clean during current pandemic - very disturbing. No hand sanitizers at entry points, no attendant to reassure customer about cart/basket sanitization. Several workers didnt even make a cursory effort to wear a mask. Not surprised that Unions rule the company.Too many issues with online orders owing to staffing management challenges, I believe, since competitors dont have issues. Of course, it is easy to blame it on the in-house app.
I went there to buy backed chicken and this skinny old lady was the meanest person I have ever met. Definitely she doesn’t like her job. She told me to go somewhere else after I told her which one I want. I guess I supposed to take whatever she gave me!!!!
This Kroger is poorly run. Pickup orders are not ready at specific time and store personnel think its funny to ask you to come back in two hours or the next day. Personnel will not answer phone.
This store is only 5 mins from my house, so I shop here almost everyday for my family and my mother in law. But the staff are not that friendly like used to, especially the skinny lady. Sometimes I shop because of the coupons, but they rarely work.
This Kroger in Sachse is a newer, clean, well managed facility. I wish I could say the same for the Kroger on Centennial in Richardson.
Thank you Sean from the pick up team !Super sweet young man . Although I had an order of more than 130 items he was quick and efficient in placing my items in the back of my car with care. Super polite and kind enough to answer my questions. Very patient. GIVE HIM A RAISE !!
This Kroger gas station is easily accessible off the 78 north bound lane and is only about 2 miles north of the President George Bush (Hwy 190). Very convenient and usually has low priced gasoline--usually about 10 cents lower than Dallas and Garland and about 6 cents lower than Rowlett. Clean, well lit and safe. The grocery store is one of the Signature Krogers so its larger than regular Kroger stores and they sell clothes and some furniture--kinda like a Wal-Mart with a smaller square footage. There are 5 self-checkout lanes so I like that because Im able to get in an out quickly as I please--especially when I stop to get only a few items.
Was just here a couple second ago wanted to get two nature made vitamins grab two and it didnt do the discount talk to the women at checkout and she said it had to be the exact same item to get the buy one get one free and I told her it does not show on the sign that you have to get the same product. Didnt give me the discount so I left.
I love this location. Employees are pleasant and helpful, the store is well stocked, and they even have constant help over by the self checkout area. The only problem, which it’s very frustrating, is that they don’t keep up with the expiring cold items. I have to double check from yogurt, cold meats and lunchables. I come across expired items way too often.
The bakery service was decent they asked me and my boyfriend if we needed any assistance two separate times which was nice. We picked a decent cake and left, as we were getting in the car we took one last glance at the cake and spot mold in a strawberry. Safe to say were never going back to the Kroger again.
This Kroger has a good selection of items but like other Krogers they dont seem to keep items stocked. The employees were not as friendly as they were the last time I was there
Love the Starbucks barista. Nicest ever
I do NOT recommend this location for Pick Up at all. I have ordered groceries for pick up the last 3 weeks and they have messed up the order in a different way every single time. I had to go out of my way after each trip to either get refunded (if they even allowed it!) or to go to a different grocery store to pick up my items (now they wont even give you a receipt/paper copy upon request so you dont know what got fulfilled and what didnt). The employees Ive spoken with have been completely indifferent and expressed no sincerity (except Brennan). I understand everybody needs grace during this crazy time, but the pick up at this location is just not worth your time, effort, or money.
Got gas for my car.
Worst grocery store! - This store is closest to my house so I continue to think well maybe this time will be different. But today was the final straw. Even before the pandemic this store had trouble keeping items in stock and they put so many things in the middle of the already narrow isles that you cant get two carts past each other. But now they want to run a continuous announcement about how they keep everyone safe by requiring masks and I see employee after employee with no mask on, mask below their chin or removed so they can talk on the phone or to friends. The older lady at the self check out NEVER has her mask on. Now some of the customers have followed suit and have stopped wearing their masks. I will no longer shop here.
Their produce is fabulous. Great selection of bulk foods, spices and teas. They have a great meat dept. Nice selection of take and go foods. Great bakery selection.
I thought masks were required to shop here. so many shoppers including employees not wearing the mask properly - wearing under their chin. i seen some shoppers take their masks off right when they get through that door.
This Kroger has been good in the past. But during this pandemic, it has struggled with sanitizing. The workers dont wear masks correctly in the store or at the gas pump. The click list pickup didnt work out for meeither since I made an order and it wasnt ready on time amd had to return the next day. Maybe they are understaffed? Workers are helpful overall. Managers should be responsible for mask enforcement.
There’s one dish that I prepare that requires sliced bolillo rolls and at the Kroger that I used to go before relocating there was a self use bread cutting machine that I used. Moreover, another location also near my previous house didn’t have the self serve station and the bakery would cut the bread for me.This location refused to cut the rolls for me stating that their machine will not cut the rolls, even thought I explained that I have gotten it done for past 6 years at different Kroger’s across states. This is unacceptable and it would have taken the baker less time to cut my bread then to keep repeating that he will not do that.I need the corporate office to contact me directly and explain the situation and why it was handled so poorly.
Kind of a dump. Mostly good interactions with staff.
Dont bother to order for pickup. Every week there are items left out we are charged for and if you provide special instructions for slicing deli items they just slice them how they want. Im not even sure employees at this store can read.
Just tried Kroger pickup here and was EXTREMELY dissatisfied. They did not give me any dish washing detergent even though I asked for two different kinds and even went I to the store and saw both of them on the shelves! And we had to wait for 20 minutes for our order which normally would not bother me but there where 2-3 cars that arrived AFTER us and where immediately helped. Highly suggest to never do Kroger pick up here
Shame on Kroger management at this location for not letting the general public & customers aware of their employees testing positive for Covid-19. You are endangering other peoples lives to just make a profit. Shame on corporate & management for not over-seeing the half a$s sanitation job that was done to ensure safety of their employees & customers. Stay safe & aware!
If a store is open for business it should have customer service available. If you can’t serve your customers then don’t keep the store open.
Went in today, and several employees, including the assistant store manager, fruit stockers, cashiers and people in the fish department, werent wearing masks. The woman working in the floral department was rude, ignored me and my mother, and didnt help until my mother asked her repeatedly. There were no customers in front of us, and she wasnt on the phone. After that, we get home, open the roast beef we bought and ate a bag. We open the second bag in the container, and I make another sandwich. My mother takes it to make hers, and the piece has a mold spot when lifted to separate it from the rest. We double checked the date, and it doesnt expire until September 4th. I tried to upload pictures but Google reviews wouldnt let me.This Kroger used to be nice, but in the past few years has seriously gone down hill.
While I love this Kroger....I can not understand why someone would be allowed to work coughing behind the deli/bakery area today!! Even if its a cold, now is not the time to have any sick people at work, I have chronic asthma and while I do wear masks and gloves, I still fear for our elderly and disabled with respiratory issues....stay home if you have a sneeze or cough as we dont need to spead nothing at this time or any time!
Good variety of grocery item plus produce sold here
I’m so disappointed that they kept stocking expired items. I went back today to get an exchange for an expired butter that I bought last week. They still had five or more expired ones in front and they stockEd the good ones in the back. They were all expired in April. It seems like they are knowingly trying to sell the to customers that don’t pay attention. I spoke to one of the employee but she didn’t sound concerned.
High volume at this store ensures everything is fresh. Great people working here. Just watch prices and specials very carefully when checking out. It is not uncommon for an item to ring up the non-special price and higher than marked.
This is where I get my gas for my car. With Kroger gas points I get up to $1. off per gallon. This last visit it was $0.70 off per gallon of gas.
This where I go to but all my meat. It is always fresh and they have great specials.
Im so thankful they had eggs, bread and peanut butter at good prices.
Stopped in for dinner rolls. Crowded but got thru line quickly.
❤
Went in August 10 shortly before Midnight. Nothing open but self help registers. Lady employee was very nice at first, even went to get a sales paper for me, and assisted me in checking out. I went to my vehicle and spent maybe 30 minutes checking my email. Soon after, I began to feel sick and went back into the store, asking the same lady where the ladies room was. After coming out of the ladies room, I noticed the blood pressure machine. I first checked my weight. Then the same employee passed me on her way to the ladies room, and I believe she asked me if I needed any help. I told her I couldnt get the machine to go back to the main menu. It kept asking me if I wanted to repeat the weight/body mass index test. She told me the machine was flaky and didnt work half the time. THEN she told me that the store was closing in a few minutes. I started to leave when I noticed that the machine had reset itself and offered me the choice of the blood pressure test. So I took my blood pressure, and was reading the results when she came out of the ladies room and appeared to be annoyed that I was still there. I told her my blood pressure was 106 (lowest in years), and she kept walking, totally ignoring me. When she got up front, she announced over the loudspeaker that the store was closing in TEN minutes!I felt like she was trying to get me to leave at least FIFTEEN minutes before the store closed! She knew I had already purchased my groceries and taken them to my van, so what was that all about?I suppose she can only be nice for a short amount of time before her disdain for elderly people rears its ugly head! A pleasant shopping experience just turned into a bad one. 😞
This location is super clean and well lit. Friendly staff and a great assortment of items. Good gluten free selection as well and their produce looks great. Parking lot can get a little chaotic, so keep an eye out!
The clicklist service is out of this world. The staff work hard to get the order right and offer really good alternatives to items that are out.The store is great with the layout of the new format. I really enjoy the self checkout lanes.
Very clean and protected store
I love this Kroger. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the store is always clean. The only time I have issues getting down an asile is when they are restocking with a huge rack but they always move it if I need them to.
I appreciate all Kroger Sachse is doing to keep serving our community. Employees are professional and friendly in a stressful situation. Thank you!
No hand sanitization or wipes to clean the shopping carts at the door. Some shoppers were not wearing masks
Love this store, they make fresh sushi everyday right in front of you. Food selection is great. The cheese selection is great as well. The store is clean. Plenty of nice helpful employees. We shop here every week. I also buy all my gas from here as well using my fuel points to get as much as 30 cents a gallon off.
Fantastic Kroger! Very busy but employees are always helpful and kind.
Great place to shop.
Curbside pick up service is too bad . Out of 11 items we got only 2 items. They didn’t update us they were of stock . For some items they charged us but we didn’t get the it.So we need to call them and talk to them for an hour to talk about it .
Always clean. Friendly staff. In a good part of town. Most store brand items are on par with national brands. Prices are competitive or better than other stores.
Awesome customer service! Everyone rushing to help you find something or just stopping by just to say hello and see if you need help. Quick service. Have been checked out several times before on closed lanes by managers who saw lines getting longer. Glad its in my neighborhood
Superb Grocery Store for Weekly Shopping! Selection and prices seriously give Walmart a run for its money, especially for fresh food! Gas reward points are a great feature as I routinely pay 50 cents less every time I fill up. Good customer service and I have met many friends when shopping here!
Never drink and go grocery shopping.went for trash bags, left with 1.5 lbs bacon, 10 lbs potatoes, and a half gallon blue bell ice cream.no trash bags....
This Kroger location stands out to me mostly because of its friendly employees and the efficient manner in which the store is run. Employees have always been helpful when assistance is needed finding or retrieving items in the asiles, and Ive never experienced an issue at checkout with coupons or payment methods. The only issue Ive experienced is the store running out of certain items, but I am visiting for the holidays and cannot fault the store for not being able to restock items constantly.
Very busy Krogers. Theres a Starbucks inside, a sushi bar, deli and another counter that offers ethnic fare. Good selections. Ive been trying the Kroger brand items and I havent been disappointed. In some cases its better than brand named items.
Kroger is a really great supermarket. First of all the management keeps the store very clean and fully stocked. Basically you can get all of your grocery items there. The store is stocked with Organic items as well, including leafy green veggies.I went there for nail polish tonight....I wasnt sure they would have it but they did!!! One stop shopping, I love it. I give Krogers 4 Stars ☆☆☆☆
Nice place to do my groceries. The service is AWESOME from the managers to employees. Prices are good and if youre a card member the benefits are great specially on gas discounts.Come and see for yourself.
I can find nearly everything I need at Kroger. Its inexpensive and the checkers and baggers are friendly. There is always someone roaming the store available to help you find what youre looking for. Produce is good and fresh, and the deli and bakery are excellent.
Todays Turkey gravy is delish w mashed potatoes. And the white cheese mac was so good!
Clean store with a wide variety of products. I always come here for my groceries. The Kroger brand products are kind of basic, but they have all of your favorite brands here.
Nice clean store deli and meat market are always quick. Prices are about the same as everywhere else. Some decent deals just never on stuff I can eat
Well, first off, I love Kroger in general! This one is a block from my house. The workers and cashiers are so helpful and friendly. Ive never dealt with long lines at this location. The bakery can do anything you need. And I love that they hire people with special needs to assist with checkout! Such sweethearts!
My go to Kroger. They always have the meat I am looking for. Theyre clean and organized. The layout is functionaland the staff is nice.
I wish I had a Kroger closer! Great selection and the ONLY local grocer with low carb yogurt! If I happen to drive by a Kroger I always stock up on yogurt. Sounds crazy almost, but when you realize low fat means high sugar, its worth a trip to a farther store. If I want a sugary dairy treat Id just eat ice cream!
My wife’s bank called and reported fraud on her debit card at this location. We’ve never been here a day in our life. Possibly someone stole the information from somewhere else and randomly picked this store, however keep your head on a swivel.
My second favorite Kroger. My first is off Shiloh and 190. I visit this one to get gas for my flex fuel vehicle. The inside is very expansive and open feeling. I had an issue where I didnt know there was a limit per transaction on a sale item. I went to customer service and the associate was really helpful. He gave me the difference between the two prices back without having to refund and repurchase.
Kroger in Sachse has clear aisles and lots of great pricing. The points earned are great when you can get $1.59 per gallon gas! Perfect!3-6 - Unfortunately the policy has changed for prescriptions giving you points. It used to be 50 points per prescription filled. Now it is for 1 prescription every 7 days. I may look for another location to fill my prescriptions now.
Well laid out store with excellent customer service. Very clean, I enjoy shopping here. Great pricing.
This is one of the only places near by that has E85 and almost the only place I fill up at. During the rush hours it is very busy. The reason I give it 3 stars is because I did get water saturated ethanol on one fill up. I noticed almost instantly after pulling away from the pump. I bought a fuel test kit and it did show water. But this hasnt happened again.
Ive lived all over DFW area and I have NEVER Loved any Grocery Store as I DO this one........Theres NOT 1 bad thing to say about this store!!!Keep doing the AWESOME jobs that ALL of you are doing.......
This Kroger is always very clean and organized. I come here to pick up groceries, renew my vehicle registration, and fill up on gas. Kroger is a bit more expensive than Walmart, but Im mostly paying for the convenience since I live right behind it. Theyre also open pretty late for those nights you forgot something you needed.
Clean and has a great staff always a great selection on sale. They even open a register if I have my cat full. I have gotten to know the manager he is willing to help with anything I might need. Cant forget the gas points!
Its a Kroger. Just fine for grocery. Has meal stations and a Starbucks. Place is clean and well stocked
Best staff love the bakery lady’s most family friendly grocery store in twon
Clean and well stocked. Great organic section
The only Kroger that listened to my request to get a Carolines Cart to make shopping with a special needs child easier. Also, the store is always clean and the staff is friendly.
One of the best in the area. Great markdown items too.
Best sushi of all the area Krogers and the other area Krogers have pretty good sushi. Great wine and beer section. The meat is awesome. The produce is good but I still run to Sprouts for most of ours. They have a nice selection of healthy brands. I have never gone and not found what I was after. The staff is friendly and helpful and the lines move nicely.
Jerry the meat manager is a good guy he picked out the perfect cuts of steak for me and was very helpful with understanding marbling. I would recommend
Favorite grocer. Good prices. Lots of selections. I can always find what I need.
This is my go to place for groceries as it is very convenient for me. Friendly staff.. sales items are almost always in stock.. quick checkout
This is where you need to do your grocery shopping. Best place to buy steaks and fish. Freshness at a great prices
Great selection. Looks of checkers. Self checkout has dedicated person to help.
Lowest E85 prices in the Dallas area. However just 4 pumps out of the 20 or so analogous will dispense E85. Get one of those free Kroger loyalty cards and they reduce the price by 3 cents / gallon.
I enjoy Kroger over most grocery stores. Great prices.
It is overall a good store.
Awesomely fresh produce.. better that walmart... and they have boars head deli meat!
Love Kroger. Great fish and meats also great deli and fresh vegetables.
An easy in and out store when traffic on the road isnt to bad.
Very clean and has great selection of snacks. Very helpful employee at self check out.
Always clean and well stocked up. Nice, helpful people.
It is neat and clean. The people here are friendly. The only reason that I gave two stars instead five stars is that the price tags are not always correct, and sometime misunderstanding.
My first time using clicklist, the shop online and pick up at store service and I loved it. On this chilly & windy day it was really convenient to pull up in my car and have my groceries loaded.
Great clean store, helpful associates. I wish they had a better selection of Mexican chirizo.
Friendly staff and pretty quick when I visit.
The Kroger in Sachse is terrible! They never have everything I need. The frozen vegetable section is always a mess and out of stock of most items. It looks like goats stocked it. Everything is everywhere and restocking containers are left in the isles -- not once but all the time. They humiliate the employees by making them say Woohoo every little bit. I hate to see the employees humiliated and required to act like nerds, but I mostly hate hearing Woohoo every couple of minutes. It is annoying. Their bags are flimsy and can barely hold anything. At the self checkout they treat you like you are trying to steal. We spend on average $300 a week in groceries there and we get treated like thieves. I emailed the company about our experiences and they sent me an email telling me how much they pride themselves on good service and never addressed the problem or even suggested that they would do anything about it. There are other grocery stores!
1 cashier brandon, on the phone texting and helping a customer, the customer was being a bit difficult though, just dont appreciate the 1 cashier and him texting
Ever since the updated self check-out lanes have been added, the check-out clerks only seem irritated to have to do the job theyre paid for. No intiention of polite conversation, overly rough with your items, and a general discontent for their choices in life.
Clean and organized. Everyone is helpful and courteous.
They clearly dont have a manager today. From the rude cashier named Jessica (per my receipt) to the parking lot cluttered with buggies everywhere. Too bad I needed to pick up hubbies prescription today or I would have gone to the Walmart grocery down the street.
