Iraqi owned market.... great selection of halal food, both as a grocery and ready to eat. I highly recommend trying them out. The fresh baked bread from the bakery is always incredible.

The grill order is too slow. You have to wait 20 minutes in line just to order something from the grill, then wait another 30 minutes to get the order. Must be a way to treat customers better.

I ordered the number 2 the beef plate and some baklava I was loud and clear . The guy at the register seemed to be talking to himself like he was confused, so I repeated what I said. We went over to the baklava, I got what I wanted and paid. I waited about 30 minutes for my food walked around the store, I realized they had forgotten about my order the food guy turned his back to me and was acting like he was cleaning or something. Also the bill was to small. I did not pay enough.Strange, I dont know what to think. The food is great, but I will not go back anytime soon. Free Meal.

The bread here is amazing. But, what I do not like is the disorganization and how cluttered whole store is. Make sure to check the expiration date on each item since some are old and count up your purchase before you check out.

Great bread but never answer the phone, we drive to them for hours to buy bread, when we get there we asked them for 10 or 15 pack and they say no we cannot sell you more than two or three because it’s a high demand and you should call and we tell them that we have been trying to reach you for hours and hours and nobody picks up the phone and the cycle goes on. Great Mediterranean store (mixed Iraqi and Afghan/Persian products). It offers a large selection of items and it contains a restaurant inside with great chef and very delicious middle eastern cuisine. There is a bakery inside too that bakes different types of bread (Iraqi/Afghani/Persian). But, what makes this place great is that items are so reasonably priced and it presents you with a really authentic experience.Update Aug02,2021: service is not good anymore; and the Chef knows nothing! Good quality is downgraded as well.

Drove by and decided to pull in. What I found was a treasure trove of Mediterranean goodies! From Greek style hot food to fresh hot kababs. So many jar goods like a variety of olives, pickled cabbage and eggplant. Anytime you want to try something different stop by and get fresh hot beef samosas, to perfectly grilled fresh beef burgers made on the spot. I am so glad I found this Arabic market!

Halal meat and the guys are willing to cut it, trim and package to your request. The meat department isn’t as good as it was with the previous ownership, so I miss that when coming to this store. Some of the guys working here aren’t so friendly. But, excellent fresh baked bread, and a nice selection of everything else. With the selection and prices, this is still my favorite middle eastern store in Sacramento.

Real nice people, I get a nice customers service experience whenever I go there. The meat there taste like meat unlike the ones I get from other stores. They have one of the best sandwiches I have ever tasted. Very friendly people address people as brother/sister. A little bit busy but I don’t really care because I feel welcomed every time I come to this place.

Today, I have ordered five pces Bolani and wait for tens minutes then the guy how make it says I don’t have it even though bolanies are available there he received a call from his friend to hold baloni for him. I was there when he speaking on the phone and waiting for my bolanies. The guy makes Bolanies is very ridiculous and lier.

I was eating my food and heard a massive crunch to find that I had a mouth full of glass shards. There were glass shards in my salad and if it got inside of me they are f-ed

Only one cash register towards the back where the people traffic of getting bread, refrigerated item, hot food and meat are too congested. They need reorganization and maybe another location of cash register so social distancing is possible.

This spot is my favorite. I visit a lot of restaurants but to this restaurant I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very affectionate and the food they place on your table is so yummy. I am always happy to have a good meal in this place. Highly recommended.

Mediterranean food and the atmosphere here is above par. I love this place so much. Definitely worth going back to. The bill was decent for the quality. Feels similar to a restaurant in New York I loved.

The grocery store has a wide variety of of goods from different parts of the Middle East. Their fresh kabob and bread are delicious. Definitely worth checking out.

A lot of Syrian products and variety, but the shop is unorganized especially the bakery, with little bit of effort it would be better.

At the first moment you enter this restaurant they give you an enjoyable feeling. Very hospitable waiters, it is a lovely restaurant to pass time with your friends or with your date. heavenly meals, experienced chef de cuisine, reasonable pay and attentive service. Highly recommended.

Great food, price, and customer service. To go is probably the best. The seating area inside needs improvement. The market has a lot of authentic food, packaged food, spices, and imported goods. It was along our way to San Francisco. Definitely coming back again, time permitting.

This is an amazing little market, deli, bakery and butcher shop. This place is well known amongst middle Eastern and Islamic communities, but it should be known by all. I especially love to come here for a great lunch or to pick up authentic middle Eastern breads. If youve never been here, I highly recommend you stop in and get some bread and kabobs. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming and the food is beyond delicious.

Omg I love their ( beef) kabob it’s so good, and their rice is well cooked. The salad needs some improvements it tastes old and really mushy and so does the fried eggplant the amount of oil is a too much. The Arabic middle eastern desserts are all delightful. I would suggest if their prices stayed firm for all people bc it seems prices would vary depending on people and no one likes that. Got to pull the trigger and take a side ( price rates ). Otherwise I would have gave a 5 star.

Not from the area but dropped by for some lunch. Got some delicious fresh made breads - several types of which I had never tried before. Ordered hummus, baba ghanoush, and tabbouleh to fill the diamond bread as a sandwich. The breads were so delicious! The best part of this place are the super friendly staff who were SO accommodating of our less than knowledgeable crowd and gave us some free bread and baklava. Had to give them a good review because they were just so darn sweet and make dang good bread!

A young boy in counter, I say hi, he responded nothing, I paid through my card, then picked up my things, I said thank you and have a good day, he responded nothing. I think customer service should be learnt from them. Or he should be assigned to teach customer service in American River College 😂Even they dont deserve a one star

The falafel sandwich is delicious. Be aware dont get one in the mid afternoon around 3ish. This because there are different sandwich makers plus it doesnt taste as fresh. I recommend in the morning to about 12pm. Other than that definitely go for some good food. They are also fairly inexpensive.

Worst place to shop from,You can spend your whole life waiting in the bakery queue and no one from the staff are willing to ask you how can i help you!!!Update 10/22/2021: we went to buy Iraqi bread, the guy in the bakery told us that it would take 15 minutes for the bread to be ready, he wrote my name in the waiting list and it was the 1st one, weve waited more than that and at the end he handed the bread to someone else claiming that she came 1st. so rude, unprofessional, irresponsible..

We were told about this market by a friend. My girl and I went to visit the place because we have been learning how to cook other ethnic foods. We got there and its a nice little market. They have goods like any normal store but from their country. They have a bakery, a meat counter and a counter to buy ready to eat cooked items. The even have a place to eat so you can enjoy the food they process there. They make everything right there in front of you, fun to watch. They were freindly, service was good. Definetly go back again, food was great. Sorry no photos....

Sacramentos best shawarma! Bread always fresh. Seating area very plain. Come here for fresh delicious food. Service fast. Business is always very clean. The garlic white sauce is always fresh and tasty.

Very low quality service. When you order food, check your bill and also the food before you leave. It happened to me that I ordered chicken sandwich and they only give me bread in a box and it was take away, when I reached home and opened the box, there was only bread in it. This store really need better staff. Also, several stuff is expired but they still sell it.

Every time I stop by to pick up some groceries or fresh meat at the butcher shop, I always end up buying some food. Or maybe its the other way around! Food here is great. The falafel is always hot and crispy and full of herbs and flavor. The hummus is great and the breads are fresh here. The prices are affordable and you get a good amount of food for your money. I recommend the falafel sandwich, the chicken kebabs and the hummus a la carte, but they have other delicious items that are worth trying as well.

Im latina but LOVE middle eastern food! Im luckily to live close to this market and the food is so good. All the breads and food are amazing. If you want food to make at home or buy ready, this place has everything for middle eastern needs. My favorite is the samosas and bread that looks like big tortillas, yum!!!EDIT- I forgot to say the people are very nice. They care about continue customers and treat you well. Thank you!!!!
