No one contacted me after I dropped off my car early in the morning. I had to call 3 times to get information. The person driving my car did not use gloves, which I was told was part of their Covid conscious plan. The driver left a personal item in my vehicle, my backseat was dirty, and there’s a dent in the side of my door that wasn’t there before.I was told not to drive my car for at least an hour after the job was finished. So I asked to pick up my car the next day since they weren’t even finished with it by 5pm, which is when they close. But I was told to pick it up that evening and not in the morning. Then my emailed receipt also said not to drive it until the next day. Very confusing.They don’t have any sort of verification before picking up your vehicle. They almost handed me the keys to the wrong car! They don’t check ID, have you sign out, or even ask for your name. It’s just “yes?” When you get to the window.In addition to all that, when I did call, customer service was very rude on the phone. They seemed annoyed that I was calling. When I arrived and talked to customer service in-person it was even worse. Inhospitable, rude, seemingly irritated. Hopefully my windshield stays on! Seems like everyone there needs a day-off for some self-care and to reset. Hopefully they get what they need so they can better serve their customers.

PLAN TO DROP OFF ONLY AND EXPECT A 3 HOUR TURN AROUND.This place was a joke. I made an appointment and was told my car would take 60-90 minutes. It took 3 hours, someone gave me an update after 2 hours saying it would take another 20 minutes after they heard I was still sitting in the waiting room… (not sure where they thought I would have went if they didn’t take my phone number). Ended up taking an additional 40.While sitting here I witnessed someone coming back for the 3rd time and having to wait hours then getting incorrectly charged for more $, someone being told their car would take an hour and leaving because after an hour it was still sitting in the parking lot, someone getting a text that their car was ready but still having to wait 30+ minutes, someone having an incorrect form printed and signed then attempting to charge $100 more. Multiple people gave feedback to the staff who blamed it on other things. No one took responsibility. Not one staff mentioned longer than normal wait times to incoming customers.This place really needs to work on its processes, procedures and customer experience. I can confirm from sitting in this waiting room for so long and reading other reviews that this was not a one off experience. This is just how they operate.In the end Luis helped me out and took responsibility but it shouldn’t have been all on him to make it right, other staff could have been way more helpful along the way. It wasn’t his fault that the front staff couldn’t communicate properly and were just wandering around.

Safelite handled the two chips in my windshield very quickly and efficiently. It is not too far out of downtown/midtown. Staff was helpful and friendly and my insurance covered the whole activity. My work was finished faster than I expected too. As normal during covid masks required in the office/waiting area but you can still sit and wait in their chairs.

Showed up for appointment early . Was told on phone that it would take 2 hours. Drove 30 miles one way and when I arrived was told it would be minimum of 4 hours... to wait in filthy waiting room with homeless wandering outside. Apparently they are short handed today Then treated rudely and told I should read fine print and not wait for car just drop it off. I should have been called and been notified of the issue. I left. Take my biz elsewhere.

Awful workmanship. We had a broken side power window replaced. The technician left glass all over the trucks floor, there is a ton of glass still inside the door, and they failed to reinstall the doors interior plastic panel properly. When I tried to contact them about this, things just got worse... Their customer service is awful, too. None of their customer service phone numbers work (their automated system drops the call). Their online chat system is the pits too. I waited over an hour to chat with an online agent. When I finally connected, the online chat agent told me to call customer service (giving me the exact same number I had already tried to call 3+ times earlier in the day), and then disconnected my chat. 100% do not recommend. Everything about their service is just awful.

Unable to get an appointment to repair the side window they apparantly didnt install correctly. I have made multiple calls and they only accept online reservations which gives me a message that states I need to call. I have left my info about 5 times for someone to call me back overvthe past couple months but still nothing. They have lost the human touch and have absolutely zero customer focused care. I hate this company and will never do business with them again. Thanks for making it so incredibly difficult to do business with you!

I would never use there mobile install. They showed up first time with wrong window. Three days after they show up with same wrong window. I demanded money back since it had been previously paid for. I went to Capital Auto Glass. 1.5 hours later my window was done and ready to go for 60 dollars less.

I hardly write reviews about anything (especially negative reviews). This time, I cant help but do this!Safelite sent a technician to my house for a tiny windshield repair. The next thing I know, he broke my windshield and claimed that the weather was too hot and the glass was already stressed from the heat!. He went on to give me a quote of $945 for replacement.Im still confused!Because Im a peace keeper, I let him go.He didnt fix my problem, he made it worse!

Repair took more than twice as long as they said it would. When it was finally complete they put the wrong color panel in. Safelite spends a lot of money on advertising mostly highlighting theyre great customer service. After the slap dash work and the longer than expected weight they offered little concessions. They did promise to put the correct panel in when it arrived..

Safelite replaced my broken windshield. Because of the safety features on my new Subaru, the replacement required a more complicated recalibration of the cameras and sensors, but that was no problem for Safelite. Great job!

These people are downright unprofessional. We made an appointment and everything was agreed upon and then while at their place of business they cancel my appointment because a waiver was not signed. The corporate representative did not tell us this information. They have wasted our time and really put us out a day. For truck drivers this is a big deal!

The windshield replacement is great but they havent told me that about the windshield that they are going to put in my car is not OEM. Another thing is my car is done early and nobody told me that it was done. I was there sitting the whole time waiting to be called but nobody called. I wasted more than an hour waiting.

My experience was amazing!!! I have dreaded getting my windshield replaced and put it off for quite some time. Everyone here was extremely professional, friendly, helpful and explained everything in detail. Reasonably priced witch is always a plus. First guy who showed up didnt want to touch it, too scared. Second guy took a hammer and chisel trying to get it out. Third guy finally showed up and got it done. Now that all 3 were there at 5pm they were in a huge rush and not paying attention. All done in a single day, but it took them over 6 hours. Put it on 1/4 inch lower than where the original sat. Got the black sealant all over my fenders. Left glass on the dash, floor, seats, door panels, center console, outside running boards, and all under the hood. They broke the wiper cowling and didnt adjust the wiper blades correctly when they reinstalled them.

Took my car for an appointment last Wednesday, 06/16/21, after 2 hours of being there, I was informed they didn’t have the correct windshield and had contacted my insurance for an authorization for a different windshield and sometimes takes 1-2 days. Left with them saying I’d receive a call to reschedule for windshield replacement; no call from the shop 7 days later. Called the shop, tried to speak to a rep 4 different times and hung up on 3 times. Called an additional time and was routed to my insurance company to file a claim which I’d already done on 06/09/21. Attempted the chat feature and was given two 800 numbers to call where I sat on hold collectively for a couple hours. Luckily I’m working frim home and could leave my cell on but never got a representative. I’ve taken my business elsewhere, needless to say! DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION if you can help it….horrible everything! Oh, and on leaving that day, the woman that returned my keys made a statement that another customer had to return 3 times to the Richard’s Blvd location before the correct windshield was received for his vehicle. Save yourself, pick a different business!

Drove 60 miles (120 round trip) to closest Safelite to have glass replaced. Tech comes out and tells me he was unable to recalibrate my camera and wherever he needed to call for help was closed.Guess I will have to drive a bit more to have it done correctly.

I booked an appointment with Safelite through my insurance to fix a chip on my windshield. My car was serviced by Fernando, who explained to me the process and what to expect once the chip was filled. He also warned me of potential issues during the repair process, with none thankfully occurring. The repair was done in 30 minutes and I am satisfied with the results. Overall, the service was great and Fernando was punctual and thorough with his work.

These guys were great! Had a chip, got an appointment the next day. They took care of me right away - on time - and had the chip sealed in like 20 minutes. Also, excellent customer service. Before fixing the chip, they took me out explained how it would work (structural, not cosmetic) which I already knew, but I appreciate the disclaimer. And they did a great job.

I wish I can give them zero stars. Replaced my windshield with wrong windshield I was told on April 26-2021 they gonna order replacement today is 6/25/2021 still no answer. Every time I’m going to car wash the plastic cover by the hoods that keep my car wiper and other staff from dust keep coming off all the times. Very disappointing .

Unbelievable!Your shop on Richard Blvd knowing installed a non OEM front windshield to my 2020 Rav4 !When at first they should have told me that didnt have the glass. Could have rescheduled when you did. Still driving a safe vehicle!My appointment was Saturday the 29th at 3:30pm.Couldnt leave till 7:22pm for my car Couldnt be recalibrate!Then you forced me to pay my full deductible when its you fault you installed the wrong glass.DONT GO HERE!!

It is impossible to get a hold of a human being through the listed phone number.**Update**I know you want customers to go to your online portal, Safelite. But you know what...sometimes a request is non-conforming to your automated processes. Maybe I was having trouble with my existing plans getting my windshield replaced with the dealership and wanted to confirm if you had the ability to take care of all the sensors without me having to make a second trip to the dealership afterwards. Maybe Im getting conflicting information from Geico that says you cant do the work correctly and in one stop. I value my time more than cost savings and wanted to not make multiple trips around town and time off of work. Maybe it would be a good investment on your behalf to hire a $15/hr call center staff to handle my request with regards to a $2,000 window replacement. Does that ROI make sense?? Someones getting paid to respond to Google ads, but cant pick up a phone...

Installed the wrong windshield and I had to point it out. I have waited weeks to get a call back about setting a replacement appointment. There is no way to call the shop and ask, all calls are routed to the call center and then dropped unless you are making an appointment.

UPDATE after Safelite response (my original comment is below): First, about your encouraging your customers to access your stores on-line -- many older persons, like my parents, still have cars, but are not NOT internet proficient and still want to call to schedule or ask questions.Secind, for customers, like myself -- I CAN schedule on-line, BUT I had a QUESTION about wiper installation service. I am busy in life and dont care to spend time searching through FAQs and dont want to make an appointment without info. So I stopped by to speak to someone on my way to work. It was 7:50 a.m., doors were locked. I did not get answers.Lastly, your reply didnt respond to my observation that some would-be customers would like to schedule to drop off their car for service on their way to work, but if you dont open until 8... well that is not encouraging to me, and Im sure not to other would-have-been customers.ORIGINAL COMMENTIt is hard to get through to a live person on the phone. I stopped by on the way to work and found out they dont open until 8a.m.I would think they would open at least 30 minutes before so that people could drop off their vehcle and get to work.

Amazing service!!!! Military friendly and have a good staff that definitely care, based on what I saw. I came to this place to get my windshield fixed. The place already had a few customers in their waiting room (there was a free coffee machine there with plenty of big chairs) and all the staff I met were pretty polite and honest from the start. I checked in with the front desk and was introduced to my first technician a few minutes later (I can’t remember his name but he was a very polite guy - “Hello! How are you sir? Can we see your car please?”). After inspecting the damage and giving me an estimate on how long it would take, he then gave me a fair warning that the repairs would not 100% guarantee that the damage would be completely gone and stressed that they would do their best to fix the damage as much as they could. He then took my keys and drove my vehicle into their garage. 10 minutes later I was approached by another technician who gave me a status update on my vehicle and answered any questions I had about their work (he seemed like another friendly, polite guy who wanted me to know what was happening). Even though there were at least three other cars in the shop that day, I was in-and-out of there in maybe 30 minutes, tops. These guys really worked hard to repair my car AND even gave a complimentary window wash and vacuum of the dash board to clean up any debris leftover from repairs. I was then advised to not wash my car for at least 24 hours, got my keys back, and left with a smile. This place seems to have a lot of positive reviews from other customers and I definitely see why. I will come back to this place for any future work I need!

My experience with Safelite was very convenient.Their service was amazing and the staff seemed like cool people!Setting up an appointment to get my windshield replaced and was easy and straight forward.Then my appointment came around and I was 30 minutes late!! I called them 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment to tell them I was running late from traffic and that I was on my way and they said it was okay.I came in and they took my keys and told me it was gonna take 30-40 min for them to work on it.They were done pretty quick and they cleaned my dashboard, all of my windows and vacuumed my front seat carpets. I wish I could have left them a tip. Thanks a lot, guys. :)

Waited over a week for an appointment to come to our house to fix a couple of chips on my windshield. I missed the call from the repair guy and an hour later I received a call from another guy to reschedule the appointment. I was upset and raised my voice wanting an explanation as to why after one attempt to contact me warrants a cancellation of the appointment. Instead of an explanation, I was told that he can not help me if I did not lower my voice. WHAT A JOKE! Their advertisement claims that you don’t have to be there for them to do the job!

I had quite a large crack in my windshield from some sort of flying object. Used the website and sent in pictures. They said the windshield would have to be replaced and I figured it would. They got me a quick appointment and would even bill my insurance minus my deductible. I have all the gadgets built into my windshield which was going to cost a bit more. It turned out I didnt have a front camera and they didnt charge me for it! Wow, an honest business! They even gave me a military discount! Very impressed and it was done earlier than the time they gave me. The windshield looks great and it is hard to tell it was ever replaced, minus the crack and a few chips, that are no longer there!

Someone attemped to break into my car on Friday morning, December 16th. AAA suggested Safelite with the usual We cant make you choose them, however... statements. The following Thursday, December 22nd, 6 days later. I take my car to Safelite on Richard Blvd in Sacramento, CA. They replace the driver side glass and then, AFTER removing the pitted rear passenger drivers side glass they realize that they have the wrong glass. 6 days AFTER I reported the incident and AFTER they have removed my damaged, but viable glass! They then, put saran wrap and duct tape on my car and promise the correct glass will be in the next day. Friday, December 23rd comes, there is no glass and no contact until I call and ask what is going on. The day before Christmas Eve, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, the day after Christmas, December 27th and I still have to contact THEM to see when they will repair the my glass and fix THEIR ERROR thats made my car unsafe and unusable! I cannot drive the car on the highway, I cannot park the car out of my line of site, since a box cutter will easily get someone inside the vehicle. I could not drive my car to church on Christmas Day! On December 27th, I am still hunting the Richard Blvd Safelite manager who apparently does not have the courage or courtesy to even speak with me. DO NOT trust the ads! DO NOT trust these people! They will send YOU TOO home, in the rain, with parts of your car in your trunk and saran wrap and duct tape on your car! The whole incident has proven them to be far too incompetent to trust.

A truck kicked up rock broke my window I schedule a home visit but realized Tuesday would be to to long so I brought it in and they said they can get me in today sat down for about ten minutes tech came out to talk to me and now car in in bay getting work done. I had my windshield replaced a few months back there and the work was done very quickly. My car has a front camera when you get too close to anything it will show me on my screen inside the car and it has a triangle I never noticed that before. So I thought they didn’t re-calibrate it right .Mario the assistant manager was very patient with me. They calibrated my car twice and told me I can go to the car dealer and have it done because it wouldn’t go away. Came to find out that that was normal. Mario even gave me his cell phone number to stay in contact he went above and beyond excellent customer service I really appreciate how helpful he was. I will definitely recommend this location thank you again Mario for your patience and working with me
